My Father-in-law Charlie and dearly beloved Father to my husband, passed away Wednesday Jan 24th at 10:55 AM.
We where with him, and he went so peacefully. He was asleep, and I truly beleive he knew that me, my husband, and my husband's sister and brother where there.,,and could hear us.
He was able to die at home, and he was so comforted by our Lord and Savior Jesus. As he took his last breath a beautiful Red bird landed outside on the railing of his porch and just danced around in the fresh flurries of snow that had been there from early morning. The red bird then flew up in a tree and sat there while family members came to say their goodbyes and eventually flew away.
We'll miss Charlie, We love him dearly and I know he knows this...and is with Jesus and his loved ones too.

To be absent in the body is to be present with the LORD. He is Home now with Jesus.

thank you all for your prayers...We couldnt have asked for more...all we asked that he find rest in Christ and not suffer, and God answered our Prayers.

What a beautiful story of a life that is truly just begining. He is breating the air in heaven, hearing the sounds of heaven. It must be amazing.
