Dec 30, 2006 marks the hanging of Saddam Hussein.

Also it was a like a New Year's beginning for Iraq as they celebrate Eid ul-Adha.

Think what got my attention is that Saddam Hussein is a so-called Taurus and he died a Capricorn.

Taurus and Capricorn are 120 degrees from each other and is considered positive.

I guess when it goes to Islam, it's a positive sign that a Taurus dies on Capricorn.

Besides that Iraqis like opposite of Chinese.

Iraqis which do Islam start their like New Year on a Full Moon which started December 30, 2006.
The Chinese start the New Year on a New Moon which starts February 18, 2007.

Like Gerald Ford, the 38th President.
He was born a Cancer and died a Capricorn: US Astrology has bearing.
Cancer and Capricorn are 180 degrees of each other and bad.
(even though he's Episcopal)

So if one wants to think about Islam, it's the opposite of Christianity.

Because it's a Holiday in Iraq, it's o.k. for a Taurus to die.

I guess that's why they called Saddam Hussein a marytr.

Also in Iraq like Phiippines is two things
There's Christian Filipino and Muslem Filipino.

It's like chocking a Rooster, Saddam died at 69.
I dawn a Black Lacoste cap knowing it's a dawn of new era.

uh...I don't think astrology has anything to do with Christianity. Sorry to pop your bubble (or your "Hubble"?).

I was an astrologer for years. Don't even go there. You don't know what you are saying. wub.gif

Bible Prophecy is a lot simpler... 1dsz5e4.gif

I've heard different things about astrology - I always thought, up until about 6 years ago that it was fine to watch the stars, and study astrological movement, until a pastor told me it was evil, and against God....yet the bible has astrology throughout it - the wise men followed the star to find Jesus, the stars are mentioned in numerous passages...which is right?

I plead ignorance on this one, as I have heard so many different views.

Astrology is not about our future, it's all about Jesus. His destiny and eternal reign are written in the stars, whom he created.
The maggi were looking at the stars in the right way since it LEAD them to the infant Jesus... laugh.gif cool.gif

I believe the stars are "for signs" as quoted in the book of Genesis, for the purpose of knowing when to plant and harvest (seasonal signs) but as far as telling the future, it is forbidden. The wise men (my opinion) probably had knowledge of a certain celestial event which gave them indication when Christ would be born. I have no idea what that celestial sign would be, but I don't think it had anything to do with astrology, although astrology was invented in Babylon. The wise men were supposedly from Persia, and the name Esther means star, so there might be a clue in the book of Esther. (just a hunch). Perhaps Jesus was born around the time of Purim? That sort of fits with the idea that Haman tried to slaughter the Jews and Herod tried to slaughter Jesus. The book of Daniel might have had some insight to this as well which might have been encrypted in his calculations of when Jesus would be born.

Astrology borders on the "worship" of the "heavenly host".

It's odd how Esther keeps coming up in the discussions about Saddam and Jesus' birth.

Glory to God, he must be on His way back!

The astrologers prognostications will be darkened (their astrological predictions will fall to the ground, symbolic of the heavens being shaken? It will take them all completely by surprise)

Matthew 24

29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Astrology and the Gospel have abolutely nothing in common. You cannot follow Astrology and Jesus.
Astrology is the opposite of Christ.

As far as cheering the execution of Saddam. The only thing you or any of us really know about him is what those talking heads on neo com talk radio or that "21" Peephole into paradise" tells us about him.
Even if he was as bad as they accuse him of being.

Eze 18:23 Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD. Rather, am I not pleased w when they turn from their ways and live.

God does not take pleasure in the demise of the wicked and niether should we.

I hope you are not saying I was cheering his execution. I was not tying astrology to Jesus, either, but on the contrary I was saying the astrologers are going to be taken completely by surprise. You've heard that song "Age of Aquarius" haven't you? Those people who believe that nonsense about "peace guiding the planet and love steering the stars" are going to mourn because they rejected Jesus and worshipped Lucifer and his host of fallen angels.

If you are addressing the author of this thread, then I say "amen" and I exhort the author of this thread to repent and find out what the will of God is.

Sadam was a murderer, and per Dad's law, he died for his crimes against mankind. From the first glint of light from the sun to the last puff into darkness, the law will never be changed. You murder someone, you die. Its not a personal forgiveness issue, it's a national legal issue. Hussein killed thousands of innocent people for no real reason, so he was a murderer, and seeing as 5,000 years ago he would have been bludgeoned to death by large rocks from a distance rather than killed instantly via hanging, I'd say he got off rather easily. Sorry to be so cold about it, but good riddance to murderous lunatics.
