A DESTRUCTIVE STORM IS COMING THE FIRST WEEK OF FEBRUARY

Pushing THE PRESIDENT’S ‘VISION’ of a “Roadmap to Peace” has drastic consequences read on;

Remember his vision was announced after two postponements on June 24, 2002, the first day of Daniel 8:13’s 2300 day prophecy that ends with Yeshua cleansing the sanctuary on Yom Kippur October 9, 2008.

Did God postpone it so the 2300th day would fall on Israel’s most high ‘holy day’?

Condoleezza Rice said;
"I have issued an invitation to the members of the quartet for a meeting in Washington ... likely to take place on February 2," Rice told reporters in Berlin. Several European countries want the quartet -- the United States, the United Nations, Russia and the European Union -- to play a bigger role.

She CONTINUES TO IGNORE God’s warning in Joel 3: 2 I will gather ALL NATIONS, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will execute judgment upon them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations: and THEY HAVE PARTED MY LAND.

SHE ALSO IGNORES the double portion (US/UN) to be meted out on our country recorded in Revelation 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and DOUBLE unto her DOUBLE according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her DOUBLE.

Condoleezza Rice visit to Europe proved the point dramatically. I have one question, is the US, particularly the megatropolis areas surrounding Washington DC, ready for a ‘super nor’easter’ sometime on or near February 2, 2007?

Truth is obeying God’s word; here are the consequences OF NOT DOING SO.

The results of her efforts last week are in, as she updated the EU, Germany and Britain on DIVIDING GODS LAND with a Palestinian State.

On January 18, 2007 Condoleezza Rice met with German Chancellor Andrea Merkel.

Hurricane-force winds and heavy downpours hammered northern Europe, the storms were among the fiercest to batter northern Europe in years as winds of up to 133 mph swept off the Atlantic and cut a swathe across Britain, northern France, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Poland, Belgium, the Czech Republic and into Russia

Rice cuts short visit to Berlin in order to leave before winds worsened as more than 200 flights in and out of Frankfurt airport were cancelled because of the winds a German meteorologists recorded gusts up to 125 mph

Some notable quotes:
Hans-Georg Zimmermann, spokesman for Deutsche Bahn: "We are still at a standstill nationwide, with only a few trains running"
Hartmut Mehdorn, chief executive of Deutsche Bahn: "We have never yet had such a situation in Germany"

Rice then traveled to London for a meeting with British Prime Minister Tony Blair

1.) Rice’s plane landed in gusts of up to 80 mph at London's Heathrow Airport, Europe's largest, canceled 280 flights. Other major airports - including Frankfurt, Munich, Amsterdam and Vienna - reported delays and cancellations.
2.) In London, harried commuters struggled through a gauntlet of road closures caused by falling debris blown from glass-paneled office buildings and medieval churches.
3.) London's Millennium Bridge was closed after the suspension structure began
swaying dangerously in the wind.
4.) Rail stations across London also were closed, and the evening commute melted into chaos.

Other countries affected by the hurricane force winds that ripped up trees and power lines as hundreds of thousands of homes had power cut.

1.) The Druzhba pipeline carrying Russian oil to the European Union via Ukraine was shut off after high winds caused power problems and forced the closure of a pumping station
2.) More than one million people were without power in the Czech Republic. Some 100,000 homes in northern France, 20,000 households in Austria and more than 30,000 households across northeast England lost electricity -- nearly all because falling trees downed power lines.
3.) Ferries canceled or delayed in Britain, Ireland, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Finland, and trains delayed in the Netherlands, Germany and Austria.

As the 2300 days count down the storms will continue to escalate, the book of Revelation is written and will not be changed.

Giving Him the glory, an Ezekiel 33:6 watching one REPENT the Kingdom of God is at hand, make your election SURE

And I would like to add to your post that Europe has had a ton warnings before this and still they pay no attention. There was the unprecedented heat wave that killed hunderds of people. England had a tornado. There was tremendous water shortages and then record floods. No matter how big the warning, they just don't take the hint!
Godisgood
Greetings all:

You know, I was wondering what was up with the hurricane-force winds in Europe and this makes sense to me. It does seems like the puzzle pieces are falling into places. I do look for the House of Congress under Nancy Pelosi (who's from San Francisco, by the way) do something of earth-shattering stupidity in regard toward Israel. Nothing concrete, mind you, just an hunch of mine.

Sincerely yours,

Wendy

And in America, the Midwest was pounded by snow. Also, there was cold and snow in southern California, resulting in a nearly total loss ($1B) of this season's citrus harvest. All total, if I recall, almost 60 people have died as a result of the extreme winter weather across the country. All this took place while Rice was talking Israeli-Palestinian peace.

Tied in to this topic? I don't know.

But, a tornado ripped Florida this morning. May the Lord shed his mercy and grace on families that lost loved ones. May Christians reach out to those affected.

LADY LAKE, Fla. (AP) -- Severe thunderstorms tore through central Florida early Friday, destroying mobile homes and a church, lifting a tractor-trailer into the air and killing at least two people, authorities said.

Lake County sheriff's spokeswoman Christie Mysinger confirmed the deaths to WKMG-TV but did not say how they occurred. She did not immediately return phone messages left by The Associated Press.

Tornado warnings issued around midnight remained in effect, and officials were trying to determine whether tornadoes caused the damage.

Dozens of mobile homes near Lady Lake in Lake County were destroyed by the storms that hit in the middle of the night. Chairs, beds and clothes were strewn about yards, with debris hanging from trees. Some homes were tossed from their foundations, while others had their roofs ripped off.

Mike Turner, a technician with the National Weather Service in Melbourne, said it appeared at least one fatality occurred in the Lady Lake area, about 50 miles northwest of Orlando.

The Lady Lake Church of God was demolished, its pews, altar and Bibles left in a jumbled mess. The 31-year-old, steel-reinforced structure was built to withstand 150-mph winds, the Rev. Larry Lynn said.

Dozens of mobile homes near Lady Lake also were destroyed. Chairs, beds and clothes were strewn about yards, and debris hung from trees. Some homes were tossed from their foundations, while others had their roofs ripped off.

The storms moved across Sumter and Lake counties around 3:15 a.m., then moved to Volusia County, said Peggy Glitto, a weather service meteorologist.

"Radar indicated that there were tornadoes, but we're going to send someone out to assess the damage," Glitto said.

In Volusia County, another 69 homes were damaged and one injury was reported, officials said. A county medical clinic in DeLand was severely damaged, officials said.

"We're in the process of getting our arms around the damage," county spokesman Dave Byron said.

At least five crashes took place within a quarter mile of each other near Interstate 4's New Smyrna Beach exit, closing the highway for about three hours.

In one case, a semitrailer was lifted up and landed on another semi, pinning the driver in his cab, said Kim Miller, a spokeswoman with the Florida Highway Patrol. The driver did not suffer life-threatening injuries, she said.

About 20,000 customers were without power across a wide swath of central Florida, Progress Energy spokeswoman Cherie Jacobs said. Florida Power & Light reported about 200 customers without power in the DeLand area.

The state Emergency Operations Center was activated, said Mike Stone, spokesman at the state's Department of Emergency Management.

By daybreak, parishioners in Lady Lake gathered on the lot where the Church of God once stood, hugging one another and consoling Lynn. They planned to clear the debris and hold Sunday services on the empty lot.

"That's just the building," Lynn said. "The people are the church. We'll be back bigger and stronger."

Tornado tears through Florida, kills 19
Fri Feb 2, 2007 5:45 PM ET

By Barbara Liston

ORLANDO, Florida (Reuters) - Severe thunderstorms and at least one tornado killed 19 people on Friday when they ripped through Florida in the dead of night, tearing homes to shreds, toppling heavy trucks and leaving a trail of rubble.

More than 1,500 homes, buildings and churches were damaged or destroyed across a wide area of central Florida north of the tourism region around Orlando. But two of the area's biggest attractions, Walt Disney Co.'s Disney World and Universal Studios Florida, were not affected.

Rescue teams fanned out to search for people who might still be trapped under flattened homes.

Crunched cars were flung onto porches, and battered sofas and fridges stood in piles of debris scattered over the exposed concrete foundations of houses. Dusk till dawn curfews were put into effect in two areas to deter looters.

The storm hit at 3:15 a.m. (0815 GMT) and a spokesman for the Lake County sheriff's office said at least one and perhaps two tornadoes touched down in a state that ranks only behind the infamous "Tornado Alley" in the U.S. Midwest for the number of tornado strikes. Most, such as a twister near Orlando on Christmas Day last year, cause no fatalities.

"The death toll is up to 19 now," said Kevin Lenhart, spokesman for the Lake County emergency operations center. Another 19 people were in hospital.

The emergency center said six were killed in Lady Lake, about 40 miles northwest of Orlando, and 13 in nearby Paisley, on the edge of the Ocala National Forest.

Pastor Howard Roszak of the First Baptist Church in Paisley said two teenage boys who belonged to his church were killed. One of the boys died along with his father, while both parents of the other teen were killed.

'NOTHING LEFT'

"I know all these kids real good. I love these kids. I hear there is nothing left ... just absolutely nothing," Roszak said, referring to the home of one of the boys.

Sen. Bill Nelson, a Florida Democrat, compared the devastation to a "total war zone about 300 yards wide, about three football fields."

"The last thing we saw before lifting off was a little fawn whose rear leg was just dangling, limping off on three legs into the woods," he said after a helicopter tour.

About 1,000 tornadoes hit the United States annually, killing on average 80 people a year, and winter tornadoes appear to be more prevalent during El Nino years, when the waters of the eastern Pacific become unusually warm.

"This is something that we've seen here in the past in our state when we've had El Nino conditions in place," said state meteorologist Ben Nelson.

In February 1998, another El Nino year, a swarm of tornadoes killed more than 40 people in central Florida and injured scores more. One narrowly missed the crowded tourist area that includes Disney, Universal Studios and Sea World.

The National Weather Service said it believed more than one tornado touched down on Friday but had yet to ascertain that.

Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman Kim Miller said the tornado blew over five tractor-trailer rigs at about 3:45 a.m.

"We saw tractor-trailers littered all over the interstate," she told CNN. "We had a few cars mixed into that."

The storm knocked out power to more than 42,000 customers but only 7,800 were still without electricity by mid-afternoon, an official with the local utility, Progress Energy, said.

Florida Gov. Charlie Crist declared a state of emergency in four affected counties and the Red Cross opened shelters for people left homeless.

folks, come one...the theory on this thread is, The US is going to be punished by God on Feb 2nd because of our roll in dividing Israel. I agree that America will be judged for this but to say God did so with a tornado is florida is silly. Snow storm in the midwest in january!!! wow!!! oh wait, that happens every January! Storms in florida!?! come on...when God judges, you will know it. Just ask Sodom and Gormorah, oh wait, they are no more. The feb 2nd prophecy was made by a false prophet. God has not moved, or you would know it.

Standing firm in the storm
Is my Savior and guide:
As I'm sinking He holds out His hand.
Though I'm tossed to and fro
As I walk thru the waves,
If there's one who can save me, He can.

In the dark of despair,
I turn my head, He is there,
And again I am able to stand.
Joy returns to my soul,
By His grace, I am whole;
Praise His Name, for I now understand:
He alone holds my life in His hand!

As the storm fills the night,
He is still in my sight,
And I know He won't leave me to fail.
When it seems I can't stand,
"Peace, be still" He commands,
And the storm stops its endless travail.

As the night turns to day,
I rejoice and I pray,
Giving thanks I am able to stand.
Joy returns to my soul:
I am free! I am whole!
Praise His Name, for I now understand:
He alone holds my life in His hand!

He walks the waves beside thee,
No storm can drive Him thence;
He bids the waters bear thee,
His arm is thy defense;
His face shines on the billows,
Let all thy terror fly;
Fear not to trust in Jesus,
He beckons, “It is I,”
He beckons, “It is I.”

Coincidence number 15, and counting...

Granted, there may not be a correlation from God's vantage point to all of these. Nevertheless, it is very thought and prayer-provoking.

Dates, events, and consequences?

October 30, 1991
President George H. W. Bush is opening the Madrid (Spain) Conference to consider land for peace in Israel's Middle East role.
The "perfect storm" develops in the North Atlantic, creating the largest waves ever recorded in that region. The storm travels 1000 miles from east to west instead of the normal west to east pattern and crashes into the New England Coast. Thirty-five foot waves crash into the shoreline of the Kennebunkport home of President Bush.

August 23, 1992
The Madrid Conference moves to Washington DC and the peace talks resume.
Hurricane Andrew, the worst natural disaster ever to hit America, comes ashore and produces an estimated $30 billion in damage and leaving 180,000 homeless in Florida.

January 16, 1994
President Bill Clinton meets with Syria's President Hafez el-Assad in Geneva. They talk about a peace agreement with Israel that includes giving up the Golan Heights.
Within 24 hours, a powerful 6.9 earthquake rocks Southern California, This quake, centered in Northridge, becomes the second most destructive natural disaster to hit the United States, behind Hurricane Andrew.

January 21, 1998
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu meets with President Clinton at the White House and is coldly received. Clinton and Secretary of State Madeleine Albright refuse to have lunch with him.
Shortly afterwards on that day, the Monica Lewinsky scandal breaks into the mass media and begins to occupy a major portion of Clinton's time.

September 28, 1998
Secretary of State Albright works on the final details of an agreement in which Israel would give up 13 percent of Yesha (Judah and Samaria). Clinton also meets with Yasser Arafat and Netanyahu at the White House to finalize this land deal. Later, Arafat addresses the United Nations about declaring an independent Palestinian state by May 1999.
Hurricane George slams into the United States Gulf Coast with 110 mph winds and gusts up to 175 mph. The hurricane hits the coast and stalled. The hurricane George pounds the Gulf Coast, causing $1 billion in damage as Arafat addresses the U.N. At the exact time that Arafat departs the country, the storm begins to dissipate.

October 15-22, 1998
On October 15, 1998, Arafat and Netanyahu meet at the Wye River Plantation in Maryland. The talks are scheduled to last five days with the focus on Israel giving up 13 percent of Yesha. The talks are extended and conclude on October 23.
On October 17, awesome rains and tornadoes hit southern Texas. The San Antonio area is deluged with rain. The rain and flooding in Texas continue until October 22 and then subside. The floods ravage 25 percent of Texas and leave over one billion dollars in damage. On October 21, Clinton declares this section of Texas a major disaster area.

November 30, 1998
Arafat comes to Washington again to meet with President Clinton to raise money for a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as the capital. A total of 42 other nations were represented in Washington. All the nations agreed to give Arafat $3 billion in aid. Clinton promised $400 million, and the European nations $1.7 billion.
On the same day, the Dow Jones average drops 216 points, and on December 1, the European Market had its third worst day in history. Hundreds of billions of market capitalization were wiped out in the U.S. and Europe.

December 12, 1998
Clinton lands in the Palestinian-controlled section of Israel to discuss the “land for peace” process.
The House of Representatives votes four articles of impeachment against Clinton.

May 3, 1999
Yasser Arafat is scheduled to declare a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as the capital. The declaration is postponed to December 1999 at the request of President Clinton, whose letter to Arafat encourages him in his "aspirations for his own land." He also writes that the Palestinians have a right to "determine their own future on their own land" and that they deserve to "live free, today, tomorrow and forever."
The most powerful tornado storm system ever to hit the United States sweeps across Oklahoma and Kansas. The winds are clocked at 316 mph the fastest wind speed ever recorded.

Week of October 11, 1999
Jewish settlers in West Bank (Israel) settlements are evicted from the covenant land in Israel.
The Dow-Jones financial averages lose 5.7 percent in the worst week since October 1989. On October 15 the Dow lost 266 points, and a hurricane slams into North Carolina. On the next morning, October 16, a magnitude 7.1 earthquake rocks the southwest in the fifth most powerful earthquake in 20th Century. The earthquake was centered in the California desert and did little damage but was felt in three states.

August 22, 2005
The last of the Jewish settlers in Gaza are moved out.
One day later, Katrina forms, later devastating New Orleans in record time. Incidentally, 40 days later (Muslim period of mourning), a massive earthquake strikes Pakistan and Northern India--the heart of Muslim extremism and where those that laughed at the U.S. through Katrina live. The ratio of Americans displaced by Katrina to Israelis displaced was 10,000 to 1.

September 12, 2005
The last of the Jewish military leaves Gaza, and the Palestinians begin occupying Gaza, along with burning of Jewish homes and synagogues.
One day later, Rita forms and later makes landfall in Louisiana/Texas

Hurricane Season 2006
No notable moves against Israel by U.S.
Hurricane Season 2006 is virtually non-existent.

January 18, 2007
Condoleezza Rice meets with German Chancellor Andrea Merkel to update them on the status of dividing Israeli land for peace.
Hurricane-force winds and heavy downpours hammered northern Europe, the storms were among the fiercest to batter northern Europe in years as winds of up to 133 mph swept off the Atlantic and cut a swathe across Britain, northern France, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Poland, Belgium, the Czech Republic and into Russia. January 18, 2007 (continued)
Rice travels to London for a meeting with British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
1.) Rice's plane landed in gusts of up to 80 mph at London's Heathrow Airport, Europe's largest, canceled 280 flights. Other major airports, including Frankfurt, Munich, Amsterdam and Vienna - reported delays and cancellations. 2.) In London, harried commuters struggled through a gauntlet of road closures caused by falling debris blown from glass-paneled office buildings and medieval churches. 3.) February 2, 2007
Condoleezza Rice hosts the "Quartet" in Washington to discuss Middle East peace. A massive tornado strikes central Florida with a 40-mile wide path of destruction. At this time, nineteen are known dead.

The first ten can be verified here: http://www.truthorfiction.com/rumors/t/tenmajorevents.htm

The remainder I added by observation on my own, except for the high winds in Europe, which were reported elsewhere on the forum.

May we continue to watch and pray, redeeming the time to live and preach the gospel.

LADY LAKE, Fla. (AP) - Pulling blue tarps over the houses that still had walls, neighbors, jail inmates and National Guard troops picked up amid rain showers Saturday from dead-of-night thunderstorms that chewed through the middle of Florida, killing at least 20 people.

The victims ranged from a 92-year-old man to 17-year-old Brittany May, killed by a falling tree that crushed her bedroom.

President Bush designated four central Florida counties as disaster areas, releasing millions of dollars in aid for recovery and individual assistance.

"It makes you sick to your stomach for what we saw," David Paulison, director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, said after touring the area Saturday morning with Gov. Charlie Crist.

At least one tornado, with winds estimated at up to 200 mph, hit between 3 and 4 a.m. Friday, when few people were awake to hear tornado warnings on radio and TV.

The cleanup task was daunting Saturday as showers soaked roofless homes, and piles of twisted aluminum siding, bricks, belongings, tree limbs and lumber. Power lines were down and traffic signals out in many areas.

Neighbors helped Sherry Reeves, 48, sort through her belongings and patch a big hole in her roof. Reeves was amazed that her home wasn't leveled like hundreds of others in this area about 50 miles north of Orlando.

"The Good Lord slipped and missed, or luck of the draw," she said.

The governor, handling the first natural disaster since he took office, said some stricken areas looked like "the surface of the moon." Crist canceled plans to attend Sunday's Super Bowl in Miami to stay in central Florida.

Crist praised the residents and charitable groups who pitched in to help clean up. Neighboring Marion County sent a group of low-risk inmates, dressed in green-and-white striped jail clothes. Some religious groups served food to rescue workers and victims, while about 40 National Guard members distributed blankets, food and water.

"This is not just government. This is people helping people and doing what's right," Crist said at a news conference with Paulison, U.S. Sens. Bill Nelson and Mel Martinez and other officials.

Paulison said his agency, criticized for inadequate response to Hurricane Katrina and other disasters, had housing trailers, water trucks and other aid already on the way. Bush's disaster declaration for Lake, Sumter, Seminole and Volusia counties also frees up loans and other assistance to individuals.

Tate Tapscott, 38, who lives in an area called Cooter Lake, went looking for neighbors after the storm and found a father and son dead, buried under debris.

"He was still holding on to his son," Tapscott said.

Retired school bus driver Jamie Wright had fled South Florida a year ago to escape hurricanes, looking for a peaceful life farther north. Wright, 55, and her boyfriend Donald Lamond, 49, operators of a produce stand, were killed in their bed.

"We survived Hurricane Andrew in Homestead and it looked just like this," her son, Bryan McKiness, said as he collected mementos from the wreckage of his mother's home. "Mom said she'd had enough of hurricanes so she moved here. ... She was enjoying the good life."

The National Weather Service sent teams to study the damage for clues to the intensity and path of the thunderstorms that hit the area. Dave Sharp, a meteorologist with the weather service's office in Melbourne, said they suspected the region was struck by more than one tornado.

The main damage occurred along a 70-mile, west-to-east path with at least one break between Lady Lake and Paisley.

In the Paisley-Lake Mack area, a twister may have reached the fourth level of a new five-point tornado intensity scale, putting its wind speed at 166 mph to 200 mph, said Bart Hegemeyer, a member of the weather service research team. "It was incredibly strong," he said.

The wind picked up one tractor-trailer rig and slammed it down on top of another one. A church built to withstand a Category 4 hurricane was destroyed.

"To me it sounded like a mountain coming down," said Denise Anderson, 52.

My thoughts:
This Arctic air is the same air which helped create the Tornado in Florida.
It's a continuation of the Sign, Judgement.

Below-Zero Temps Close Schools

A bone-chilling Arctic cold wave with temperatures as low as 38 below (AP) -- zero shut down schools for thousands of youngsters Monday, halted some Amtrak service and put car batteries on the disabled list from the northern Plains across the Great Lakes.

The cold was accompanied by snow that was measured in feet in parts of upstate New York.

With temperatures near zero and a wind chill of 25 below, school districts across Ohio canceled classes. "We have a lot of kids that walk to school. We didn't think it was worth the risk," Sandusky City Schools Superintendent Bill Pahl said.

Wisconsin's largest school district, Milwaukee Public Schools, also shut down, idling some 90,000 children, and in upstate New York 34,000 kids got the day off in Rochester because of near-zero temperatures. Schools also closed in parts of Michigan. Even in Minnesota, where February cold is the norm and people are accustomed to coping, some charter schools closed.

The temperature crashed to 38 below zero Monday morning at Hallock in northwestern Minnesota, and to 30 below at International Falls, the weather service said.

Veterinarian Wade Himes wasn't too concerned as he ate breakfast at the Shorelunch Cafe in International Falls.

"We get up and go to work, and people come and see us. I don't think anything changes that much. (You) just dress warm," said Himes, 69.

Grand Forks, N.D., also registered 30 below.

"For this time of year, this isn't that unusual, as far as temperatures go," said weather service meteorologist Bill Abeling in Bismarck. "To get record temperatures this time of year in North Dakota, you've got to delve down in the 40-below region, so we're not even close."

Rhinelander, Wis., fell to 20 below, with a wind chill of minus 36.

Amtrak shut down passenger service in parts of western and northern New York state, where the cold was accompanied by as much as 2 feet of snow fed by moisture from the Great Lakes near Buffalo and Watertown.

South of Watertown, the weather service said 3 to 4 of snow was likely in the rural Tug Hill region, notorious for extremely heavy lake- effect snow accumulations.

Whiteout conditions and slippery pavement shut down a 38-mile stretch of the New York Thruway for several hours during the night.

At least 30 water main breaks were blamed on the cold in Detroit, city Water and Sewerage Department spokesman George Ellenwood told The Detroit News.

The cold also brought calls for help from car owners faced with dead batteries and frozen locks.

"During the weekend, 10,000 motorists called for assistance. And that's a record in recent years," Nancy Cain, spokeswoman for AAA Michigan, said Monday. "This morning we've already had 300 calls for help."

HONOLULU (KHNL) - Spring is nearly upon us, but a chill is sweeping the state.

With temperatures dipping into the 50's in some neighborhoods people are talking about the cold spell.

Beth Hillyer is live in Kalihi with more on the winter weather.

The place is packed at Boulevard Saimen in Kalihi.

Tiffany Robertson enjoys her bowl, "Oh yeah, saimen is the best when it's cold like this."

The manager likes the cold weather since customers are looking for a way to warm up.

"Saimen, it's warm when it's cold, it's the best thing you can eat, comfort food."

Others found comfort not in food but in a cup of hot coco.

Joann Matsuo admits it was so cold this morning she stayed in bed until noon. "It's actually warmer in here than out there. I am freezing. I heard tomorrow is going to be the coldest day of the winter. And I have a heating blanket I bought so hopefully that will be sufficient."

Others like the cold snap. Napoleon Arline says, "Well it's cool and I'm enjoying it but I like the cold weather always have. Chilly but good though I even had my air conditioner on though. "

And this couple still sips ice cold drinks. Barbara Valdez explains, "I moved here a year ago and this is the first time I put on sweater and jeans."

Gabriel Valenzuela adds, "You wake up feel cold breeze coming in the window and doesn't feel like Hawaii right now."

They are on their way to the Punahou carnival which will be chilly.

Valenzuela concludes, "Well I guess the good thing is that you have a good reason to cuddle and hug her now."

Saimin, hot chocolate and cuddling. Some creative ways of keeping warm.
THE SEVEN THUNDERS
It is fascinating how the Lord uses weather for His purposes for an aid to the Righteous (the fog that rolled in for the Normandy Invasion against the Germans), or as a judgment to the stray, and as a "sign" to be reckoned with. Do you recall how France and Germany condemned the U.S. effort in countering the evils of the 9/11 Terrorist Attack by Islamic terrorists harbored (and trained in terrorist camps) by Saddam Hussein's Iraq in the beginning of the Afghanistan/Iraq War, and how France and Germany did not support the War at all?

In the ensuing summer after the Iraq phase of the war was launched, all of Europe was horribly gripped and afflicted with a catastrophic and deadly heat wave of the most unprecedented nature, breaking all previous records. A total of 35,000 people throughout Europe perished from sweltering heat related complications. Germany had a death toll of 7,000 people, but France was hardest hit as the prime target of the heat wave with a staggering death toll of 15,000 people. Between France and Germany 22, 000 people perished.

Daniel Webster said, “Unmitigated evil flourishes when perfectly good men do nothing.”

Because France and Germany chose to do nothing in the face of True Evil, God’s judgment against those two countries was enormous. Germany received 2.3 times the punishment compared to the 3,000 American dead in the 9/11 Terrorist Attack; and France received 5 times the punishment compared to the 3,000 American dead in the 9/11 Terrorist Attack.

We worship a Mighty God… “’Vengeance is Mine,’ says the Lord."
