I like that KD. I have been thinking along that line for some time now. Well I have been thinking am I cursing the darkness or am I helping with the light for other to follow. I am trying to be a light.
I have a 7 yr. old living with us and he is so great. At church yesterday the minster said God made us and he spoke up and said I thought we are made from cells. So I have my work cut out for me but what if I can make a difference with him, that is what it is all about.
I have put up a chart for him and he get money for reading the Bible and learning a Bible verse. He learn John 3:16 yesterday. He had so many questions for me about God. One was if God is so good then why did he let daddy hurt me. Hard questions as you can see.

We cant always look at the bad because there is always good. No matter what happens they get to take away with them a message from God and that is God loves thems.
We have to find our calling and help people along the way. We cant just sit back and watch from a distance. We have to speak up and with our actions in order to be a light for someone else.
We will always be a witness but it is up to us to be a good one or a bad one. We have to decide what kind of light we have to be.

That's what I see as people try to appear as one there truly not....Not a candle at all, just an appearence. A true "candle" leaves behind not only a light, but the warmth that light brings...
People work on emotions before they will allow the Holy Spirit to work through them....That's what I see....IMHO............

we are to be that light jesus talks about but how can we be that light to the lost and to those around us if we give lip service and cant walk in unity with our other brothers and sisters in the lord who belong to other denominations my pastor only talked about this to what i bought up last sunday in church and we have seen also this from with in
we are an open book to those around us

15 nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket but on a lampstand and it gives light to all who are in the house

no use saying i am a true follower of christ if we cant walk in unity with our other breathren who belong to other denominations and no use giving out quotes if we cant apply what we hear being preached from the pulpit over our lives and do what jesus taught his disciples and that is love one another

when we are willing to lay down our pride our personal ambition our comfort our reputation our possesions our very lives so that other people will reap the benefit we will begin to reflect an aspect of the relationship between the father and the son

the lord has been placing this latley on my heart a fair bit the lord realy broke me but the more i look at what has happend since i have been back to australia i am seeing that it is something that needed to happen and i thanked my partner and her pastrol team as they prayed that god would show me how much he loves me as my partner said to me be ready to see god do some amazing things and i am blown away by what i saw while i was in the phillippines
my partners members do as jesus taught his disciples and they live such simple lives and i can see why god moves among the poor and why their is such love for their brothers and sisters in the lord
i am guilty and i have had to let go of sevral things i hate arguing hear on this forum and every time the flesh props up i am having to rebuke it as it has been my hearts prayer that we can put our diffrences aside and learn to walk in unity with each other i have just been going over my recent posts i have left hear and i cant take back what i have said but i can change what i say in the futer
but its not going to stop me from speaking from the heart my pastor said something last sunday that has stuck as he preached on walking in unity and how we need each other no matter what denomination we belong to we all pray to the same god we all read from the same bibles we have gifts that can be used to advance the kingdom but instead of using these gifts god has given us to advance the kingdom we come at each other even if we do not mean what we leave in our posts
our tounges can do a fair bit of damage what puzzles me is this why cant we walk as one why cant we do what jesus prayed over his disciples in john 17 why cant we put our doctrines aside and put the hand out
this is what the holy spirit has been placing on my heart and i was talking to my partner last night as the phillippines had a bad earthquake and then the rain kept on pooring down my partners grand mothers house got soaked and so did our church in lacastaliana as one of our members put out buckets and pots even our two bedrooms got a fair bit of rain
yet i said i too am feeling this but i am needed hear and i wil be back this time for 6months the people in her country have not got what we have kansas dad but they give with out complaining they put into practise to what they hear preached from the pulpit and i was blown away by the way her members welcomed me
eveyone was making sure i was ok even though i did not know how to speak my partners language as she preaches in english and her own language yet the holy spirit helped me and i understood what my partner was preaching
each church has a role to play with in the communities they are planted in their should be no need for divison and their should be no need for this hatred towards each other this is something that we as a church are praying for and we are asking that lord helps us reach out to those from the broader part of our christian community
that is why i said what i said in the post i left kansas dad i am trying my best too not let my flesh come out on this forum and i am going to try my best to put the hand out instead of alowing my tounge to do the talking
so i hope also this thread is a starting point were we learn from one another and try to put our diffrences aside i do not like arguing with my other brothers hear on this forum i am not hear to argue but i am hear to see what god is doing around the world and i am also hear to be encouraged and i hope i can do the same for some one else
may be i have gone of track by what i have left hear i hope i have not gone of track but i feel i needed to say this
how i see what it says in gods word is for my self i take what it says in gods word seriouse and i dare not mock god like i use to when i was young i do not want to bring in confusion or do i dare try to lead any one astray i love reading the bible and i wil not stop reading the bible or applying what i read over my life i am not perfect but i deal with my own flaws and i am glad jesus does not throw my past in my face

thanks fearles you need not worry about me my eyes are set on jesus and not what my flesh wants also my eyes are set to the futer god has for me in my new country and i wil be glad once all the paper work is out the way and i am working by my partners side
