My great aunt Anne (she is 94) has alzheimer and my great uncle Joseph (93) has had a cardiac arrest for taking care of her hand and feet. Now for the first time since they have been married, they are separated for health issues. She is in a hospice and he is in the hospital. My dad who takes care of both says he has seen him cry many times.

As for my great aunt, she doesn't recognize any one, for obvious reasons, much less her dear husband; she is in her own world.

Please pray for their salvation; both could die before this year is over and I am worried. I know I shouldn't because I've prayed for them, but I guess it's just human nature.

Also I have another great aunt who is sick (just tired, old age) (Gertrude, 87; she was always with my gt. aunt Anne and my gt. uncle Joseph); they made a trio; Gertrude has been widow since 40 years and never remarried so great was her love for her only husband.

Please pray for her salvation as well.

Lord, I thank you that these people will not leave this earth one day sooner that you have layed out for them.... Lord, it is your will that none should perish, please Lord reach these elderly folk in the last years of thier lives...... thank you for thier neice who has a heart for what truly matters. Bless her greatly in every way, in her marraige, thier finances and her book being published.

The end of life is hard for those who remain. My prayer is added to those who have held you up to our God! Father, precious in your sight is the death of your saints!! But there is one of the three whose soul's state is not know. You know Father!! Preserve the three be reaching out your forgiveness in these her finally hours! May she be added to the fold!!

MY AUNT ANNE DIED YESTERDAY. SHE WILL BE BURRIED IN WISSEMBOURG FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

TO ME IT REPRESENTS THE END OF AN ERA. WE HAVE A VERY RARE NAME AND THE ONLY ONE NAMED LIKE ME (MY MAIDEN NAME) IN THE WORLD WAS HER; AS A MATTER OF FACT, I WAS NAMED AFTER HER.

SO IT FEELS STRANGE...

only 4 persons carry that strange name: her husband (my great uncle, NOW DEMENTIAL since he had a stroke which took some blood away from his brain), my dad, his brother and my brother.

Please pray for my uncle Joseph. He was married to my aunt Anne for 70 years.

Our God is merciful. Have mercy on Joseph I pray, in Jesus Name, amen.
