Dear Jesus, You are the one that is worthy to be sought when we are ill or near death because You Lord and You alone can heal and even bring one up from death. In YOUR NAME and Yours alone I pray Dear Savior and Great Physician that You would heal Benny's Father and that You alone would recieve the glory.
Because You alone ar worthy Lord to be Glorified!
Thank You Lord for always listening to Your children and hearing our prayers.

Dad had a major stroke with several mini strokes that followed.......Doctors said that his right side of the brain was damaged ........the area that operates breathing.......doctors said that his breathing will slowly deteriorate, until he stops breathing.....only Jesus can pull him out of this...................................Thank you all for your prayers.........................................benny

Lord, please I pray that whatever the outcome is about Benny's dad, the day he dies he will go to Heaven; be with him Lord, minister to him like only you can do, Lord. Ease his pains, help him, like only you can do. Give him your peace, Lord. And help Benny; he needs you more than ever; give him peace as well.

Oh Benny, I'm so sorry!!!

But Benny, rejoice, for he is born again! What a blessing! My dad is getting on in age too and he is still not born again. But I know and believe he will be before he dies.

The other day, they called me for my birthday, and I was telling my dad that he had to be born again to go to Heaven when he dies. He first started joking, saying but you were born already. I said yes, but you have to be born of the spirit. What surprised me is that he did not get angry and nervous, and willing to fuss and argue as he usually does, but he was LISTENING!!!

Praise God for his salvation, and for the salvation of my mother Beatrice, brother Philippe, sister Nathalie, brother-in-law Yannis, my two nieces Daphne and Helene.

I weep with you Benny...my mom's passing was three months ago today...SO I FEEL YOUR PAIN! I will be praying you and yours feel His peace as I have through all of this. There are still "way sad days" but He always helps me to overcome them, amen! and prayers for you and yours, hannah but, also knowing...

Im so very sorry Benny,
I know that when we lose someone that we really love, with this kind of Father-Son love,
Its very difficult and we need and want to be comforted so badly.

I pray the Father to give you that comfort and I certainly do weep with you.

Praise the Lord for his new heavenly residence.

Hi Benny! God is with you! I know how it was when my father died! I just wished that we could have been closer but it was not to be. That has been several years ago and I still think about him. The thing that struck me to most was that made me the senior member of my whole family. I try to be close to them all.
God will be with you and you are right that you will see him again as I will mine. There is no doubt.

So so sorry to hear about your dad. I'm waiting to hear about my mom, she has terminal stage IV lung cancer and 6 months ago she started chemo but only has a matter of time, now it's just palliative care to make her comfortable. She's only 63 and it is really hard on us. I saw her at Thanksgiving and we all made peace. I think she feels that she can feel free to go any time now...

Sorry about your dog WhiteKnight... that is sad too...

But rejoice! For we will all see each other again in heaven. Losing a loved one is the hardest thing ever, even a dog, a cat, a bird... it's life that gives us joy, but not in this world, in Jesus' world.

I haven't myself had any lost of person dear to me in the past 10 years, but I had plenty of pets full of love. I remember my first cat Romeo, he used just to tremble for love in my arms... He died run over by a car; he was only a year and a half old...


The lady I work for sold her farm. There used to be stray cats there that we fed, until we stopped feeding them altogether since she had moved to another location. We did come from time to time though, to pick up more stuff and I usually had some food for a black stray cat, whom I nicknamed "Bibi". He used to fear humans, but allowed me to pet him when he was very hungry. He forgot how scared he was...
The last time I saw him alive, I had some pate with me; I petted him and I could feel the bones in his back. He meowed as if he was starving. As a matter of fact, he barely ate anything!
I tried to encourage him, but to no avail.

Then the week thereafter, my boss told me she found him dead in a barn. I saw him and cried. No doubt he had starved to death!

It takes time to grieve, even an animal. They can offer you such unconditional love... They love you no matter how a sour apple you are! They trust you so much!

I remember once I saw on CNN a programm where (somewhere in Asia) they KILLED cats for their fur..
Two cats in a crate (a black one and a red one) were HUGGING each other, KNOWING their fate... The humans reached to them with a lasso kind of rope, and strangled them purely and simply, in front of their companions of infortune... I had to stop before they could finish the act. You could see the cats struggling to live, and seeing their companions die in front of their very eyes...

Boy, did I cry after that...

Sorry to hear about your mother Rose. Cancer can be a long struggle. May God's healing hand be with your mother and the whole family! It is good that there is peace with her and the family. You know that to be with God is life and not death. But it is sad to witness the struggle!!! Make her days and your days as light as possible.
