I have a vague recollection of a dream from last night. I was pregnant - and carrying real high...then the following week I went to church - and one of the women there ( who really is pregnant) said to me - looks like you don't have long to go - you've dropped quite a bit from last week.....I said to her you have no idea how close I am - I think I was experiencing labour pains at the time!


The person who said this to me is, one of those steadfast types of christians - in my opinion. Her and her husband are like major tentpoles in a huge tent. They're that dependable. And a lovely couple. When I found out they were pregnant (they have 3 girls already) - I was at home in the garden and I got the verse - unto us a child is born - came inside to look it up - unto us a son is given....Isaiah 9:6 (I think from memory). I'd had a thing in the bathroom last year about my baby being called Isaiah Luke - the next baby - not this one - and the date June 2008. My friend from church is due in September ( the 9th month) this year. I also looked up Luke 9:6 - and it's where the apostley types go off healing and spreading the good news.


Anyway - not having any idea of what pregnancy could mean - I looked it up on a secular site.

So - going from a secular site - the 'tidings' for this dream seem quite positive.

Does anyone else get similar impressions in the 'religious' sense

Hi MadMikkie, The pregnancy represent new spiritual growth within you. Experiencing the labor pains symbolises going through some trials. Having just read over your prayer request concerning anxiety attacks, I am wondering if these two things may be connected. Possibly spiritual attacks. The enemy hates it when we grow in our spiritual relationship with the Father. Just some thoughts. I'll be praying.

Hey HLA - yes - that's what I'm hoping it is. As I said similarly said to Laurel in a PM - by me helping a person who walked away from the church years ago - well - it would stick the pepper up satan's nose now wouldn't it. Why bother with the helpee....when you can go in and muck with the helper. I haven't heard from my helpee in a few days now - and I've not had much of a chance to do anything with his writings except for dump them in aword doco to paragraph up before passing on to my pastor as he requested......but to me - that's what makes the most sense. Then again, who knows how the human brain works sometimes. My 'everything's going to be alright' smell came before the nerves kicked in proper - the dream - I'm trying to remember - before my 'first' real episode again.
