was lost but now found

I just got back from a youth conference. The first night was about purity. The guy told the story about meeting and marrying his wife. And about how he went through a two and a half year journey to reclaim his purity and eventually marry this girl that he had met at the beginning.

He gave an altar call for those who would want to reclaim their purity. I went up because I hadn't exactly remained pure in my 20 years. So I did some repenting that night with inspired words and pictures to go along with.

Ok, now my dream. I had a dream that I was at a pet adoption fair. My dad brought me here to get a new pet. I stopped at a cage with a pretty little kitten in it. This kitten was a duplicate of one I have in real life (you can see her here). Anyways, I was like, "Daddy! Daddy! I want that one!!!" So we got THAT one.

I retrieved her from the cage while my dad went to sign the papers. When we were about to leave, she got away from me and I lost her. We looked EVERYWHERE for her. She was gone.

I wanted to stay all night and keep looking for her but my dad said that we just had to go home. When I got home, I got on my knees and prayed to God. "God, find my kitten!!!"

Immediately, a lady called and said she had my kitten and I heard it meowing in the background. Prayer answered, done deal.

My own interpretation is that the kitten was a symbol of my innocence but that I had lost it and that it was only through prayer and petition to God that I got it back.

no meat in the house

This one I'm not so sure about.

I had a dream before getting up to go to church yesterday morning.

In my dream, I was back home with my dad and it was winter time. (It still is but whatever...) We had no meat in the house but it didn't bother me. I remember that my dad cooked up some noodles and put some green leafy stuff in it (spinach?).

I was eating my noodles when I looked outside and saw at least four of my cats looking in the window. They were unrecognizable. They were so malnourished. I started crying. (None of these cats was the cat from my last dream.)

I rushed to the kitchen to get some food for them. However, there was no cat food. I went to the fridge and, of course, there was no meat.

The END....

Some scriptures on meat... you can read them on your own time in their entire context. smile.gif

1 Corinthians 6
12All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 13Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. 14And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.

Hebrews 5

12For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

1 Corinthians 10
1Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

Cats can represent a pet sin a close friend or even a specific part of our personality in general-- but dream symbols very from person to person.

Hope this helps out smile.gif wub.gif
