Scary dream .Please help
« on: February 17th, 2007, 12:56am »

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I dreamed I was substitute teaching a class of fifth graders. This was my first day with this class. I had been moved to this class from 1st grade. We were in a new building and my class was on the 54th floor! We had to ride in rollercoaster like chairs to get to our classroom. It was horrifying riding up that high. The children were scared and I was worried that some of them might fall out of their chairs,or the machine might malfunction.I hated the ride up so high.We were on the top floor .
I was amazed at the classroom. It was a square shaped room with no sides except a back wall. There was no ceiling. You could walk to the edge of the room and look down at the ground if you dared. We had no protection from the elements and I was afraid for myself and the students. In fact the building was shaped like the twin towers in New York.
I don't remember saying very much to my students because I was afraid to get out of my seat.I remember being happy that my chair was against the only wall in the classroom .
My students were not as uncomfortable as I was because they were use to being in this classroom.I remember talking to them about staying in there seats.
The students were from a class I had actually had in first grade and I recognized some of them.
The principal was visiting the class on the 53rd floor and I couldn't wait to tell her that I was quiting. She said she was sorry but that she understood.I worried about who they would get on such short notice but I could not take being in such an unsafe environment. I also asked why a school would dare put children's life at risk like that.I don't remember her answer ,but she was proud of the school and not worried at all..
When the day was finally over we took the horrifying ride back down to the ground. I help get the students loaded on the bus and went directly in another part of the building on the ground, and talked to the asst. principal who asked me to please stay. I told him I hated to leave the children without a teacher but I couldn't stay.I was retired and didn't have to work so this was my last day at the school.I was thinking I had been foolish to work all of my retirement except 3 months.I had not minded working ,but being up that high was too much for me.
When I got ready to leave I ran into my friend,a minister, that worked in a normal building across town. She was very sympathetic and agreed with my decision.
On my way to my car I realized I didn't have my pocketbook.
My friend and I looked for it and it was right where I left it in the cafeteria. My friend and I left together and I was anxious to tell my husband about my gruelling day and that I would not be going back to that school.
I was breathless when I awakened. This was a very strange dream.I am retired and I don't do any substitute work at all.
I have dreamed I was on a rollercoaster type ride that seated me and a group of children on a field trip to a movie very high up,and I was terrified because we were seated so high up.These were very young children that were frightened as well.
Has anyone dreamed of being up high on a tall building like this? Please help aa this dream is puzzling me.
Thanks in advance.

Remember the mirror.
Your mind is looking into the mirror, seeing the past, and you are having an 'astral' experience and you have nothing else to project onto the screen of your mind except what has been your past. What you have done is the first picture; what you believe is the second picture; what you have seen, heard, or felt is the third picture.
This dream that you had is only the three pictures coming together as one.

The first picture:

The students were from a class I had actually had in first grade and I recognized some of them.

That is what you have done.

The second picture:

The children were scared and I was worried that some of them might fall out of their chairs,or the machine might malfunction.I hated the ride up so high.We were on the top floor .

** You believed that as a teacher, you had ridden the roller-coster to the top floor. And this is where your memory enters:

I was amazed at the classroom. It was a square shaped room with no sides except a back wall. There was no ceiling. You could walk to the edge of the room and look down at the ground if you dared. We had no protection from the elements and I was afraid for myself and the students. In fact the building was shaped like the twin towers in New York

** Did you ever have a tree house or climb a tree and sit on a limb or platform when you were young and look over the sides, Oh what a feeling! If it wasn't too high, you'd jump! But, your memory switches to a picture of the Twin Towers in New York, Oh, what fear and pain came from there! And here:

I also asked why a school would dare put children's life at risk like that.I don't remember her answer ,but she was proud of the school and not worried at all..

Wasn't there a daycare center in the Twin Towers? Now did you watch the film 'Farenheit: 911?' That is a 'spirit of blame' that was filling the air around the time of that movie. With that spirit of blame there was extreme fear. The heat of fear was seeking a point of release, something to cool it down.
**
When the day was finally over we took the horrifying ride back down to the ground. I help get the students loaded on the bus and went directly in another part of the building on the ground, and talked to the asst. principal who asked me to please stay. I told him I hated to leave the children without a teacher but I couldn't stay.I was retired and didn't have to work so this was my last day at the school.I was thinking I had been foolish to work all of my retirement except 3 months.I had not minded working ,but being up that high was too much for me.

This really is you telling on yourself:

'. . . my class was on the 54th floor! We had to ride in rollercoaster like chairs to get to our classroom.'

'It was horrifying riding up that high.'

'The principal was visiting the class on the 53rd floor and I couldn't wait to tell her that I was quiting.'

'. . . the asst. principal who asked me to please stay.'

'I told him I hated to leave the children without a teacher but I couldn't stay'

We are all tired of the mess that we feel we are in and we are looking for ways to end it. Most everybody on THIS SIDE of the world, the West, goes by the belief that suicide is wrong. The proof that suicide is wrong is what happened to the Twin Towers in NYC on 9-11-01. That is one lesson of 9/11. That was the homework of a terrible lesson that the 'psyche' of the Eastern World was teaching the 'psyche' Western World. If you piece together all of the happenings before 9-11, such as the ships and the barracks overseas, it came home. The students were us, we in this US.
Is that something that you have taught?
You feel that you rose above your principle of life and that you now want to quit.
You also feel that there is a secondary principle ( the asst. principal ) behind the meaning of all of this.

Yes, Grace, there is a priciple of life and as a teacher you have a duty to instruct the children in the way they are to go. Thank you for your being. And there will come a time when time is no more. It should not be a thing that causes fear.

When I got ready to leave I ran into my friend,a minister, that worked in a normal building across town. She was very sympathetic and agreed with my decision.
On my way to my car I realized I didn't have my pocketbook.

It shows you that SCHOOLS ARE DANGEROUS! The worst of it is that despite OBVIOUS SIGNS OF DANGER, today's kids DON'T SEE IT; to the contrary, they are USED to it! You see it because you are the generation from BEFORE the real danger. ohmy.gif

God is being taken from our schools. It is a rocky and dangerous ride for unknowing kids and teachers as well. mad.gif

That's all that pops to my mind at the moment... sleep.gif

Hi Grace54, The Holy Spirit showed me a little different and yet somewhat the same interpretation of your dream. Just thought I would share. This is a warning and teaching from the Lord through the guidance of the Holy Spirit for you and all believers that seek a close spiritual relationship with the Lord. Not to seek after signs and wonders but seek a true spiritual relationship with the Lord through the teaching and guidance of the Holy Spirit. By prayer and reading the Word.

The children refer to believers that are still fed on the milk of the Word. The Holy Spirit will feed them on the meat as they grow spiritually. You are a substitute teacher because it is the Holy Spirit that will ultimately teach and guide believers in their walk and feed them on the meat. The tall building represents levels of progression towards a goal within a church. The classroom of children refers to a small group within the church.

'''...the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you." John 14:17
"...when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. And you also will bear witness." John 15:26-27
But you have received the Holy Spirit,* and he lives within you, so you don't need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you all things, and what he teaches is true-it is not a lie. So continue in what he has taught you, and continue to live in Christ. 1 John 2:27

The rollercoaster refers to a ministry that is excitement oriented rather than faith based. They are involved more in signs and wonders.

Act 8:28 and he was now returning. Seated in his carriage, he was reading aloud from the book of the prophet Isaiah. Act 8:29 The Holy Spirit said to Philip, "Go over and walk along beside the carriage." Act 8:30 Philip ran over and heard the man reading from the prophet Isaiah; so he asked, "Do you understand what you are reading?" Act 8:31 The man replied, "How can I, when there is no one to instruct me?" And he begged Philip to come up into the carriage and sit with him. Act 8:32 The passage of Scripture he had been reading was this: "He was led as a sheep to the slaughter. And as a lamb is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth. Act 8:33 He was humiliated and received no justice. Who can speak of his descendants? For his life was taken from the earth."* Act 8:34 The eunuch asked Philip, "Was Isaiah talking about himself or someone else?" Act 8:35 So Philip began with this same Scripture and then used many others to tell him the Good News about Jesus. Act 8:36 As they rode along, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, "Look! There's some water! Why can't I be baptized?"* Act 8:37 Act 8:38 He ordered the carriage to stop, and they went down into the water, and Philip baptized him. Act 8:39 When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away. The eunuch never saw him again but went on his way rejoicing. Act 8:40 Meanwhile, Philip found himself farther north at the city of Azotus! He preached the Good News there and in every city along the way until he came to Caesarea.

The children were in a square classroom because this particular teaching within this church is not open to the truth. They have a form of Godliness yet they are powerless, worldly, meaning without the Holy Spirits guidance.

2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

The wall is behind you and your desk because it is your protection and defense of the truth of the Word through the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit concerning a spiritual relationship with the Lord. The children in your dream are not as uncomfortable because this is what they have been taught and their eyes are blinded to the truth.

"I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever, the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you." John 14:16-17

I believe the principal represents the pastor or leader of this church.

Your friend represents the Holy Spirit and your faithfulness to Jesus. Your pocketbook represents something valuable, the treasure of your heart which is your love for the Lord.

Mat 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

The cafeteria symbolises a church that is serving a very methodical preaching of the word. Teaching what they think people want instead of what they need.

Jhn 6:26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.

Jhn 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

Mat 25:35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

Thanks to you all. I have a lot to take to my secret closet in prayer.I am hearing that this dream covers not only my spiritual assignment ,but my care and concern for my completed secular assignment. I have hopefully finished the secular assignment, and am being called to a brand new spiritual calling.Amazing and also still a little scary.
Please keep praying all of you and letting God use you to bless his Saints.Anything else the Holy Spirit speaks I am humbly willing to hear. 1dsz5e4.gif
