Jacob...oh Jacob...

He's about to turn them "inside out"...

The Lords work that has been hidden in plain site is about to be revealed.

You know...the work in glass houses.

Jacob knows this is coming and doesn't fight back? Why is this?
Why oh why is this?! unsure.gif unsure.gif sad.gif

Tell me the answer so I'll know.

Please! Tell me the answer so I'll know...

Does the Lord continue to blind their eyes?
Miki
Yes...but only in part...and yet l can't find consolation...
dennis mann
Before the Cross, only a Few Jews (the Remnant) believed God.

Since the Cross, only a Few Jews accepted Jesus as Christ.

Since the Cross, only a Few Gentiles have accepted Jesus as Christ and Savior.

The Gentiles are no better than the Jews, and vice-versa.

On the other hand, Romans does say: God put a hardening on National Israel. Romans 11;25.
Why?
Israel had the MOST Light, Miracles, love, the best Preacher (Jesus), the Shekinah Glory, the Scriptures (in the Jewish language), the Prophets, .............in other words, if anyone should have excelled in Godliness, it SHOULD have been Israel.
And yet, the Gentiles did as well as the Jews. on a percentage basis.

From whom much is given , much is Required. And Israel woefully under-performed.

And we Gentiles have learned much from israel's mistake. We learned that: If we reject jesus, GREAT punishment will follow.

Israel is the Church's school-house. We learn from them.
Hallelujah!
Lord, please save Israel!

so the Lord can show Himself strong? Mighty to deliver? Faithful to save?
Miki
Julie...because he set the table but they wouldn't come... sad.gif

So the poor dirty Gentiles came instead and he's shown himself mighty through the least of these.

I'm not consoled...

I'm in the present and feet are walking by themselves.

I look down and see them moving and l wonder how? sad.gif

Sorry..The wind of the old days in blowing through my hair...
Miki
I got the word l was looking for.

The word for Jacob is Blindsided!
George
28 "For they are a nation void of counsel, Nor is there any understanding in them.
29 Oh, that they were wise, that they understood this, That they would consider their latter end!
30 How could one chase a thousand, And two put ten thousand to running, Unless their Rock had sold them, And the Lord had surrendered them?
Miki
But we also know the unending promise. (s) The scriptures that say "But if"...

What's deeper in a man's heart then that? I know each case is different.

How about tempting God? sad.gif It's a long study...
Miki
Jacob is about to have their own "on the road to" Bethel experience!

This is the hope...

For every man..to have an encounter of their own and not rely on what there father told them

but to see with there own eyes the provision...

For men to have confirmation of purpose

and that purpose to enlighten the road ahead! Let it be so God!...

(A wrestling match will soon follow.)
George
29 Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
Miki
Yes it's true GL. It's true.
Miki
This word l got...blindsided...It means while you are looking at one thing (focused) it comes from another direction.
Miki
I'm starting to understand this word l received more now..."Inside out" What's been hidden by the calloused sinful heart...that little spark and candle. (This is part of the Pacific NW storm post...)

Lot's of times we can't see what's going on on the inside of someone (or nations) because of appearances...But He's turning.....

Blindsidedness will become eyeopening.

You are blessed to be a blessing...this has been ringing through my mind for you Val and anyone here whom loves the LORD our GOD and each other....and it is not a coincedence that the Spirit of the LORD lead me back to this post...this verse has been ringing through my pea pickin brain for a week now.

Just think about it for a second. The God of all the Heavens and Earth came down and made himself a lttle lower than angels. He came down to sacrafice his life to give us LIFE IN HIM.

He is Living within us...the HOLY SPIRIT.
When we hand something over to another in Giving without wanting gain....but giving joyfully without even expecting or wanting reward...just out of the gift of giving that GOD gives us....by his POWER without Jesus we are lost and confused with his Power comes Grace and Humility and love.

Just think on this...first comes God's love. GOD LOVED US FIRST.For God so loved the WORD that he gave his only begotten son.

The son then gives us all an opportunity and priviledge to work and obey and joyfully to surrender and be a part of his Kingdom through HIS LOVE and HIS GRACE and FREE GIFT TO US ALL.

What an exciting opportunity to share the LOVE OF GOD. even in ministry to HAND THAT OVER to ONE WHOM NEEDS TO KNOW THAT THEY ARE NEEDED IN HIS KINGDOM TOO...we gladly give it to them not of ourselves but through the HOLY SPIRIT...not for our GLORY but for God's glory. the mentoring concept...of passing it on, and the multiplying for Christ is the TRUE FISHERMAN....and sends us forth and gives us opportunity and the words to speak and the gift of grace to share...HE IS ALL IN ALL

this person then realizes wow they gave me opportunity to show GOD's LOVE passing the ministry of God's grace and HIS WORD and TRUTH by laying it all down to Jesus and yet obeying by just walking through it all..all the storms that come against us letting go of our control knowing the PROVISION and VICTORY is alreay won and God will lead us where he will when he wants and where he wants and to whom he wants..not of me because HE IS THE LIFE and RESURRECTION of every soul surrendered TO HIM...just as GOD gave Jesus and Jesus gave us...what a concept...PAYING IT FORWARD. and the multiplying of his goodness and mercy and truth.

to give without wanting to be recognised, to give because the Father has given us GRACE TO GIVE and GRACE TO LOVE...what a wonderful goodness of our Father whom loves the son, and the son loves the Father, and the Father and the Son LOVE YOU, and ME. GIVING AND RECEIVING HEALING THE POWER OF GOD.

Now I can understand, that Elijah gave it to Elisha....he wanted him to experience the JOY OF GIVING without fear. THE JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH.

and as ABRAHAM was given the seed that LEAD TO CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD...he couldn't go over into the promise land...and GOD gave him peace to place it forward to future generations for the KING OF KINGS TO come, riding on a donkey.

JESUS GAVE HIS ALL FOR US...ALL HIS LOVE, MERCY AND TRUTH

He is walking right in front of us....when we reach him the TRUTH IS REVEALED through his WONDOUROUS RIGHTEOUSNESS AND TRUTH AND LIFE...
when we give we receive...when we reach out we forget about self but are embraced in HIS LOVE and POWER.

and therefore he tells us it is better to give than receive..for by giving is when we are rewarded and the HEALING BEGINS...

much love from the LORD our GOD TO YOU AND ALL HERE...blessings in the Name of JESUS OUR LORD and SAVIOR.

Your original post said about turning them inside out.....I haven't read all the posts I got as far as where I've quoted you - but this just kinda popped in to my head and I'm stillt rying to 'clarify it'.

To accept Jesus as the Son of God - the Messiah - we NEED to be turned inside out. To give ourselves over fully - not all but a little bit - but ALL as in TOTALLY - every little piece of us - we need to be turned inside out - scrubbed clean so to speak so that we have admitted all, committed all. If we do not admit to all of our sins etc - then we are not fully His. We may be saved - but we have not confessed the truth of ourselves, so how can we honestly confess the truth of Jesus Christ.

I am presuming that Israel is Jacob - could be a bad presumption - but Israel or at least Jacob - will be 'scourged' - is that the right word - inside and out to not only bring God back into their lives, but begin to accept that Jesus is who He said and who His believers said - He was. Jacob will admit to past sins and in doing so will be made whole in the eyes of God.

Just my 2 bob worth.

That is a nice little green house. I love the way it is built. Some one also knows how to take pictures. That's a well taken picture.

It's funny...I was perusing for something else under this topic (look up your redemption draweth nigh) related to the topic "Vivid Dream" and l came across this and thought l would post it here in reference to the last sentence...inside out! blush.gif

Just as Jacob turned his face from Christ...So Christ turned his face from Jacob. And the last of those 6 hours on the cross where the worst.

In the days ahead the last will be the worst...but then..as with the first resurrection...hope will spring alive. When all seems lost many will recognize their lost opportunity.

The song says;

Long ago He blessed the earth.....(through the Jew the Christian came to be) A life of homeless wandering
Cast out in sorrow's way (the wilderness experience)

Then the song reflects on Jesus. You can read this Jewish Christian experience through the whole song if you choose.

But what God was showing me is that he will turn his face away in the darkest hour. But it's in the turning away the hope is reborn...Just like Christs death...

Many will be brought low but not lost. Once again through Jacob (now Israel) many Gentiles will find the light of life.

This picture for me is so poignant... Centuries of grief and pain...

Like a child who'd dressed himself...shirt turned inside out and backwards...now righted and cleansed...Seeing what it's really suppose to look like!
