Full Version: Walk In Love - Not Loyalty!

You are entering a short season that will require continued flexibility. The more determined you are to have your way and the more rigid you are in keeping your schedule the more difficulties you will face. If you will hold your plans loosely it will be easier to make changes when necessary. Be sensitive to the leading of My Spirit. As you yield to My flow, I will move you in a flow of blessings that will serve you well, says the Lord. Proverbs 16:9 A man's heart plans his way, but the LORD directs his steps.

well...it's time to flow and it's time to grow.....IN THE LOVE ARENA ...as we sense that something is getting ready to explode!IPB Image

"He who rebukes a man will find more favor afterward than he who flatters with the tongue." Proverbs 28:23 (NKJV)

Loyalty was birthed to uphold another man's righteousness, never to keep secret their sin!

Many people become masters at avoiding or distorting the truth, because they refuse to confront others over their sin. It seems as though many Christians play a game with each other. We've all heard the phrase "there is 'honor' among thieves." Well, there's that "false honor" among Christians, as well. It's an unspoken understanding that says, "We're not going to discuss the real issues. And as long as all of us do not discuss the real issues, the real issues don't exist."

But that definitely is not true. Those issues do exist. Many times we fool ourselves and call it walking in love, not realizing we consent to another's spiritual death. So don't overlook someone else's sin in the name of loyalty. Confront their sin and help them walk free from the chains that bind them.

As we spend time with Him, who is LOVE......that LOVE just flows thru us, out to those who are hungry and thirsty for more in this hour. He is the answer to this world. He is the way, the truth and the life. We are just conduits of His oracle in this hour. So all we need be is obedient and let the river of God arise and flow thru us...bringtin newness of life to many.

JUST JUMP IN THE RIVER OF LIFE AS IT GOES BY OUR DOOR
of Jesus and HIs word - we want more and more and more
Drinking of this new wine and giving it away for sure
not quenching the spirit and staying pure

It is more blessed to give than to receive!

"I am preparing you to send you forth.

When I send you out, it will not be to receive glory, nor honor, nor praise from men, but rather it will be to give; to freely give that which I have given to you.

I will reveal myself to others through you, for you shall be a channel for My blessings, My Spirit, My testimonies, My love, and My power.

They will know that you are not of this world when they see that you not only love your brethren, but you also love your enemies, speaking evil of no man.

They will know that you are Mine when they see that you have no desire for any vain glory or that you should be exalted.

Only Me", says the Lord. "Only I shall receive the glory for all the blessings and gifts that I have blessed you with.

They shall know that you are not of this world when you do not fear their fears, nor dread their dreads; for all of your focus shall be on Me, and not on the changing, uncertain circumstances of this world.

They will know that you are Mine because no man shall be able to gainsay or overthrow the words that come forth out of your mouth; for I shall be the words that come forth out of your mouth, and My words always perform that which I declare.

I am preparing those who are willing to receive Me;

I am preparing those who believe My words;

I am preparing those who love Me, giving Me their hearts and their minds.

I am preparing those who desire to know Me.

I am preparing those who have humbled their hearts before Me, who are asking Me to prepare their hearts and their minds", says the Lord.

"I am preparing you to be My blessing to all of those around; a blessing that gives without expecting anything in return. Now receive My preparation, so that I may use you to give". by Mitt
. . . . . . . . . .

In my heart I had suddenly changed directions. I would intentionally look outward with a new dedication to the cause for Jesus, by simply choosing to show His love to all, refusing to ask for anything in return. Softly I said, "Yes." Smiling now in knowing the Lord would help me, I finished, " I can love."

And if I have prophetic powers and understand all the secret truths and mysteries and possess all knowledge, and if I have faith so that I can remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

Even if I dole out all that I have (to the poor in providing) food, and if I surrender my body to be burned or in order that I may glory, but have not love (God's love in me), I gain nothing.

Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.

It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride);
it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly.

Love does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it (it pays no attention to a suffered wrong).

It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.

Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything (without weakening).

Love never fails.

Hidden In the Quiver

God's Voice

Don't you love the way Jesus speaks to us in thousands of different ways? Truly, He is omnipresent! He is in a cloud the size of a man's hand, and in the face of child. He is in the noisy marketplace, and He is the still small voice amidst an earthquake.

God's Counsel

Recently, the Holy Spirit kept whispering counsel, "Stay hidden in the quiver." We must stand in awe as we search out God's word, as His life-giving treasure flows into jars of clay. Isn't it amazing that whatever we pour ourselves into pours into us and then out to others? Beloved, whatever we worship becomes a part of us.

The Word says, "He made me into a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver" (Isaiah 49:2).

A quiver, of course, is "a case or sheath for carrying arrows," a part of the ordinary equipment of the warrior, both foot soldier and charioteer (Job 39:23; Isaiah 22:6), and of the huntsman (Genesis 27:3). We also find passages where children (Psalms 127:5), or prophets of Yahweh (Isaiah 49:2), are spoken of as arrows. Arrows are called, "sons of the quiver" (Lamentations 3:13).

God's Warriors

Friends, as warriors for our Commander in Chief, arrows of the Lord, we must learn to "stay hidden in the quiver," only to be released directly at a bull's-eye when God's mighty right hand sends us. It seems I keep hearing people say, "God has had me hidden for a long time." It's as if we're waiting for God to rip off a cover and say, "Ta da, here she is, here he is!" Truly, I do understand what they're saying, but just think what would really happen if God removed His covering. Yes, he does call and then commission. But, He may only "send us out" for an hour to share about Jesus on the street, or forty-five minutes to be a peacemaker, or three days to attend a conference. After all, it really doesn't take very long for an arrow to accomplish its purpose.

God's Weapons

The sheath is the rendering of the Hebrew "teli," which means "a suspended weapon," literally "that which hangs from one," i.e. is suspended from the shoulder or waist. Kind of sounds like a branch hanging from the vine doesn't it? What an honorable position, a suspended weapon hanging from the pierced side of Christ, released only by His Spirit.

God's Timing

Sometimes I watch people send themselves, aggressively pushing open doors. Inside I feel sadness for them, having witnessed this before. In my heart, I know the doors they pushed open will only remain so temporarily, and then God will have to close them. Sometimes He must protect us from ourselves. His timing is perfect; He must have all things in Divine alignment before sending His "arrows." Granted, it takes years for God to work His patience within us, but oh, dear friends, what a wonderful Divine exchange takes place through those years. James sums it up so well. "Knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing" (James 1:3, 4).

God's Motivation

When "arrows" are sent by the hand of God, we can rest assured that He is our reward (Isaiah 52:12 KJV). He uses the dead enemies of our past as ammunition to catapult us, shooting life into the body of Christ. Once we learn not to make the same mistakes again, and again, God releases us more frequently into a season of soaring. He also promises to be our vanguard. How marvelous is that? He's not only the power behind His arrows; He is also the dunamis going before us.

Friends, don't grow weary for, "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint (Isaiah 40:31). Listen, the longer you wait the stronger you get!

God's Mysteries

In conclusion, there are two kingdom mysteries revealed here by the Holy Spirit. First, we aren't finished waiting until we no longer strive to wait, but simply abide by Jesus' side. We must be as the Lord, unhasting and unresting. He is always at work in our lives although sometimes it is so subtle that we do not perceive it. We must always be prepared, in and out of season. Even when we can't see the whole target, we know, by faith, that each arrow is making a difference, perhaps preparing the way for someone else, or piercing the darkness.

God's Purposes

Second, we won't come out of hiding until it no longer matters to us if we do. We must realize that it's crucial to always remain hidden in the quiver, in Christ, for a lifetime. Our Heavenly Father hides those He loves and if arrows don't stay hidden/protected, they can become damaged, beaten up, dull and incapable of hitting the bull's-eye.

"[God] made my mouth like a sharpened sword, in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me into a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver" (Isaiah 49:2).

Lord Jesus, as the battle intensifies I submit myself to Your mighty hand today. May I be a swift arrow of light to the world as the darkness increases. I thank you that I lack nothing as you release me, only in accordance with your Divine timing. May I be sharp and accurate, even in what may seem like your small assignments. I pray that each flight be filled with love as not to be blunt or useless. Help me remember that grandiose targets are no good if they are not accomplished, if they are not Your will. Teach me to take pleasure in staying hidden in Your quiver all the days of my life, so that You, My King, may be glorified.
