I have been using it for about a week or two now, after I was reminded by reading a few devotionals that He told us to pray like that. At first I started praying it from memory and I wasn't sure if it was correct but later I found that it was correct! {That alone is a miracle of His because I don't have the best memory! } That prayer just helps me to remember that I am living for His glory alone and only He can guide me. After that prayer, I praise Him for how I have seen Him work in my life and I pray for my friends and family who need His healing.

The Jesus Prayer is not the "Our Father"! It is more a method than a specific prayer, although in the EOC it does has a specific wording for the actual prayer.

"Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner."
Is this what you are talking about?
I pray this nearly every time l enter in...

Yes, that is the traditional version... but it can be any short prayer used to recollect your mind on the indwelling presence of Jesus... using it when your mind has strayed to gently bring it back to Him.
