The Sun…

On December 8, 2006 a major flare on the Sun generated what scientists called a solar tsunami.

The tsunami-like shock wave, formally called a Moreton wave, rolled across the hot surface, destroying two visible filaments of cool gas on opposite sides of the visible face of the Sun.

Astronomers using a prototype of a new solar telescope in New Mexico recorded the action.

"These large scale 'blast' waves occur infrequently, however, are very powerful," said K. S. Balasubramaniam of the National Solar Observatory (NSO) in Sunspot, NM, "They quickly propagate in a matter of minutes covering the whole Sun, sweeping away filamentary material."

It is unusual to see such an event from a ground-based observatory, Balasubramaniam said. And it was also unusual that it occurred near solar minimum, when the Sun is at its least active during an 11-year cycle… (article)

The explosive death of a massive star has broken the record for longest-lived light show. Observations from NASA’s Swift satellite have revealed a so-called gamma-ray burst for which the afterglow remained visible for more than 125 days.

From December 8, 2006 to March 8, 2007 in a span of 80 days there has been as seen from the heavens no less in chronological order, signs of the Sun, the Moon, and the Stars; that is amazing... just as it was written nearly 2000 years ago has spoken by the very words of Jesus Christ to his apostles.

I can't remember witnessing so many signs from the heavens such as these and be visible to all in a such a short span of time, and now one day later after the explosive death of a massive star… we now witness this unbelievable show from space...

Alien Volcano...

March 9, 2007: Andy Cheng has seen it all. The scientist from Johns Hopkins' Applied Physics Lab has worked on the Galileo mission to Jupiter, the Cassini mission to Saturn, the NEAR mission to asteroid 433 Eros and many others during his decades-long career. Alien vistas are old hat to him.

But even he was amazed when he laid eyes on this photo of Io's Tvashtar volcano, taken Feb. 28th by the New Horizons spacecraft:

Are you ready? If Jesus were to return today, would He be your "Blessed Hope" (Titus 2:11-14) or would He be your "Holy Terror" (Revelation 6:12-17)? If you have never received Him as your Lord and Savior, now is the time to act. Repent of your sins, and call upon the name of the Lord that you might be saved (Acts 2:14-39).

And. if you are a Christian, are you living as if Jesus might return any minute? Have you committed your life to holiness? Are you praying for the lost and witnessing the Lord when you have an opportunity?

-Thank you Brother for this very interesting find!!! It's bluish green to me but blue looks more of a dominant shade. And there's no visible tail as do most comets exhibit. I comment on this because of what I think is it's relevance to the Hopi prohecy of the coming of the Blue Kachina, to them a herald of very big things to come.

You guys have missed the obvious.

What does the image look like to you. I mean, really look like?

It's an indian head dress. It IS the Saquasohuh Kachina of Hopi prophecy, which goes,

"When the Saquasohuh Kachina makes its appearance in the heavens, the Fifth World will emerge."

The Kachina is a Hopi Indian spirit which is appearing in the heavens as a sign to indicate the changes to come.

Also, if you do some research into the Mayan calendar, it is supposed to end in the year 2012, but there is a five year period which they call "No time" which will be a very turbulent time for us. If you happen to notice that 2012 minus 5 = 2007. We're at the start of "no time".

Things are about to get very interesting!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Saddam is really Mabus and Gaia man is correct, this latest news is of huge concern and a big sign. Gaia man saw a huge war erupting after the execution of Saddam Hussein. That vision was seen more than a year ago. Looks like Gaia man is going to take another hit. I hope though he's wrong if we are still here when the war erupts. Who knows if we'll be taken out from here before the outbreak of the Great War and the coming of the comet. If the comet swan is that comet which fits in well with the Blue Kachina of the Hopis, then maybe our departure is in the offing, I HOPE AND PRAY SO. The Nov. 8 Cheshvan could truly be very very significant.

Geologist Jim Berkland, preparedness expert Stan Deyo, and physicist James McCanney joined together for a roundtable discussion on current and upcoming earth changes. The panelists concurred that there is a correlation between solar activity and earthquakes, weather and other planetary phenomena.

McCanney commented that the sun is in a volatile cycle and combined with that there is evidence of human weather manipulation, exciting or triggering recent cataclysms. Further, comets coming from the south and hitting the sun directly, indicate "something large is out there" that has been affecting our sun since 2001, he said.

Berkland noted that there is a lot of repression of scientific data that doesn't fit with the prevailing thought. He noted that an eclipse that will pass over Turkey and China in March 2006 could be associated with a possible quake, citing how a recent eclipse passed over Pakistan shortly before a large earthquake occurred there. He also mentioned that a new book about his life, The Man Who Predicts Earthquakes will be coming out soon.

Deyo believes there are signs that we are in the midst of a cyclic period of events that will change the face of the Earth before it's through. He sees 8-10 years of violent weather ahead, and in the short term, major quake or volcanic activity hitting somewhere on the West Coast of the U.S. The planet is warming up because of solar changes, he said. Related to this, Deyo shared an account of visiting with a Hopi elder who told him of a prophesied time when the sun will be so hot it will ignite grass.

PLUTO ECLIPSE: Astronomers from Texas to California with be watching Pluto
Sunday morning, March 18th, when the dwarf planet sweeps across a red, 15th
magnitude star in the constellation Sagittarius. Pluto's atmosphere was
discovered as a result of such an occultation in 1985. When a star goes behind
Pluto, its light is not extinguished abruptly, as if hidden by a sharp edge, but
rather gradually--a sign that Pluto is surrounded by a fuzzy layer of gas.

Astronomers now use stellar occultations to monitor Pluto's atmosphere. Pluto
is receding from the Sun and at some point it may become so cold that its
atmosphere freezes and falls to the ground. NASA's New Horizons spacecraft is
rushing to catch Pluto (ETA: 2015) before that happens. On March 18th, we'll
find out if Pluto's atmosphere is still "up in the air."

Amateur astronomers with large backyard telescopes and CCD cameras should be

ASTEROID FLYBY: Asteroid 2006 VV2 is about to fly past Earth. Tonight, March 30th, the 2 km-wide space rock will streak through the constellation Leo only 2 million miles away glowing like a 10th magnitude star. Although the asteroid will not be visible to the unaided eye, it should be an easy target for backyard telescopes equipped with CCD cameras. A movie of 2006 VV2 flying past spiral galaxy M81, featured on today's edition of http://Spaceweather.com , shows what a small telescope can accomplish. The Americas are favored for tonight's flyby, especially southern California where 2006 VV2 will glide almost directly overhead at the moment of closest approach around 11 pm PDT.

Note: There is no danger of a collision. At a distance of 2 million miles, the asteroid will be almost 9 times farther away than the Moon. The encounter is interesting because it affords astronomers an opportunity to study a large near-Earth asteroid at fairly close range. Many professional observatories will be taking data, including NASA radars, which will ping 2006 VV2 to refine its orbit and learn more about its shape and composition. Praise God for The Words Jesus spoke that have been written in The Bible...Jesus said, there is "NOTHING CONCEALED that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be MADE KNOWN." Whatever God requires as obedience from HIS child, is written in His word, and HIS Spirit will interpret God's word to those who are HIS child. Amen? Luke 12:2, Matthew 10:26, 27, John 16:7-15, 1 John 2:27.

Jesus taught using parables in order to keep "hidden" until it was time, "the mystery" contained in His death, burial and resurrection.....but once He arose with victory over sin, death and the devil.....those parables were opened to the understanding of those who "heard the word," that allowed the "seeds sown," to fall into good ground! 1 Corinthians 2:7, 8.

Now God surrounds us with literal images we can use to encourage one another to understand HOW man can enter into God's rest, turning our burdens and cares over to God for HIM to take care of.....while we LIVE IN FAITH, while we live IN The Spirit no longer concerned with this world and its world system. 1 John 2:15.

2 Peter 3:3-5, reveals men on earth will be saying before Jesus returns, Jesus promised to come back, well where is He? They will be saying, every thing continues as it did in our parents day and our grandparents thought Jesus would return in their day......yet.....WHERE IS HE???

Remember dear ones...Jesus said as recorded in Luke 17:20, 21...The Kingdom of God isn't ushered in with visible signs...you won't be able to say 'here it is or its over there,' for The Kingdom of God is WITHIN [and among] you."

KNOW ye not that you are The Temple of The Holy Ghost? 1 Corinthians 3:16, 17, and WHO destroys God's Temple, HIM will God destroy? DO you HEAR what The Spirit is saying regarding these verses?

Those who come against a child of God, GOD WILL destroy...so this is why God gave His child His HOUSE RULES to LOVE as He loves, forgive others as we have been forgiven, so the dark force will not be able to hold "the one coming against us," in darkness, headed for eternity in hell.......we are to FORGIVE so satan's power will no longer be able to hold the one offending or coming against "God's Temple," in bondage to 'its' lies!!! AMEN?

2 Peter 3 goes on to reveal WHY God has not yet put an "end to all things," for in verse 9 we read...GOD IS NOT willing that any perish...God is being patient in order for MORE PEOPLE to hear Jesus loves them so they can repent of their sins, be forgiven, become SEALED BY The Holy Spirit, which is The Born Again experience that allows man to become a permanent part of God's family, children adopted by faith through God's grace into The Kingdom, where we grow daily, as led by The Spirit.

Born again means we are given a NEW heart of flesh, a NEW nature, we've become a NEW creation, we have a NEW wineskin/bottle/heart AND the OLD heart of stone IS removed and cast into "the deep sea of God's forgetfullness" along with our sins that will never again be brought before our face by our Father...its satan who remembers our sins and throws them into our face to discourage us! AMEN?

The Holy Spirit teaches us God's HOUSE RULES and how to live in love as God is love...The Spirit tends the garden of our heart where The Fruits of the Spirit matures...and once we are mature in God's family,we are no longer children tossed to and fro by man's doctrines......

....but STRONG in faith that has been tested through the testing times that produce patience when our TRUST IN GOD was developed in order to THRUST US into God's timelessness as The Booster Rockets attached to The Space Shuttle, thrusts it into the weightless orbit around earth!

Becoming weightless and living in and by faith daily in God's love flowing in...out...and around us.....means we have learned to give our burdens and cares to THE ONE who "takes care of us," and reveals we have entered into God's rest, into HIS refuge of Psalm 91....soaring above life's circumstance as "the eagles," no longer living the way the world without Jesus lives in the flesh........

........Becoming weightless and living in God's timelessness (to God, a day is as a thousand), means we have learned to love as He loves, we have learned to have NO fear...we have discovered the joy of becoming perfect as HE IS perfect as revealed in Matthew 5:43-48 where Jesus said this is possible...and we know we have the love of The Father in us because we love not the world or its things! Amen?

AND we no longer live IN any "torment." [torment comes from unforgiving and fear...see 1 John 4:18 and Matthew 18:34, 35]

Dear ones who love God and are part of The Called.....let us praise God, for ONCE trust has been developed [through times of test, James 1:2-8], and we are in a Father-child relationship with The Father as HIS child....that trust THRUSTS us into FAITH so strong, we do not doubt God's ability to keep His word to us as His child, and for Him to indeed........work out "the all things" in our lives for our good. Romans 8:28.

ONCE we know in our heart we are part of "THE CALLED" who love Him...we rest, knowing by faith whatever we are taken to, HE WILL see us through...HE IS with us through every valley of the shadow, and we will fear NO evil.....

......for in us lives The Godhead...we are God's temple "not made by hands," and HIS HOLY GHOST SPIRIT who is The Teacher and so much more...abides in us!

.....AND we know HIS power living in us, gives us AUTHORITY over all the works of satan's dark lying spirit force of fallen angels who rebelled against our HOLY Father God....

.....and with that authority we have God's assurance from Jesus words in Luke 10:19, that "nothing by any means can hurt us." AMEN?

The Beginning of Pain

It was not a dream. It was late. I am sure it was past midnight on the 25th of May, and I had just returned from a hard day's work. First I had gone to a few villages to give help. Afterwards, I began praying for a few hours. I lay in my bed listening to a prophecy I had received.
Suddenly, I began to see even though my eyes were shut. I saw an immense flower garden. The flowers were as tall as a man with a healthy stem, but the buds were blue and bent forward. Every flower only had one bud. A cloud suddenly appeared near the garden and it appeared to be very close to the ground.
A man dressed in white stood on the cloud. He was slightly taller than a normal man and in his hand he had a trumpet in which he began to blow. The sounds that came out of this trumpet would turn letters which would then turn into words in the sky and then ignite, burning up the heavens. I did not understand the writing because it was an unknown tongue. I did, however, recognize that it was in Hebrew.
There were a handful of comets in the sky which looked to be peaceful. Suddenly three of them, all different sizes, began to head toward the earth. When they hit the ground, there was total devastation. As I looked up, the sky turned black and I saw thunder. The thunder was also black. A dark cloud lifted up and it began to rain. When I looked closer I saw that it was not rain but drops of blood.
As I looked to my left, I saw another man standing on another cloud. He was very tall, dresses in white, with his hands raised high. Space 'Tsunamis' Found Near Earth

New satellite data are providing insights into space "tsunamis" that disrupt the northern lights and result in auroral dances in the sky.

Generally seen in high-latitude regions, aurorae are colorful light curtains in the sky, caused by high-energy particles that are carried on the solar wind and interact with Earth's magnetic field.

Early in the evening, the aurora often forms a motionless green arc stretching across the sky in an east-west direction. Colorful dancing auroral forms result from disturbances known as "substorms" or space tsunamis in Earth's magnetosphere, a droplet-shaped magnetic bubble created when the solar wind distorts Earth's magnetic field.

These substorms typically last one to two hours, and are three-dimensional physical phenomena spread across distances ranging from 62,000 to 93,000 miles.

Understanding such complex physical processes using a single scientific spacecraft would be like trying to predict the behavior of a tsunami with a single ocean buoy, necessitating the simultaneous use of several satellites like the Cluster constellation.

Currently, two competing theoretical models describe these space tsunamis, the "Current-Disruption" model and the "Near Earth Neutral Line Model." Using Cluster spacecraft data, scientists confirmed that the behavior of some substorms is consistent with the Current Disruption model.

Study of one of the stages of a substorm helps determine which model applies. For example, in the late stage of substorm development, auroral disturbances move towards the poles, suggesting that the energy source for auroras and substorms moves away from Earth.

Previous satellite observations have found that, during this late stage, the plasma or superhot gas flows in the the tails of the magnetosphere exhibit a reversal in direction. In recent years it was generally thought that a flow reversal region is where magnetic reconnection takes place, where the magnetic field's energy is converted into particle energy (dissipation effect), resulting in high-speed plasma flows hurtling towards Earth, like space tsunamis.

Tony Lui, a scientist at John Hopkins University analyzed Cluster satellite data measured while crossing such a region in the magnetotail, where flows of plasma reverse direction. Owing to Cluster's ability to perform simultaneous multipoint measurements, the scientists were able to mathematically describe some energy movement there that had never before been estimated for such a flow reversal region.

By comparing the directions of the electric current and the electric field in the magnetosphere, it is possible to understand whether the flow reversal is a dissipation effect (where magnetic field energy converted to particle energy) or a dynamo effect (where particle energy is converted to magnetic field energy). The Cluster scientists observed that features associated with flow reversal are actually very complex, consisting of both effects in localized sites.

This result shows that the plasma turbulence disrupts the local electric current. "The features we observed are consistent with the current disruption model," Lui said "However, it is unclear how general these findings are."

Scientists Detect Heavenly Music Coming From Our Sun

Lancashire, England (AHN) - Scientists have recorded a heavenly music
from magnetic fields in the atmosphere of the Sun's outer regions.

A study, presented at the Royal Astronomical Society's National
Astronomy Meeting reveals that the looping magnetic fields along the
Sun's outer regions, called corona, carry magnetic sound waves in a
similar manner to pipe organs. Solar explosions called micro-flares
generate sound booms which are then propagated along the coronal loops.
"These explosions release energy equivalent to millions of hydrogen
bombs," the study said.

"These loops can be up to 100 million kilometers long and guide waves
and oscillations in a similar way to a pipe organ," said Dr. Youra
Taroyan, from the Solar Physics and Space Plasma Research Center
(SP2RC)
at the University of Sheffield.

"These magnetic loops are analogous to a simple guitar string," says
SP2RC director Professor Robertus von
Fay-Siebenburgen. "If you pluck a guitar string, you will hear the
music."

While solar flares are the large explosions, micro flares are a million
times smaller but much more frequent releasing immense heat into the
Sun's surface. The coronal loops generated by the Sun's magnetic field
are like huge fiery fountains arching hundreds of thousands of
kilometers above the Sun's surface. The coronal temperature is up to
300
times hotter than photosphere, or the Sun's visible surface.

The study says musical finding could help explain why the corona is
hotter than the Sun's surface. If astronomers can get a clearer picture
of what's going on inside these magnetic loops they may find the
answer,
Professor von Fay- Siebenburgen said. "Studying how plasma is heated to
such high temperatures in coronal loops could speed up the
technological
development of industrial-scale nuclear fusion on Earth."

Professor von Fay- Siebenburgen and his colleagues collated information
gleaned from sun-orbiting satellites with theoretical models of solar
processes.

European astronomers announced Tuesday that they've discovered the first potentially habitable Earth-like planet outside our solar system where conditions are such that oceans, and thus life, may be possible.
The planet circles the red dwarf star Gliese 581 in a Goldilocks orbit that sets its temperature between 32 and 104 degrees Fahrenheit, neither too hot nor too cold — but just right — for liquid water to exist, according to the team led by astronomer Michel Mayor of Switzerland's Geneva Observatory.

Of the more than 200 planets detected orbiting nearby stars since 1995, most are gas giants. The new discovery, dubbed Gliese 581c, is rocky like Earth and the first small planet detected at the right distance from its star to harbor oceans. NASA has long believed it needs to "follow the water" in its search for life elsewhere.

"Life on the planet we have discovered is indeed possible," says team member Xavier Bonfils of Portugal's Lisbon Observatory in an e-mail. "We're very excited by this discovery because we feel we are entering a new (class) of planets like Earth."

Gliese 581 is about 20.5 light-years away in the constellation Libra (one light-year is about 5.9 trillion miles), much less bright than our sun. Because the star isn't as hot, the planet, one of three circling the star, orbits within a habitable zone about 14 times closer to its star than the Earth's habitable orbit around the sun. Gliese 581c completes a "year" in only 13 days, Bonfils says.

"This is the closest planet to another Earth that has been found to date," says astronomer Alan Boss of the Carnegie Institute of Washington (D.C.), by e-mail. "The fact that it could have liquid water makes it even more fascinating and arguably the first habitable planet."

The discovery team detected the planet indirectly, by measuring back-and-forth gravitational wobbles that the orbiting planets induce in Gliese 581, a star about one-third as heavy as the sun. That method provides only a minimum mass estimate of a planet. In this case, Gliese 581c is likely about five times heavier than Earth and half again as wide, one of the three smallest planets yet detected orbiting a nearby star.

"We may be witnessing the start of a cosmic real estate boom," says astronomer Jill Tarter of the SETI Institute in Mountain View, Calif. SETI, the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence, has surveyed Gliese 581 for radio signals, without result, in its privately funded Project Phoenix effort, according to Tarter.

Gliese 581 "appears to be a nice, quiet older star that orbits placidly within the disk of the galaxy," says astronomer Margaret Turnbull of the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore. "Because the star itself is so small, it makes sense that the planets orbiting it would also be small — so we should not be shocked about that. "

"Water will be the key" as to whether life could exist on Gliese 581c, and determining, with a telescope, whether oceans exist there will be tricky, Tarter says.

However, astronomer Wesley Traub of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif, doubts Gliese 581c is hospitable enough for life. "It is probably tidally locked to the star, like the moon to the Earth," he says. That means the star-facing side of the planet receives boiling heat, while the far side would be frozen.

Regardless, the planet has likely rocketed to the top of the list for would-be Earth-hunters, Bonfils says. Red dwarf stars are 80 of the 100 closest stars to Earth, he adds, making the detection of more small planets orbiting red dwarfs likely.

The first three dimensional images of the sun have been taken by scientists to help to forecast destructive solar storms.

The view from Nasa's twin Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory spacecraft will greatly aid scientists' ability to improve space weather forecasting.

Violent weather originates in the sun's atmosphere, or corona, and can disrupt satellites, radio communication, and power grids on Earth. Of particular concern is a destructive eruption called a coronal mass ejection.

These are eruptions of electrically charged gas, called plasma, from the sun's atmosphere. A coronal mass ejection cloud can contain billions of tons of plasma and move at a million miles per hour.

Ejections directed toward Earth smash into our planet's magnetic field where they can dump energy and particles. This causes magnetic storms that can overload power line equipment and radiation storms that harm satellites.

Satellite and utility operators can take precautions but they need an accurate forecast of when one will arrive, which is where Stereo comes in.

Estimates of the arrival time will improve "from within a day or so to just a few hours," said Russell Howard of the Naval Research Laboratory, Washington.

The detectors for all the cameras on the spacecraft were built at the Science and Technology Facilities Council's Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire.

Last summer was the first time in my life I was able to view the Stars at night without the glare of light from the Big City that Blocks most of the constellations. You see, I had recently relocated.

On the nights of April 16, 17, 18 - 2007, Mon., Tue.and Wed. this week I took the time to finally verify the Claim that things were not right with the Stars. Possibly due to an Earth Tilt and /or Lurch.

First, let me say that last summer, 2006, I witnessed Stars moving to the SW during the course of the night. Not sure of what is normal for this New latitude, I noted the trend.

Finally, this spring, after cold weather and never-ending cloud covering I finally was able to do some more observations this week.

What I found is troubling...

The Stars are no longer moving Southwest during the night, which, in itself is alarming.

Why?

They are Now moving East to West, which is Normal.

But there is Now a Vast Change.....

What may that be?

The Big Dipper, which is directly overhead at 10PM CST, was approximately 30 degrees Too Far East.

Over the next Seven Hours I watched as the Big Dipper slowly moved West, but not nearly as Far as it should have…

By 5 AM CST, The Big Dipper should have been another 60 Degrees to the Northwest!

The Big Dipper was still Overhead at a Position in the skies it should have occupied Five and One Half Hours Ago!!!

At Five AM CST, The Big Dipper was approximately 10 degrees to the West of Directly Overhead.

This is Absolutely Astounding!! !!

If the above observed Trend continues, any person that expects to find Vega for the Meteor Shower Sunday Night April 22 may find that Vega is not where it is supposed to be!

Vega may very well be hovering Low in the Northeastern Sky. It also will Not be Overhead at 4 AM.

Brightest Star Explosion Ever Spotted

WASHINGTON (AP) - A massive exploding faraway star—the brightest supernova astronomers have ever seen—has scientists wondering if a similar celestial fireworks show may light up the sky much closer to Earth sometime soon.
The discovery, announced Monday by NASA, drew oohs and aahs for months from the handful of astronomers who peered through telescopes to see the fuzzy remnants of the spectacular explosion after it was first spotted last fall.

Using a variety of Earth and space telescopes, astronomers found a giant exploding star that they figure has shined about five times brighter than any of the hundreds of supernovae ever seen before, said discovery team leader Nathan Smith of the University of California at Berkeley. The discovery was first made last September by a graduate student in Texas.

"This one is way above anything else," Smith told The Associated Press. "It's really astonishing."

Smith said the star, SN2006gy, "is a special kind of supernova that has never been seen before."

Observations from the Chandra X-ray telescope helped show that it didn't become a black hole like other supernovae and skipped a stage of star death.

Unlike other exploding stars, which peak at brightness for a couple of weeks at most, this supernova, peaked for 70 days, according to NASA. And it has been shining at levels brighter than other supernovae for several months, Smith said.

And even at 240 million light years away, this star in a distant galaxy does suggest that a similar and relatively nearby star—one 44 trillion miles away—might blow in similar fashion any day now or 50,000 years from now, Smith said. It wouldn't threaten Earth, but it would be visible to people in the Southern Hemisphere, he said.

At Gerrity Stone in Woburn, they know a lot about rocks. But they can't identify the one that punched a hole through their roof the other day.

NewsCenter 5's Kelley Tuthill reported that experts are examining the object, trying to determine exactly what it is.

"No one around here has ever seen anything like this. A real mystery," said Gerrity's Alan Weiner.

One would expect to find granite and marble at the stone warehouse, but workers were surprised to find the unusually heavy object on the floor.

"Then we looked up at the ceiling and, 'Oh my God. It fell through the ceiling,'" Weiner said.

For answers, Weiner headed to Sky And Telescope in Cambridge where J. Kelly Beatty examined the object.

"I'm suspicious that it's rusty and it shouldn't be rusty," Beatty said.

Beatty did some tests on the object, which weighs about 1.24 pounds.

"This is interesting. It's clearly got some metal in it. The magnet does attract," Beatty said.

Beatty said there is a chance the object could be a meteorite.

"A third of me says 'yes,' but two-thirds says 'no,'" Beatty said.

Beatty was intrigued enough by the object to take photos and e-mail them to an expert at Harvard University. Beatty said meteorites are rare.

"The only one known meteorite to have fallen in Massachusetts and that was in Northampton in 1963. That was iron, as this appears to be," Beatty said.

Meteorite or not, it's a mystery how the object fell from a warehouse ceiling.

If the object is a meteorite, experts said it could be worth a couple of thousand dollars.

It could be Mars as the GLP poster below suggests:

That point of light in the sky as mentioned has to be either Mars or Saturn. Because Venus is closer than our planet in the orbit of the sun, it could only be seen by telescope during the day. My guess is that it is Mars.

Planet Mars will be the brightest in the night sky starting August. It will
look as large as the full moon by the naked eye. This will ultimate on
Aug.27 when Mars comes within 34.65M miles of Earth. Be sure to watch the sky
on Aug 27 , 12:30 am . It will look as if Earth has 2 Moons. Don't Miss
it.....The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287.

Professor James McCanney (an Astrophycist) has just issued an important red alert for the 15 day period beginning on or about August 12. Here is basically what McCanney is predicting: Starting on or about Aug. 12, there will be a very unusual set of planetary alignments that will be leading up to the New Moon passing on Aug. 14. When the electrical alignments are just right, the Solar winds that will be directed towards Earth are "blocked" from hitting the Earth due to the New Moon being between Earth and our Sun. As the New Moon moves away, these Solar Winds will be hitting Earth and will be causing many storms, earthquakes, and volcanic events. He urges all of us to be prepared for some wild rides. You must make sure that you have food and water stored up. You might also want to withdraw a goodly amount of cash from your bank in case of the resulting economic distortions. Also, check your electrical generators to see that they are in good shape in case of any power grid failures.

COSMIC CHANGES.... ANNOUNCEMENT OF A HUGE AND UNUSUAL EVENT….

It is an unusual event which I announce to you.... you will think that you are mistaken yet time and again experience the same…. earthly tremors which are not caused by eruptions but always occur when the earth stands in a certain constellation to the stars…. so that the tremors can be anticipated on a regular basis and will not fail to happen.

They will be barely perceptible and hence disturb few people, yet the investigations by scientists will give rise to apprehensions of the worst kind. Furthermore, as the phenomena intensify they will also unsettle indifferent people once they realise the threat to earth from other heavenly bodies, because having left their path the latter are moving towards earth and time and again form a constellation which triggers these very effects.

In view of the approaching end people shall still be aroused from their calm, they shall remember their Creator and think about their own transience and the fact that they have no guarantee of passing into complete oblivion after their physical death; they have to be reminded of the end of their lives and also of the fate which will await them if they believe in the continuation of their soul’s life. The last days will exhibit so much that is contrary to nature, given that people’s activities and thoughts are already unnatural and result in consequences of the worst kind…. People presumptuously and beyond their authority undertake explorations of the universe ….

They disregard natural laws and yet, their actions and intentions will not be prevented, the repercussions, however, will fall back upon themselves. Nevertheless, the end moves ever closer, and if people are yet to be helped by taking stock of themselves and becoming aware of their great responsibility then an unusual activity on God’s part will also have to be shown to them, even though it is still up to their own free will to take notice of it and adjust accordingly.

And such unusual activity will be experienced by humanity in the forthcoming time. It will not be caused by people but takes place in the cosmos, in a region which is entirely subject to the Creator Himself, which now seemingly slides into lawlessness, and yet even this event is integral to the plan of returning the spirits, since it is capable of leading to a change in many people because it is too extraordinary…. but without compelling them to believe, for the unbelieving person will not even take the trouble to find an explanation since he lives utterly irresponsibly.

And people’s spiritual state in the last days has already sunk so low that even extraordinary natural events would not make them believe, consequently even these methods can still be used for the benefit of undecided people who need strong motives to seriously reflect on it and aim their will into the right direction. For whatever can still be done in order to keep the souls from the fate of a new banishment will be done by God, Who loves humanity and does not want them to go astray…. But every time He manifests Himself in the manner it was announced there will be fatalities, otherwise people would not allow themselves to be impressed and mutually accuse each other of self-deception…. For the effects will vary from place to place, and it will take scientists a certain length of time before they succeed in finding the right explanation, but then the signs will repeat themselves with ever increasing frequency and provide people with the evidence that something is happening in the cosmos which they cannot counteract themselves.

And thus they are also subject to the periodically recurring consequences until, finally, the huge natural event will take place which will demonstrate God’s might and greatness to people who believe in Him and who will also be protected in every adversity. Yet although people are repeatedly informed of an approaching end, although the preceding natural disasters are repeatedly pointed out to them…. they won’t believe nor change their way of life in the slightest, they do nothing to prepare themselves, they live in the world and love it, and look at the world as their God…. And therefore they will remain attached to matter when the end has come.... Yet everything is determined in the divine plan of Salvation and nothing will come to pass that has not already been taken into account since eternity….

And thus even this unnatural event will take place according to divine will, and the day for this is also predetermined and will be upheld…. Nevertheless, you shall be informed in advance so that your faith may be strengthened, because everything will come to pass as was said before and because you will ever more recognise the truth of what is conveyed to you from above …. For you ought to establish the connection between God and the world, with your fellow human beings who live without faith or thought…. Admittedly, you will only be able to speak about it after the initial occurrences have taken place since prior to that no-one will want to listen to you …. you will only find open ears and hearts after a tremor has happened which will make people wonder and only then should you speak, and then it will depend on people’s willingness as to what benefits they will draw from these events…. Amen

Space shuttle damage appears minor:

HOUSTON (Reuters) - A small gouge in space shuttle Endeavour's heat shield appears to be a minor problem and is unlikely to require repair, NASA said on Saturday after studying the three-inch gash on the ship's belly.

The shuttle crew will use remote sensors on Endeavour's robot arm to take a closer look on Sunday, but mission management team chairman John Shannon said there "are very good signs this will not be something we'll have to worry about."

NASA, which discovered the gouge on Friday from photographs taken as Endeavour arrived at the International Space Station, feared it might have to be patched by spacewalking astronauts to ensure the shuttle's safe return to Earth.

Shannon said in a briefing at Johnson Space Center that video showed a grapefruit-sized piece of insulating foam broke free from Endeavour's fuel tank and struck the ship as it launched from Florida on Wednesday.

But the damage appears to be superficial and is in a place where the fiery heat of the return to Earth would not threaten the shuttle, Shannon said.

A final decision on the need for repairs will not be made until after Sunday's inspection.

Initially, NASA thought Endeavour may have been hit by ice, which is denser and potentially more destructive than foam.

Debris flies from shuttles at every launch, but the U.S. space agency has taken steps to curb the problem since shuttle Columbia disintegrated while returning to Florida in 2003, killing the seven astronauts on board.

That accident was blamed on a briefcase-sized piece of flying tank foam that struck Columbia's wing during launch and put a sizable hole in the heat shield.

The damage went undetected, which is why NASA now conducts at least three damage inspections during each flight, including the photos taken by the station crew as the shuttle approaches for docking.

The shuttle is covered with ceramic heat-resistant tiles and carbon panels to protect its aluminum skin from melting during the plunge back through the atmosphere for landing. Temperatures around the damage site can reach up to 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit (1,093 degrees Celsius).

SUCCESSFUL SPACEWALK

NASA officials also had good news about the main U.S. computer on the space station, which suddenly crashed on Saturday, forcing backup computers to take over.

Station flight director Joel Montalbano said the crash appeared to be a software problem and, after trouble-shooting , the computer would be returned to operation.

While NASA dealt with the two problems on Saturday, astronauts Rick Mastracchio and Dave Williams completed the main task of Endeavour's mission by bolting a new beam on to the space station during a six-hour spacewalk.

Installation of the 11-foot (3.4-metre) and two-tonne aluminum extension was another step toward planned completion of the $100 billion international project by 2010.

Endeavour is scheduled to return to Earth on August 19 but NASA has said it may extend the mission by three days.

The shuttle crew includes teacher-turned-astronaut Barbara Morgan, the backup to fellow teacher Christa McAuliffe, who died in the 1986 after-launch explosion of shuttle Challenger.

THE FINAL GATHERING OF ALL THE SAINTS BY MESSIAH WAS SEEN IN THE CONSTELLATIONS OF THE STARS. ONE SNAPSHOT IN THE HEAVENS OF THIS GLORIOUS EVENT IS IN THE LITTLE DIPPER WHICH GOES BY ITS ANCIENT NAME OF THE 'LESSER SHEEPFOLD'.
The breakout of God's people by the returning Messiah as "the Breaker" is an untold story. Bible teachers neglect it entirely. Yet it was spoken of by the prophet Micah in Micah 2:12-13. Isaiah also tells the story of the return of Messiah at a place, (or places), known as Bozrah, which in Hebrew means 'sheepfold'. This epic story of Messiah's return and this deliverance from the confines of a sheepfold is also pictured for us in the heavens. Truly the heavens declare the glory of God. This deliverance aspect of the Second Coming of Christ is seen in the constellation of the Little Dipper, (see above).
The ancient name for the 'Little Dipper' or 'little bear',('Ursa Minor') is the Lesser Sheepfold. The picture the ancient people saw is of the Messiah coming to His people even as a shepherd comes to the sheepfold in the morning. In the poetic imagery the saints have been penned up in a sheepfold during the night. From the name 'Bozrah' we not only know that it is a sheepfold or place of incarceration and protection, but also that it owned by the wild sons of Esau, or the Edomites. Here is the story as we see it in the imagery.

As the Messiah comes into the fold at the dawn of a new day the sheep gather around Him. They are pressing in all around Him as 'The Breaker' opens a Way out of the sheepfold to let His sheep go out to pasture. In this picture in the stars we are given even more information. The handle of the Little Dipper shows the Messiah has broken His sheep out. He is leading them out of the lesser sheepfold and away from the encircling Dragon represented in the heavens by the huge serpentine constellation of Draco. There is a stream of sheep leaving the lesser sheepfold. This is represented by the handle of the 'little dipper'.

Our returning Messiah is at the head of it all! Polaris, the North Star, or 'turning star', is a picture of Christ our Messiah. The polar star has been well known down through history. This great star has been used by ocean navigators down through time. They depended on the North Star to steer their vessels at night.

Our Messiah is at the center of the starry host the axis of rotation of the earth is presently aimed towards Polaris, the North Star.

The axis of the earth goes through a precession much like the axis of a spinning top wobbles around in a circle. The passage of this precession of the North Celestial Pole is is represented by the blue arc in the chart above. It takes 26,000 years for this precession of this northern axis of the earth, or the north celestial pole, to describe a complete circle through the heavens.

This is where it begins to get interesting. Over four millennia ago, at the time of the Flood of Noah, the axis of the earth, (or north celestial pole), was aimed right at Draco. This is the constellation of the Dragon, (or Satan). As it left Draco, (two or three hundred years later), our spiritual father Abraham was leaving the idolatrous city of Ur.

Two millennia ago, at the time of Christ, the north celestial pole had passed the midway point. It was precessing onwards and was then halfway towards the North Star.

Where does the axis of the earth point today? Today it is pointing very close to Polaris. During the early part of this new millennium the north celestial pole will be aimed right at Polaris, the North Star.

These constellations, combined with the precession of the earth's axis, are telling us a story here. Spiritually our Messiah will soon be coming to be the center of our universe. And in this marvellous picture in the constellations our delivering Messiah is at the head of it all. Indeed, He is the One upon whom all the others stars turn.

Our returning Messiah is the "Breaker". A stream of stars are seen following Him as He breaks through and leads His sheep out of the lesser sheepfold and onwards to His pasture. The sheep stream out of the sheepfold with the Messiah at their head. - Mic.2:12-13

This is a magnificent picture of the Second Coming of Christ. Why have we not seen it before? Our Messiah will return to deliver His hard pressed people staging this magnificent breakout from Esau's sheepfold at Bozrah.

This is not idle starry eyed speculation. Nor is it 'private interpretation'. The Holy Scriptures tell the very same story. The very same Bozrah deliverance is seen in Micah.2:12-13 where we see the Messiah come back to us as "The Breaker". This awesome story is further laid out for us in Isaiah 63. It is also alluded to in Matthew 11:12.

This aspect of the return of Christ is untaught. Our Bible teachers have not yet brought out this awesome aspect of the Second Coming. But here in the constellations and in Micah 2:12-13 our God is laying out an awesome story of deliverance. It is a grand adventure even amidst the events of the end-time. This end-time drama also begins to take us into a deeper romance with our Lord Jesus. This high drama will come right at the climax of this age. It will eclipse the former gathering of God's people out of Egypt and the deliverance at the Red Sea crossing. And yet the same "Song of Moses" will be sung at the end. - Rev.15:2-3 Truly this spectacular break-out of God's Elect will be the most glorious deliverance this world has ever seen.
