Full Version: Are You A Draft Dodger?

Get into the wind of the Spirit. Flow with Him and He will show you great and mighty things which thou knowest not..

Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Joh 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Joh 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. Joh 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

If you are not born again unto a lively hope, then you cannot hear the voice of the Spirit in the wind of the Spirit.

1Pe 1:3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1Pe 1:4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 1Pe 1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

I am called to write a book...I just do not have the content yet. I have a gift of words and that is often taken (negatively) as a form of high mindedness. I often get "wordy" on purpose. Even though it can send a message of impropriety and vainglory. It is funny how that works. My local pastor has enjoyed my ability to put certain words in a context of truth while couching them in humility...but that only comes in face to face relationships...the written word is a barren landscape as respecting the emotion of the soul and the reflection of the eye. For you to say what you have said, Laurel, indicates you are in the wind (of the Spirit) yourself. I have enjoyed your down to earth and homey (comfortably informal and inviting; cozy; homelike) style of relating on this forum...Grace and peace to you ...3Jo 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

The main reason you see "edited by fervent" so often is because I simply cannot stand typos and I have to correct everything I see with a passion bordering on compulsive...

sleep.gif I thought I was called to write a book, was even given the content. But then "freely you have received, freely give..." hit me...So I freely gave the content out....

Maybe your call is not in the "gift of words" but in the "call" of an Evangelist. With the words of an Evangelist it draws the lost to fall in love with the Lord. Your words sway the spirit and draw those to drink.

As do yours Pamela wub.gif I am not into profiteering either...

1Co 14:6 Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?
