John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. NKJV

Light is not comprehended by darkness. Darkness is confused by light and repelled by light. The light challenges the darkness and the darkness will flee. As we walk in Him, the light of His presence in us displaces the darkness that is in our proximity. As I walk through cities and through nations, I often see each step that I take filled with light, displacing the darkness that is all around me. As Rivers of Eden goes forth, the light in us displaces the darkness around us. With each step, I oftentimes hear myself proclaiming, “Light, light, light!”

Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. NKJV

A great weapon of warfare is LIGHT. This light forms a path before me as I walk. The Light is the living reality of Jesus Christ, the Word of God. His word is filled with light and now, more than ever, we need to grasp this in days of encroaching darkness.

There are no shadows in light. Shadows are formed by mixture in light and darkness. We are either walking in the light with power or walking in the darkness. We must come forth from the shadows. The shadows are very dangerous for in the shadows there is mixture and compromise. Get in the light of Jesus Christ no matter what the cost.

In the coming days, the path before each of us will be easily distinguished by the amount of light on the path that God sets
out for each of us. Follow the light right through and amidst the darkness of this present age. The light of the Living Word takes us right into places of great challenge and yet this darkness does not understand this glorious light coming from a glorious church. While the darkness is stunned and confused by a glorious church filled with light, it will allow us time to strike in warfare with the light of His glorious Word. The darkness is confounded and confused by the light.

Hear by the Spirit! Walk in the light as He is in the light! Give up anything and everything that is tainted by the shadows of compromise and mixture. Get in the light of His glory!

Plant love in your heart! before you wag your tongue; ask yourself....is this for the glory of God or is this for me??? WWJD????? It is imperative that we cut the shorlines of self-ish-ness and let His love flow!

IF YOU WALK IN THE LIGHT
AS I AM IN THE LIGHT
YOU HAVE FELLOWSHIP
ONE WITH ANOTHER
AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS
CLEANSES FROM ALL SIN.

Christians Are Called to the King's High Way
by Betty Seiley

When we come to the Lord in repentance, trusting in His saving power through His Blood, we are saved, not only from our sins and from the awfulness of the kingdom of darkness, but we are saved to live in the righteousness of Christ, in His love, in His power, with the hand of His glory upon our lives. We are born into NEW LIFE in Christ Jesus and into His kingdom of light, where we are called to walk with Him daily on the King's High Way.

Because the Lord places His love in our hearts at salvation, a newly born Christian loves Jesus so fervently, that he or she can do little but tell others of what Jesus has done in their hearts and lives. Love for the Lord and the fiery love of God pours from the hearts of Christians immediately after they are saved, and this light of God continues shining indefinitely, until the world, the flesh, and the devil, which are the three enemies of every believer, begins to throw temptation into the pathway of the child of God. This is true especially in the Western world, where Christians have not suffered persecution as they have in other parts of the world. However, there is no excuse for leaving our first love, Jesus, the Lover of Our Souls.

Yielding to temptation by walking in the ways of the world invariably causes the child of God to think the Lord has left them. It is not the Lord who moved away. Prodigal sons and daughters have one thing to do...run back into the arms of our loving Heavenly Father, Who is standing, looking down the road, longing for the return of His beloved child. He even has a celebration, a robe, and a ring to welcome His prodigal child back into glorious fellowship. Luke 15

When a Christian chooses the low road and returns to sinful ways, the sting of sin is always lying in wait for that precious one. Someone has wisely said, "Sin will take you farther than you want to go, make you stay longer than you want to stay, and cost you more than you want to pay." I personally believe that a Christian who has chosen to walk the low road of sin is the most miserable person in the world. The Word of God describes a believer who makes that wrong turn, as being like "a dog that returns to its vomit." This is so far below where the Lord has made provision for us to walk with Him on the King's Highway. It is, spiritually, like choosing road kill, or carrion, over a meal fit for a king.

I believe that most Christians would agree that, in the West, the world, the flesh (carnality), and the devil work overtime, subtly, to cause Christians to stumble and fall back into sinful practices. America, Europe, all of western civilization, really, the whole earth, is in great need of a mighty move of the Holy Spirit, bringing sanctification where it is needed in Christians' lives and saving faith to the lost. Let it be so, O, Lord!

However, since the Lord made us creatures of choice, and not robots, we can choose to answer the call to the King's Highway. As we press into the Lord's Presence, living our lives watching and praying, as Jesus instructed us to do, we can be vessels of gold and silver, instead of vessels of clay in the house of the Lord. The choice is ours. A believer and Jesus is ALWAYS a majority. The world, the flesh, and the devil are no match for us and the Lord. "Now thanks be unto God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ Jesus, and uses us to spread the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing; to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life ..." 2 Corinthians 2:14-16

Galatians 6:

14But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

Galatians 5:
13 For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

14 For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, "YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF."

15 But if you bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another.

16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.

17 For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please.

18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law.

19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality,

20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions,

21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

(The kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17 If we follow the world, the devil, or the flesh, carnality, to these extremely low roads, the righteousness, peace, and joy of God are not going to be evident in our lives. After Cain killed Abel, God asked him why was his countenance cast down, and God answered the question Himself. He said, "Sin is crouched at the door.)"

Most Christians would never kill a brother or sister physically, but heart attitudes and words can wound and kill, we all know from God's Word.

1 John 2:9
The one who says he is in the Light and yet hates his brother is in the darkness until now.

1 John 2:10
The one who loves his brother abides in the Light and there is no cause for stumbling in him.

1 John 2:11
But the one who hates his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

1 John 3:10
By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.

Even though it is possible for a believer to sin after salvation, we are not to practice sin on a daily basis. "If we sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the Righteous." 1 John 2 We repent of our sin and receive cleansing, trusting Jesus to help us to live sanctified lives.

1 John 3:12
not as Cain, who was of the evil one and slew his brother And for what reason did he slay him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother's were righteous.

Our salvation is through the Blood of Jesus only, but we are foreordained unto good works that we may glorify our Father. Ephesians 2:8-10

1 John 3:13
Do not be surprised, brethren, if the world hates you.

1 John 3:15
Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

Galatians 5:
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

24 Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh (carnality) with its passions and desires.

25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Hebrews 1:8 But of the Son He says,
"YOUR THRONE, O GOD, IS FOREVER AND EVER,
AND THE RIGHTEOUS SCEPTER IS THE SCEPTER OF HIS KINGDOM.
9"YOU HAVE LOVED RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HATED INIQUITY;
THEREFORE GOD, YOUR GOD, HAS ANOINTED YOU
WITH THE OIL OF GLADNESS ABOVE YOUR COMPANIONS."

Walking with Jesus on the King's High Way is unquestionably the road to victory in this life and eternally. If you're not on the King's High Way today, take the exit to His high road.
Lovingly,
Betty Seiley

The Glass City
by Sandy Warner
www.thequickenedword.com

VISION: I saw a beautiful city of glass in the sky. All the buildings were sparkling transparent and built with all windows. They sparkled from within and also reflected the light from without. It was a brilliant sparkle as crystal clear diamonds in the sky.

HEARD: Do you know them? They live by My Word.

WORD TO PONDER: LIVING IN GLASS HOUSES 12/01/06

Those Who love Me live in the light. There is no shadow or turning. They resist the darkness and flee from such. They do not hide from the light, but rather run and open themselves to My light. They gladly bare their hearts, just to release My love and sweet perfume upon those who would receive. They walk with integrity and pure motive; all around them see their hearts and lives for who they really are.

If they are weak, then they are weak, if they are strong, then they are strong. If they struggle, then they say so. Having My light within them, they release their faith and their testimony through all they are overcoming, through living by My Word. It is My Word that sustains them and My Word that keeps them. My Word shines upon them and lights their way. These, My beloved ones, live in My glass city; the city that shines like clear diamonds in the light of My glory.

Rev 21:18; 21; 23-27 NKJV

The construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. ... And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.... The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light . And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. Its gates shall not be shut at all by day(there shall be no night there). And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

Have to say "Goodbye" to frustrations........
He has a light for us to carry! His Word is a lamp unto our feet and a lite unto our path.. dark out....but we are holding a lamp. Read Ps. 112 & 119.... Don't let loose of lantern. None of this is too hard for the Lord. If we think of how the Lord will do it for us we will go nuts. Ps. 119:105

It is not as dark as we think!
