In going through the ongoing trials and struggles of life, I was given this word:

"My child, I am removing hindrances to your growth. You are not fighting alone. My angels have charge over you. They are fighting mightily to secure your continued following after Me in faith. Your spiritual enemy has been resisting you, for your potential to be My witness has shocked him into action. But My power and arm are not shortened, as I won this and all battles at the cross of Golgotha. He attacks your mind with deception to persuade you from My righteous cause. Be strong and persevere, for when this battle for your mind is fought, future opposition will seem as nothing! Victory is certain as you maintain unflinching faith. My grace abounds towards you. Your mind may even presently be awash with satanic doubt, but know that it is he that tears down, and I that build up! My promises are yes and amen unto the glory of God. As you grow, you will learn to trust me with your very life as you have never trusted before! You shall be a surrendered vessel that I call into My service. My light and My love are with you! Do truth and be free, for this pleases Me greatly!"

I have had it very hard and it is not the outward thing but the inward which persists in eroding that which I have by way of tools and weapons of warfare. I am languishing in areas of endeavour which place one at risk to do and to be according to the known will of God. I have been unfaithful to that cause and have fallen short many a time, allowing the flesh to have the ascendancy. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

I have been about to give up the fight and then this word was given ..related in the title..."At least there is still a war!" I asked the Lord, "You mean I should be thankful that there is a war?" He said, "As long as there is a battle, then there is an expected outcome. If you quit or give up, the war is over. In any war there is a victor and there is a defeated party.

I have told you in My word, the word of My power..For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

You must take the shield of faith and wear the armour of God in all perseverence, for the enemy is real, but he is indeed a defeated foe and not worthy of a hearing save it be you adopt his deceptive rhetoric to expect otherwise. This is his only power over you, and this is the way of the devil, for he can only win by deception. Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; Who hath saved us, and called [us] with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

....very honest, and a heavy burden too. I've carried the same, now willingly without complaint.

I will believe you where thousands wouldn't... I have seen your burden and complaint lately...

Thank you...yes, I have complained. I admit it, but strangely I feel no shame for it
