Here SHE is, the USS New York, made from scrap from the World Trade Center

IPB Image

USS New York

It was built with 24 tons of scrap steel from the World Trade Center.

It is the fifth in a new class of warship - designed for missions that include special operations against terrorists. It will carry a crew of 360 sailors and 700 combat-ready Marines to be delivered ashore by helicopters and assault craft.

Steel from the World Trade Center was melted down in a foundry in Amite, LA to cast the ship's bow section. When it was poured into the molds on Sept. 9, 2003, "those big rough steelworkers treated it with total reverence,” recalled Navy Capt. Kevin Wensing, who was there. "It was a spiritual moment for everybody there."

Junior Chavers, foundry operations manager, said that when the trade center steel first arrived, he touched it with his hand and the "hair on my neck stood up."

"It had a big meaning to it for all of us," he said. "They knocked us down. They can't keep us down. We're going to be back."

The ship's motto? "Never Forget"

I did some research on this awhile back (couple of years ago) and found out the last USS NewYork was put at rest on September 11th 1911 or something like that

Yes, here it is (my original source was from a marine buff, though)

QUOTE

Oddly enough, a previous holder of the name, USS New York (BB-34), had its keel laid on September 11th, 1911, exactly 90 years to the day before the WTC was attacked.

Notice how the two stacks look like pyramids? Why would this be a "spiritual" thing for those big tough ironworkers, I wonder?

Wow, those dates are something...I tell ya...

It was probably spiritual for them because of material they were using and for what they were building it for...It was probably more emotional than spiritual...

I received the pic and the article in an email...I had not even realized that they were building a ship using the Twin Tower metal.....

I don't know if the two stacks resemble a pyramid or not....The point is missing, it looks more like a cone to me...

Wow!!! Thanks for sharing this!!

How powerful is that!?! I couldn't imagine being one of those workers as the steel arrived...it must have been pretty emotional for sure. How about for the sailors aboard...pretty powerful motivation. Lord Bless our troops!!

Blessings to all...

I'm confused...where did Jesus tell us to glorify war or be proud about it? This is man's vain pride on display.

It would have been more noble to have used it to build a building for orphans or something, as a symbolic gesture of the children who lost parents on that day. This is just vain macho B/S and pretty men admiring themselves in a mirror..

sorry, but that's what I see.

I have read that the pic you posted is another USS. The USS New York is still under construction. huh.gif

I posted the email someone sent me, I was not even aware that a ship was being built using the materials from the buildings...I will ask the person who sent it to me...

mmddll, you certainly have a right to how you feel...I for one don't glorify war...

I'm sorry you feel that way. Sure it could have been used for those things... I believe, though that a whole lot of money was raised just for that purpose. I live in a military town so I'm sure I'm a little biased on the situation. I know many women and children who are left behind as their husbands go off to war. It's horrible to hear the stories...to actually hear each syllable of pain dripping from their words! We have a lot of Navy Seals in my church...it's very hard for them to go out knowing they may not come back to their loved ones. A ship like this is a reminder of who their fighting for...the children of tomorrow. Whether this war is right or wrong makes no difference...it's here and they are really in it...not on a forum talking about it or behind a news desk writing about it. It's reality for them. So please, just pray for our troops and leave the rest behind. Jesus would have thought passed the motivations of the government and loved the people.
That's how I feel about it anyway.

Blessings to you...I really mean no ill will here.

Instead of placing this under the photo on the first post. I will place the edit here...

In this (in first post) photo supplied by Northrop Grumman, a 2005 artists rendering of the USS New York is shown as how it might look steaming through New York Harbor with lower Manhattan and the building that may replace the World Trade Center in the background. With a year to go before it even touches the water, the Navy's amphibious assault ship USS New York has already made history - twice. It was built with 24 tons of scrap steel from the World Trade Center, and it survived Hurricane Katrina. (AP Photo/Northrop Grumman, Tom Freeman

S3,
So, yes you were correct, thanks for pointing that out...Just goes to say how we should check things out before we pass them along....The ship is suppose to launch sometime this year....

No, I hate hypocrisy, and so did does Jesus. I don't claim to be perfect, either. I see hypocrisy and stubborn pride when I look at that picture and the story behind it.

There's not much difference in those other countries, and Jesus is coming to crush them all with a rod of iron. The United States is no exception. The Potter is going to show us all who's in charge real soon!

Jesus called us to "worship" not "warship".

Navy dismisses chaplain
who prayed 'in Jesus' name'

Lt. Gordon James Klingenschmitt

A U.S. Navy chaplain who prayed "in Jesus' name" as his conscience dictated is being ejected from the military service "in retaliation" for his victorious battle to change Navy policy that required religious rites be "non-sectarian."

"This fight cost me everything. My career is over, my family is now homeless, we've lost a million dollar pension, but Congress agreed with me and rescinded the Navy policy, so chaplains are free again to pray in Jesus' name," Chaplain Gordon Klingenschmitt told WND. "My sacrifice purchased their freedom. My conscience is clear, the fight was worth it, and I'd do it all again."

Klingenschmitt, as WND has reported, has fought an extended battle with the Navy over its restrictions on religious expression by its chaplains. He appeared and delivered a public prayer "in Jesus' name" at a White House rally last winter and was court-martialed for that. The Navy convicted him of failing to follow a lawful order because his superior didn't want him praying "in Jesus' name."

He's also launched a legal battle that he said he hopes eventually will result in his reinstatement, alleging the Navy assembled a "civic religion" by ordering its chaplains to pray in a certain way.

(Story continues below)

"There's a Unitarian system of religion that's aimed at Christians," John Whitehead, founder of the The Rutherford Institute, told WND. "It boils down to that. We're seeing it all across the country, with council prayers, kids wanting to mention Jesus. What's going on here is it's generally a move in our government and military to set up a civic religion."

"I think the Supreme Court's going to have to look at the idea of can the government in any of its forms tell people how to pray, set up a basic religion and say you can only do it this way," he said.

Klingenschmitt told WND he'd been delivered a formal letter of reprimand for his appearance at a White House function in March 2006 at which he wore his uniform and prayed "in Jesus' name." For that he was convicted at a special court-martial of violating a lawful order from his commanding officer not to do that.

His appearance was with former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice and WND columnist Judge Roy Moore, who was removed from his office when he refused to follow a federal court order he considered unlawful: to remove a Ten Commandments monument from public property.

Klingenschmitt's $3,000 fine was suspended and because of the issues, Congress got involved and ordered the Navy to rescind that particular policy, and allow chaplains to pray as their "conscience dictates."

In a Congressional report on the situation, members of a conference committee noted, "The House bill contained a provision … to prescribe that military chaplains shall have the prerogative to pray according to the dictates of their conscience, except as must be limited by military necessity, with any such limitation being imposed in the least restrictive manner feasible." That position was adopted with orders that the "Secretary of the Navy rescind Secretary of the Navy Instruction 1730.7C dated February 21, 2006, titled 'Religious Ministry within the Department of the Navy'" and replace it with a policy allowing such freedoms.

Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld also then promised Congress that no chaplain would be punished under the now-cancelled policy, but the Navy's plans to get rid of Klingenschmitt moved forward anyway.

A federal judge in Klingenschmitt's lawsuit also concluded that his termination from the service and the damage that would result would not be "irreparable," so he would not step in at this point, and Klingenschmitt was delivered a Navy letter this week ordering him to move out of his home in conjunction with his removal from the service.

"Access onto all military installations within Navy Region Mid-Atlantic for Lieutenant Gordon J. Klingenschmitt, CHC, USNR, will terminate on January 31, 2007," said the letter from S.W. Wong, who is with the Judge Advocate General's Corp.

While he's battling for reinstatement, Klingenschmitt said, he'll be accepting speaking invitations and can be contacted through his website, and working with supporters Alan Keyes and Rick Scarborough who have assembled an online petition that calls on new Secretary of Defense Robert Gates to honor Rumsfeld's promise that no chaplain would be punished under the old policy.

"U.S. Navy Chaplain Gordon James Klingenschmitt is being unjustly punished for praying in Jesus' name, for quoting Scripture passages in a military chapel, for voicing evangelical messages about Christ while in uniform," the petition says.

"Chaplain Klingenschmitt courageously stood for what is right, and his stand was completely vindicated by Congress. I am calling on you to immediately exonerate him and allow him to continue his outstanding service as a Navy chaplain. Mr. Secretary, you must act! And fast! Otherwise Chaplain Klingenschmitt will be kicked out of the service by Jan. 31, ending an award-winning 15.5-year career. He will lose his pension, health care benefits and be evicted from military housing – and our sailors will lose this faithful vicar of Christ."

"I think the Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates, should keep the promise of his predecessor," the chaplain told WND. "We are homeless, jobless and we are in God's hands."

"My separation is in direct retaliation for my victory on Capitol Hill. This is how the Navy treats whistleblowers," he added.

In the lawsuit filed by the Rutherford Institute, the authors noted that courts in the District of Columbia already have concluded: "What we have here is the government's attempt to override the Constitution and the laws of the land by a directive that clearly interferes with military chaplains' free exercise and free speech rights, as well as those of their congregants."

The case developed when "one Navy Captain decided that he did not like the content of the Chaplain's religious speech during an optionally attended sermon in the chapel," the lawsuit said. Then a Navy investigation showed Klingenschmitt had prayed "in Jesus' name" and had even prayed in public in uniform. For that, the court-martial was held, "ignoring Naval Uniform Regulations that permit chaplains to wear the uniform during public worship."

The lawsuit notes that the Navy is using the chaplain's resignation from one "ecclesiastical endorsement" and acceptance of another from a different church group as its reason for terminating him. However, the lawsuit notes that the Navy's own regulations state that a chaplain "shall" be recertified on request.

In apparent conflict, a letter from J.C. Harvey Jr., a vice-admiral, ordering Klingenschmitt's removal from the Navy, opined that "presentation of a new ecclesiastical endorsement from a qualified Religious Organization does not automatically mandate recertification." The district court judge also found, in ruling against the chaplain, that in the military "public worship" is different from "worshipping in public," so that the Navy's punishment could move forward.

Who is the "Commander in Chief"? And where is his voice?

You know l could find a good story for every bad one but it wouldn't do any good.

People have made their minds up about how aweful this country is and anything that is good won't change their minds. I'm not blind to the bad...I just want to hang on to hope.

I wonder who gets the most excited about Gods judgement? Maybe the ones who never received their punishment...They just go around pretending they've been through the fire but have no clue what that really means so they wish it on people without ever experiancing it themselves.

3Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.

4For his princes were at Zoan, and his ambassadors came to Hanes.

5They were all ashamed of a people that could not profit them, nor be an help nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach.

6The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them.

7For the Egyptians shall help in vain, and to no purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still.

8Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:

9That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD:

10Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

11Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.

12Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:

13Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.

14And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters' vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit.

15For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.

16But ye said, No; for we will flee upon horses; therefore shall ye flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift.

17One thousand shall flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill.

18And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.

19For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.

20And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:

21And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

22Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence.

23Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.

24The oxen likewise and the young asses that ear the ground shall eat clean provender, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan.

25And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.

26Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.

27Behold, the name of the LORD cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:

28And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.

29Ye shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goeth with a pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the mighty One of Israel.

30And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.

31For through the voice of the LORD shall the Assyrian be beaten down, which smote with a rod.

32And in every place where the grounded staff shall pass, which the LORD shall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps: and in battles of shaking will he fight with it. 33For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.

1 Corinthians 10

6Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did. 7Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written: "The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in pagan revelry." 8We should not commit sexual immorality, as some of them did—and in one day twenty-three thousand of them died. 9We should not test the Lord, as some of them did—and were killed by snakes. 10And do not grumble, as some of them did—and were killed by the destroying angel. 11These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come. 12So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall! 13No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

Are you blind to it or do you just want to bath in the satisfaction of the horror to come.

I know when a rebuke is coming from the Father because he always points out the good first. You go through and look for all the judgement scriptures and cut and paste. Then take the whole deal and dump in Bush's lap...I know what he's doing but you're self righteous.

Wow! That is a bit strong. Let's be careful that patrotism for America and the American way does not grow into idolatry. Combine that with false religion that says all religions lead to God and you have a perfect recipe for persecuting and murdering the real body of Christ. It happened to our Lord's body. It may happen again to his body today as well.

History has a way of repeating itself.

Mike, it already has already grown into idolatry, click link http://www.aoc.gov/cc/art/freedom_1.cfm since 1863 this ‘blasphemous idol’ has enlightened our Capitol dome.

Do we know who she is? Revelation 17:9 tells us, she has 6 blasphemous idols painted inside the forehead of the dome, and she JUST HAPPENED TO BE TAKEN DOWN for restoration and cleaning on MOTHERS DAY May 9, 1993!

Is anyone getting the picture, Its total DISREGARD OF THE FIRST COMMANDMENT, !!! We are being primed for judgment.

Yeah, it seems we have a lot of regard in the U.S., and the world for that matter, for the Queen of Heaven.

You know, the body of Christ has many members. Each does its part. I have to appreciate Miki's acknowledgement (reading between the lines) of what is always God's abundant mercy; poured out even in judgement. If only the recipients would fall to their knees in repentance.

Barbaro And Terri Schiavo

"If the Republicans had just waited and tried to save Barbaro instead of Terri Schiavo, do you realize how things could be different in Washington today? What a political miscalculation!" -Rush Limbaugh

Dear Friends,

Of course Mr. Limbaugh was speaking tongue-in-cheek. When word of racehorse Barbaro's life-threatening injury made headlines, donations poured in from across the country raising more than $1.2 million for a fund in his name. When treatment was unable to save his life, the media labeled Barbaro a hero, calling his death a tragedy, and the public wept and mourned.

And yet every day, in hospitals right here in the heart of America, human beings, like Terri Schiavo, are starved, dehydrated and suffocated to death simply because they are disabled in some way. The national media turns a blind eye to their suffering, while a largely uneducated public goes about their daily lives as though nothing were out of place.

Something is sadly amiss in America when, in this nation founded on the principles of LIFE, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, all the facts seem to indicate that the public will rally around an animal while human beings suffer and die silently and needlessly.

IPB Image

As I write this letter, a debate rages in a Texas hospital over the life of a 15 month-old baby boy who became ill in December, was hospitalized and needed breathing assistance. He was placed on a ventilator as his family fought to save his life. Just last week his hospital informed the family that they believed this child has "no hope for meaningful recovery" and called a meeting of the hospital's "ethics committee" to get permission to remove his life support.

Understand, this little boy is not immediately dying. He has a life-threatening condition that requires treatment. His mother desperately wants her son to be treated, as does the entire family. There is no dispute - everyone who loves this child wants him to receive the best care possible. And yet it is not up to them.

As difficult as it is to comprehend, it is absolutely true that in Texas and a number of other states, a hospital and NOT the patient or his family has the power to choose life or death.

Like many Americans, I was saddened to hear of Barbaro's death...but it is beyond my comprehension that the same media which openly mourned the loss of a horse can so cavalierly ignore the life and death struggle of vulnerable human beings. These patients and their families are the real heroes on the American landscape, and their deaths are a tragedy beyond measure.

We at the Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation are committed to stand up for the value and dignity of their lives. At this very moment we are establishing a nationwide lay and professional support network to help families who contact the Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation and are facing life-threatening situations. Our goal is to ally ourselves with these hurting families and assist them in their crisis.

But our help is not possible without your support. Our costs to provide services to hurting families facing these life and death situations like the child in Texas is over $200.00 per day. Those funds come from friends like you who share our belief in the dignity of human life.

Please help us help these most vulnerable members of the human family.

As the mainstream media editorialize outgoing Florida Governor Jeb Bush, I can’t help but compare their opposition to the 34-minute execution of convicted killer Angel Diaz with their support of the 14-day execution of my sister, Terri Schiavo....

If Only My Sister Were a Convicted Murderer

BY BOBBY SCHINDLER

As the mainstream media editorialize outgoing Florida Governor Jeb Bush, I can’t help but compare their opposition to the 34-minute execution of convicted killer Angel Diaz with their support of the 14-day execution of my sister, Terri Schiavo....

Orlando Sentinel, 12-28-06

[Governor Jeb Bush's] intervention in the Terri Schiavo fiasco, without even talking to her husband, was unconscionable.

News-press.com, 12-19-06

Governor Jeb Bush was wise to suspend executions and order the review of lethal injection procedures after the bungled execution of a convicted murderer last week.

Miami Herald, 1-8-07

It will be difficult for the public to forget [Bush's] disgraceful performance in the Terri Schiavo case, just one of a number of legal battles in which the ACLU engaged his administration because of his posture that public policy "should err on the side of life.''

FloridaToday.com, 12-20-06

Governor Jeb Bush was correct to impose a hold on death warrants in Florida following the gruesome execution of Angel Diaz.....

Convicted murderer Diaz was put to death by lethal injection, taking 34 minutes to die.... That likely violates the constitutional mandate against cruel and unusual punishment....

An American Bar Association study... cited more than a dozen glaring flaws [with Florida's death penalty process]. Among them...unjustly imposes the death penalty on persons with severe mental disabilities.

Florida unjustly imposes the death penalty on persons with severe mental disabilities.

Orlando Sentinel, 12-31-06

... Mr. Bush... insisted on intervening in the case of brain-damaged Terri Schiavo.

The Ledger (Associated Press), 12-17-06

Article title: "Doctors: Botched execution likely slow, painful"

Death penalty foes have for years warned of a worst-case scenario in which an inmate being executed by lethal injection could remain conscious, experiencing severe pain as he slowly dies. That day may finally have come.

"It really sounds like [Angel Diaz] was tortured to death," said Jonathan Groner, associate professor of surgery at the Ohio State Medical School.... "My impression is that it would cause an extreme amount of pain."...

[W]itnesses reported movement of Diaz as long as 24 minutes after the first injection, with him grimacing, blinking, licking his lips, blowing and attempting to mouth words. At one point, about midway through the process, he turned his head toward witnesses....

Tampa Tribune, 1-31-07

Family members - and later state lawmakers, with Bush's support - tried to force [Terri's] sustenance. Courts stopped the Legislature, and later Bush, from ordering a feeding tube reinserted..... Despite overwhelming public distaste over the government's intervention - by a 2-1 ratio in one poll - Bush remains unrepentant.

I don’t believe in the deliberate killing of any human being.

But if the press is so worried about cruel and unusual punishment of convicted murderers by lethal injection, perhaps they would consider it better to starve and dehydrate them to death.

Because as the press constantly reminded us, death by dehydration and starvation of innocent disabled people who have committed no crime is a “peaceful and painless” way to die.

Bobby Schindler is the brother of Terri Schiavo, the disabled woman who was dehydrated and starved to death by court order in a Florida nursing home in 2005.

Yep, she's getting ready to fall....

Miki
mmddll...

Why do you insist on turning this into a political forum?

You keep grinding the gears.
mmddll
What's your problem? Oh, I see...you're driving in neutral.

"So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth."

I wasn't even talking to you. Somebody mentioned horses and mercy, so I ran with it. If you don't see the connection, don't blame me for your blindness.

Miki

"So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth."

This is what you people do who come on dragging your political agenda with you. If we don't see everything your way then we're the luke warm church that's going to get spued out.

Even if what you say is mostly true l don't see things from the same perspective as you. You may not have been talking to me but this is an open forum. If you don't want people to comment on what you say then send a pm.
mmddll
I have no problem with differing opinions. It's your constant personal attacks against me when I said nothing at all against you. You accused me of hating America and then accused me of throwing stones, when we all know that cliche is false (Jesus was speaking of real stones and real death) and used by those who won't repent and to accuse others of "hate speech" because they can't bare to "read between the lines".

"you people"?

what "people" is that, pray tell. I'm not following "you people's" orders...

It seems to me you're just trying to bait me into an argument. It ends here. Get behind Jesus Christ the Lord, Satan.

Have the last word if you wish. It doesn't mean that you win, though.

Miki
Ok...I'll have the last word. Isn't hate murder? Have you ever participated in the fruits of this nation either for good or evil?

What we focus on is where our heart is. What are you focusing on? I'm not Satan mmddll...nor am l speaking for him when l encourage people to think on the things Jesus said to think on. Goodness...justice and truth...

When l tell people to remember the things Jesus has brought us out of as David did when he waited in the hills for his enemy to find him.

HAIL WHAT'S GOOD!!!!!!! Leave the bad to the Lord....There are more than 10 righteous in this country.

Until the last curtain falls l won't give up hope for our nation because God will bring many out of the fire.
When a good Father spanks his child he quickly loves him again...

When l say 'you people' l know it's because l'm in for another season of America bashing. People who have read my posts know that if they start up without declaring what great things God has done for and through our country it gets me churning.

About what? Those who are leading and who have led ....a life for God...
and accepting his grace for us and encouraging others to do the same while the door's still open.

You're technique makes people want to give up. You make us think about everything that's awful and depressing...discouraging us. It is like throwing stones.

God told us how hard it would be to be a Christian in the last days. I'm saying don't make it harder by bringing in the politics of the world.

God's using it.

We know judgement is coming soon and anybody who pretends not to see it is a liar...
The writing is on the wall.

What's good about Miki? Shall we curse her everyday by telling her what's wrong from sunrise to sunset?
People really do that you know. The Pharisees who can't see beyond their own rules. The ones they don't carry out themselves.

What's wrong with America is wrong with the world. But have mercy on those that are still crawling to the cross even though you've apparently made it and have remove you're own board.
