====================================

My Precious and beautiful Church, how I love you. How I hold you close to My chest, and call you My own. I have bought you with a price, you are now given the right to stand before Me, righteous and approved. It is because of My Son's blood and My Son's death and resurrection that you are set free, that you are given the right to eternal life and relationship with Me.

My Church, stop in your tracks, stop in your movement right now and listen to My Spirit. Listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. The Spirit is saying "Come Up Here", "Come Up Here and let me show you Great and Marvellous things".

Church, this is My Spirit calling to you for greater intimacy with Me. This is My Spirit calling to each of you to continue to walk in sacrifice of your time and efforts, and sow into your time with Me. Sow into your relationship with Me. Sow into coming closer to Me.

I have opened the floodgates of heaven and am calling out to you My church to come up here. Step up the stairway of heaven and know Me. What is the stairway you ask? The stairway is your communion with Me, your time with Me. I am at each step, I meet each of you at every step, but am always wanting to take you higher My church. This stairway is not to find Me, this stairway is the journey each of you are walking with Me, stairway into deeper relationship with Me.

As you increase in your communion and and time with Me, you will be brought higher in Me, and higher into My throneroom where I will show you great and marvellous things.

For the revelations that flow from My throne and not cheap, these are not things to be toyed with. My revelations I shower on those I can trust, those that will keep these revelations close to their hearts, and not do with them, what I have asked My church not too.

Listen My church and you will hear My heart beating, the beat of My heart crying "Come Away My Church, Come Away". Come away into the quiet place, come away, continue to rise up on the stairway of heaven, let the time you spend with Me, and your deeper communion with Me draw you closer to Me.

My Spirit will carry you higher in Me!!!!

Your intimacy with Me is your greatest weapon My church!!! Our hearts entwined together, none can seperate.

When My heart is entwined in deep ways with My children, the enemy cannot stand, for the strength comes from the union and relationship we share. The victory that comes from the Cross.

Now is the time Church! Do not delay! Do not resist the call, for the whirlwind that is about to hit My church, the shaking that will increase, many will NOT endure this season and stand firm, if this call isn't answered.

If the price isn't paid as My universal church, and individually in the days to come, you will not stand. Your roots will wither, and you will surely die, your spirit will wither, and the enemy shall feast upon you.

Intimacy with Me, is your greatest weapon Church!!!

Many are looking how to fight the enemy with different strategies and prayers, come to Me, deepen your relationship with Me, press into Me more and more, and you will see that all else will flow out of this, the enemy is already defeated and you will continue to see the manifestation of that victory My church, as you climb the stairway of heaven.

Speak. I have not called you to be silent. You are the light of the world. As salt and light you can release what is needed to those who come to you. Do not be timid or self-conscious. I have called you to speak in truth and love.

Break the word-curses spoken against people. Speak truth. You can break the bonds of those caught in lies. Bind up the wounds of the broken-hearted, those who feel unloved. Feed the oppressed with the bread of life. I am the freedom that creates hope.

Speak hope. Pray my words into the wind that I may carry it forth. Do not be silent in the face of accusation. Do not return accusation. Resist the temptation to respond in anger, that false humility. I have called you to prayer. Pray for those you come against my name. Resist the temptation to respond in anger, that false humility.

Speak truth in hope to the world around you. Show them the love of Jesus. Feed the hungry. I am the bread of life. I am the water that satisfies the thirst of the lonely. My oil releases life into what is brittle. My oil releases what you are seeking.

My people will not be a silent people. My people will prosper. My people will know my voice and move as I give direction. I am the way. In following my leading you will find in inward satisfaction you were created to release. In obedience, you will grow to learn more of what I have planted deep within you. You are my voice and light to a dying world.

“REPLACEMENT THERAPY”
Nov. 19th, 2006

“I am with you through thick and through thin, I will quiet the turmoil within.
I am not slack, I always pay back The enemy for all he has done.

I’m LOVE AND I’M LAUGHTER I’m JOY forever after
I’m not waiting for the end, My sheep I will tend and mend.”

“I’m replacing all the work of the enemy with all the work of My HOLY SPIRIT in this hour. I’m not going to leave any nook or cranny unkempt. I’m going to REPLACE many things in your lives beloveds. The work of UNITY must be done from within your hearts. Hearts must be one with MINE to be in UNITY. So I’m doing some REPLACEMENT THERAPY in My beloveds so that what was fear, will turn to loving boldness. What was apathy will be loving concern and care for others. What was self seeking selfishness will become other seeking generosity. What was judgment will be replace with GRACE. What was licentious and unholy will be replaced with PURITY and HOLINESS.

Isa 35:8 NKJV A highway shall be there, and a road, and it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, shall not go astray.

I’ve had a plan throughout the ages. I know that many will refuse MY replacement therapy for they won’t like the way I want to do things. For I will do a GRAND SHAKING ! But for all those who love MY APPEARING and who LOVE ME, I have a feast of wine on the lees. I have much to give to those who are willing to lay down their lives and pick up MY LIFE. If you are willing to give up what you can hold in your hands, I will give you something much better. WILL YOU TRUST ME to take care of you instead of yourself ?

Did Elijah ever go without what he needed ? I will send angels to you, just as I did to him. I will provide Ravens to feed you if I need to. I will multiply food like I did for the widow if needed. I will translate you like I did Philip when needed. I will shut the mouths of lions and vipers. I will provide means of escape and replace the enemy’s intentions for Mine. But you MUST KNOW that many will die as martyrs in this hour !
You will NOT DIE HOWEVER UNTILL I SAY IT IS TIME. NOTHING can stop my intentions for you in this hour beloveds. I have a wonderful plan for your life that brings glory to MY NAME.
Those who want to make their own name great will have their rewards here on earth.
Don’t look to make a name for yourself. Don’t give in to the selfish ambition and hype that is part of this world. YOUR HOME IS NOT HERE remember ? Your home is in MY HEART ! Keep your eyes and ears open to what I want and you will be standing on solid ground, even in the midst of terrible shakings and birth pangs. The earth is coughing up fire but I am raining down MY FIRE upon the enemy at the same time.

PUT ALL YOUR TRUST IN ME. I AM WITH YOU. I AM FOR YOU. I AM YOUR DEFENDER. Glory that your names are written in the book of life, not that you are able to do all these things. Take no glory for yourself, for the consequences of that in this hour will be great. Lift up the KING OF KINGS and you will reign as kings. LIFT up the HOLINESS of God and manifest MY LOVE and you will reign as priests of the Most High GOD.”

Isaiah 61 NKJV The Good News of Salvation
"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,
3 To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified."
4 And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations,
And they shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations.

Tend My sheep with the LOVE that is in MY heart and I will bless you beyond anything you can imagine. Thought the vine fails and the plants in the fields wither and die, yet I will provide all that is needed for those who are MINE. Do not give in to bitterness as the lives of the hypocrites are exposed, for know that even your own self have had issues in your life of hypocrisy in certain areas. NO ONE IS WITHOUT SIN… I KNOW THE HEARTS OF ALL MEN. I am raising up in this hour, men and women with hearts like My own that will shelter the poor, and feed the hungry and teach those who are hungry for righteousness. Nothing will be withheld from those I love. But you must get used to having only what you NEED, not everything your flesh desires. I AM BRINGING DOWN ALL IDOLATRY IN THIS HOUR, AND I WILL HUMBLE THE PROUD AND ARROGANT IN HEART. I WILL HAVE A HUMBLE AND HOLY PEOPLE !”

Ezek 34:7-26 NKJV
7'Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD: 8 "As I live," says the Lord GOD, "surely because My flock became a prey, and My flock became food for every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, nor did My shepherds search for My flock, but the shepherds fed themselves and did not feed My flock" — 9 therefore, O shepherds, hear the word of the LORD! 10 Thus says the Lord GOD: "Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require My flock at their hand; I will cause them to cease feeding the sheep, and the shepherds shall feed themselves no more; for I will deliver My flock from their mouths, that they may no longer be food for them."
11 God, the True Shepherd
'For thus says the Lord GOD: "Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. 12 As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day. 13 And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land; I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, in the valleys and in all the inhabited places of the country. 14 I will feed them in good pasture, and their fold shall be on the high mountains of Israel. There they shall lie down in a good fold and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. 15 I will feed My flock, and I will make them lie down," says the Lord GOD. 16 "I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick; but I will destroy the fat and the strong, and feed them in judgment."

17'And as for you, O My flock, thus says the Lord GOD: "Behold, I shall judge between sheep and sheep, between rams and goats. 18 Is it too little for you to have eaten up the good pasture, that you must tread down with your feet the residue of your pasture — and to have drunk of the clear waters, that you must foul the residue with your feet? 19 And as for My flock, they eat what you have trampled with your feet, and they drink what you have fouled with your feet."

20'Therefore thus says the Lord GOD to them: "Behold, I Myself will judge between the fat and the lean sheep. 21 Because you have pushed with side and shoulder, butted all the weak ones with your horns, and scattered them abroad, 22 therefore I will save My flock, and they shall no longer be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep. 23 I will establish one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them — My servant David. He shall feed them and be their shepherd. 24 And I, the LORD, will be their God, and My servant David a prince among them; I, the LORD, have spoken.
25 "I will make a covenant of peace with them, and cause wild beasts to cease from the land; and they will dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.

Godly Repentance

2 Corinthians 7:10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.

YET MUCH LAND TO BE POSSESSED

Now Joshua was old, advanced in years. And the LORD said to him: "You are old, advanced in years, and there remains very much land yet to be possessed. Josh 13:1 NKJV

Human traditions are not divine creation for they are largely built around what has been. One funny part to it is the habit of dwelling in the past and preferring former times " Lk. 5.39. After experiencing the goodness of God for a while there is the tendency to be relaxed and not to be all out as it was at the beginning. Israel had spent years in military expedition of the land of Canaan and now seemed to be relaxed. But God spoke: it is not time to relax yet. There are more awaiting us than the familiar, and more to be experienced than both the seen and the imagined. There are still very large areas of land to be taken over (NIV); to be conquered (NLT); or to be possessed.

Standing out of these verse are two distinct words: ‘land’ and ‘possess’. The word possess means ‘to have or own’, to take control of, to gain or seize, or by its sense in Latin, ‘to sit on as head’. The word land however stands in the text for an area, territory, or region that belongs to or inhabited by an individual or a people, or which they regard as their home or as possession. The present territory (experience; ability; provision; or status) is not all that is to be, there is more to be possessed, taken, or conquered.

There are four scriptures that give indications that there is more to life (and with God) than what we’ve experienced or seen:

First, everyone has dreams or desires, and for those who trust and rely on God there are definite requests. No matter how lofty and impossible these are, Eph. 3.20-21 gives indication that God’s power is able to perform beyond man’s imaginations and requests. Paul writing to the Corinthians told them that as the scripture says, "What no one ever saw or heard, what no one ever thought could happen, is the very thing God prepared for those who love him" (1 Cor 2:9 - TEV). Think out of the box and ask for the extraordinary, God is willing and He will make your joy to be full (Jn. 16.23-24).

Second, man’s need is unlimited and enormous, and often when man comes to God with them he would rather see the enormousness of the need than the greatness of God. Paul, while writing to the poor, yet liberal hearted, and giving Macedonian church God prays for them that God shall supply their need according to his riches in glory in Christ (Phil. 4.19). This gives the indication that God’s workings is according to his wealth and not according to man’s need (evidently beyond).

Third, the love of God for his own is unfathomable and beyond description for the natural mind, that all that we appear to be is not yet the fullness of what we are supposed to be. John the beloved in his old age told the church that “now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears (or when it [what we are supposed to be] is made known), we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.” 1 John 3:2-3 (NIV). The standard for what we should be is Christ or in Christ. If therefore you have seen someone whose stature (person) made so much impression on you that you so much desire to be like the person, good news! There is much more awaiting you in Christ Jesus. Those who desire to fully evolve into that fullness cleanses themselves, that is separate themselves from impurities (which of course cannot be found in Christ), for they stifle the manifestation of all that we are to be in Christ, when they are present.

Fourth, there is a reality beyond what man can do, it is God’s ability. Man was endowed with great potentials by God. Being made in God’s image and in God’s likeness indicates that there will be exceptional abilities with man than you would found with all other creatures that God has made; and man has been found with great and impressive feats. From the tower of Babel and other wonders of the ancient world to both the great and profitable and the wild and destructive technologies of the post-modern world, man’s achievements continue. But with all his accomplishments, there is an extent to what man can do. Jesus said those things which are impossible with man shall with God be possible (Mk. 10.27) if impossibilities have characterised your life experience, it is good to know that such should be put behind for the possibilities to be secured with God or in God.

Where/what then are the lands yet to be possessed? Inasmuch as it comes under the description there and not here God is particular about it.

Hence, realise that we are not bastards for there shall be a performance of things we have asked and trusted God for (Lk. 11.9-13). God will grant our requests inasmuch as they are according to His will and the season of favour shall surely come for unanswered prayers " Lk. 1.13,20; Acts. 10.4

Become conscious of the truth that there shall be revelations of things still dark or unknown to us, for we do not have a full awareness yet of the things God has prepared for us (1 Cor. 2.9-10; Dan. 2.21,22; Isa. 45.2,3). There is more to be known, if he can grant revelation unto a gentile king because of his desire, he will surely meet your desire to know.

Reward shall come for all past obedience and faithfulness, inasmuch as you continue to be obedient to God and to listen to your heart and not your head in truly following the Lord. God is not mocked; you will reap whatever you sow (Eph. 6.7; Jos. 14.7-13). God has not forgotten your labours of love.

Be assured also that there will be help to tackle greater challenges for greater experience: Jos. 17.17-18. True challenges only come to those who are dissatisfied with the status quo. As you attempt to do things differently to create a better result, and such attempts bring greater and fresh challenges, there will be help if you are really willing to face them: Jos. 17.18; 14.11,12

Sing and rejoice for greater things are awaiting you. It is not too late yet! What will happen to you is greater than what you see around. Glory to God!

CUTTING OFF WRONG ATTACHMENTS

Over the past few days we have been discussing God-ordained attachments and those attachments that are not ordained by God. We talked about how the law of attachment is a spiritual law and that attachments place demands on our lives. Today we want to teach how to cut off wrong attachments.

The law of attachment is currently working in your life (whether you realize it or not). It is quite possible that something has placed such a high demand on you that you're even having a hard time focusing as you read today's lesson. The attachment is pulling and nudging at you saying, "You've got this to do, you've got that to do. You're attached to me and you have to give me some attention."

What you've attached yourself to can often have a greater influence in your life that God does. As it screams demands in your mind and heart, the voice of God can be reduced to a whisper. You may not even hear what He is saying because the demands of the attachments has drowned out his voice.

This also explains why we can experience victories and failures at the same time. One moment we're on top of the world. We've finally triumphed in a certain area and think that we have finally made it. You're saying to yourself, "I finally figured out how to get these laws to work for me. Do I know the Word or what? Is my faith at work or what? Just take a look at that mountain, everyone thought it would be impossible but I moved the mountain!"

Two weeks later we experience a failure or setback that is just as impacting and we wonder what happened. Many times the answer is simple, we've made choices that brought wrong attachments, or we allowed ourselves to step off God's perfect schedule and plan; and during out self-made detour, something attached itself to us along the way. it could be that we formed wrong attachments by an act of our will. Until we detach from the ungodly attachment it will continually interfere with the God-ordained attachments that need to be developed in our lives.

Say this out loud with me: "IT'S TIME TO DETACH!"

Detaching does not mean that we find a cave and live as a hermit. Neither does it mean that we're going to physically detach from the outside world, which would include jobs, family and our everyday surroundings.

Detaching simply means that while we live in this world, we are not of this world (John 17:14-16). That means we shouldn't think in the same way that people in the world do. Our mind and its thought process should agree with God's Word instead of man's philosophies, sociological ideals, or systems of thought. Our desires and attachments should not be like those who are consumed with worldly issues. As we seek to follow God, we should experience a thought-life detachment, a mental detachment, a heart detachment, and an emotional detachment from the world. As we detach from worldly ways and thought processes, we should experience new attachments to the kingdom of God in every area of our lives.

God has called us out to be separate and to be a cut above. In other words, He wants us to live at a higher standard that the world. He said through the Apostle Paul, "Wherefore come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters saith the Lord Almighty" (2 Corinthians 6:17, 18).

God wants to give you an entirely new way of thinking, a completely new way of living, and a new way of attaching your emotions to something bigger and better than you've ever known.

Before Moses could lead the children of Israel out of Egypt, he had to detach from the Egyptians and the life he had always known. God wanted him to hook to a new life among the Hebrew people that included a life filled with the presence of God. His journey into the wilderness to worship (Exodus 12:31) is an example for us of detaching from the world and attaching to God.

Scripture shows us that Moses was highly trained to live as an Egyptian: "And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds" (Acts 7:22).

To fully understand the impact of this verse, it is important to realize that in the Bible, Egypt represented a type of the world. Egypt had wealth, and scientific and mechanical progress. It was an advanced society; however, it worshipped false gods. The nation put its faith and hope in magicians, sorcerers, and false gods. It was a spiritually deceived society that lacked the wisdom of God to use its knowledge in righteous ways.

The world is filled with man-made philosophies of the good life, subjective definitions of right and wrong, and self-seeking attitudes and lifestyles. Today's society constantly compromises the Word of God and fails to follow God's directives for how to live, work and experience relationships.

In the same way that God called His children out of Egypt, He wants us to detach from the world and the things of the world. Like Moses, we have to make the decision to detach. Moses had a call of God upon his life. He couldn't walk in that call and lead the children of Israel out of Egypt until he detached from Egypt's mindset and attached to God's plan and God's way of thinking. God wants the same for you and me.

Living the life that God has called us to live is a process. Moses had to change the way he thought and acted, and that takes focus, time, effort, and attention to the right things. The New Testament describes this process as renewing your mind.

Romans 12:2 tells us, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable and perfect, will of God.

Read Acts 7:23-25 and see what else the Bible says about Moses.

While Moses recognized the needs of the people, he didn't recognize his need for a relationship with God. When he witnessed the brutal beating of a Hebrew slave, he incorrectly responded to the oppression by killing the Egyptian.

In verse 25 of Acts 7, it's clear that Moses knew his calling but he still didn't know the One who called him. That's because he had not yet attached to God through relationship.

God had called Moses to lead the Israelites out of bondage and slavery, not to start a revolution. God wanted them to "worship Him in the desert" (Exodus 5:1-3) to have a relationship with Him.

Moses knew his calling, but didn't know how to do what God had called him to do. He had not yet attached himself to God's direction that only comes through a relationship with Him. He tried to fulfill his call through his own ability and skill. Moses responded out of a carnal nature and carnal thinking.

God will never call a man to do things according to the law of sin and death. You see, the letter of the law kills, while the law of life in Christ Jesus brings life (2 Corinthians 3:6). When God places a call on your life, He demands that the assignment He gives is conducted according to the spiritual laws of life.

Moses spent 40 years in the desert. Even though he was called to deliver the Israelites, he had to unlearn his Egyptian way of thinking before he could receive revelation from God through relationship.

Precious, your journey has been a long one, and there have been times of running and times of walking, and times of tarrying. Right now, let us journey and walk together, side by side in One heart.

In the Spirit, there are many who travel with you and if you run, they will not be able to keep up. You will find that you will not be able to keep that pace up either. I love your passion and your zeal! To get ahead of Me is presumption, you know that. Come now, slow down to a reasonable pace and take your place beside Me.

Isa 28:16 NKJV

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: "Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation;

Whoever believes will not act hastily.

Give Thanks to Him!

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and bless his name.” Psalm 100:4 NLT.

When we consider all that God has done in light of who we were before we were redeemed unto Him, it is amazing. We must show that gratitude by offering our love and thanks to our Father for being so wonderful to us. The fact that we are allowed to enter His courts is an amazing privilege! We were doomed to eternal destruction because of sin that had severed our relationship with a holy God. But God had a different plan even though the enemy thought he had destroyed God’s fellowship with His own creation. God decided to reconcile us unto Himself by sacrificing His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ that was sent to earth. Jesus was born by a pure handmaiden from His chosen nation, Israel and delivered unto us the Savior of the world. Jesus knew His mission was to die for us before He came in the form of God and man. This plan of salvation is enough alone for me to be so thankful over that if God never did another thing for me, I have a heart of thanksgiving because He gave me eternal life with Him in heaven!

“For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation.” Psalm 100:5 NLT.

In other words, King David was a man and a king that understood courts that were associated with a kingdom. King David understood the words he penned to His Lord with a very thankful heart. David realized how to enter into God’s courts—through praise. King David was a fierce warrior to expand God’s Kingdom, yet at the same time was a man after God’s own heart. That meant that David had God’s very best interest in his heart on a daily basis. King David had a repentant heart and was not a man without association to some failures along the path, yet he never abandoned that heart to love the Lord and constantly gave thanks to His Lord. Remember when the enemy lies to you about your past and your mistakes remind him of his future and then give God thanks for His mercy that endures forever. Keep that heart of appreciation and you will be like David with a heart after God. Even though it is our season of thanksgiving, we must always have a heart to Give Him Thanks!

Finish well. I have ordained for you a destiny and purpose designed in Heaven. You are not here on this earth by chance. I want you to think about the progress you are making on these two things – My destiny and purpose for you. What matters to Me is not what only pleases you. You are not to live only out of your soul and flesh. Rather, I want you to live by the Holy Spirit as I lived, to constantly bring glory and honor to the Heavenly Father. His master plan for your life is forever sealed. Yes, I say unto you, be diligent to do all that is before you to do. Finish well.

Acts 20:24 "But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, in order that I may finish my course, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God."

HEIRS TO THE PROMISE by Daniel Perry 11/19
Heirs "To the Promises"
Daniel Perry

www.thegarrisonmacon.net

The "BODY" always "GOES" ...
...where the "HEAD" leads...

The blessings and promises made to Abraham and his SEED(Jesus Christ)are the same as were spoken to ADAM....and if you be in Him and He in you..."YOU" are Abraham's seed...with Christ Jesus!!!

Gen 1; 28

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Adam then rejected the blessing by disobeying the Word of God and eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. This, then reversed everything...turned the faith to fear...life to death...the earth that was created to serve us ..turned into ...toil... by the sweat of our brow...the garden... to a place of thorns and thistles...

Gods plan has never changed...and He placed the same promises and blessing upon Abraham and His "SEED". The WHOLE plan of redemption...is that the blessings of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles. It is imperative that we know what these blessings are and what the Spirit promised to Abraham.

Gal 3;13,14
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree:That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Not the "HOLY SPIRIT" alone...even though this is part of the promise...But "ALL" the Promises!!!

2 Cor 5; 5

Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing [is] God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

This indicates specifically ...the Holy Spirit is the down payment and guide that leads us to "ALL" the promises made by the Spirit.

Lets go and see what God spoke to Adam that he rejected...But that God continued to bestow upon mankind. Remember God never changes!!! We changed...but this has NO baring on what our Father promised and blessed us with...unless we reject Him!!!
The Redemption Life in Christ Jesus...changes...again reverses the curse!!!

Gen 1; 26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Stop and listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying. God NEVER changes. Why then...in the Redemption Life in Christ Jesus...we...Seated at the right hand of the Father ...with Him(Jesus Christ) can we reject...the Promises made by the Spirit?

Hebrews 5; 12-14

For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which [be] the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk [is] unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Where the Head leads...the "WHOLE" Body always goes!!!

2 Cor 5; 4-7
For we that are in [this] tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing [is] God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.(For WE WALK by FAITH, not by SIGHT:)

We have been promised that ALL nations will be Blessed...We have been promised ALL the things of God....We have been promised POSSESSION of the land!!! We have been promised that ALL things will operate..." In this Earth as it is in Heaven."
Your "Kingdom" COME...Your WILL be done. Where is the KINGDOM MINDSET. In religion the mindset is "CHURCH GOING"...Not "KINGDOM COMING".

2 Peter 1; 1-5
Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, "TO THEM"..."THAT HAVE OBTAINED LIKE PRECIOUS FAITH" with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity(Hased,Agape,Love). For if these things be "IN YOU", and "ABOUND", they make [you that ye shall] neither [be] "BARREN" nor "UNFRUITFUL" in the "KNOWLEDGE" of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is "BLIND", and cannot "SEE" afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

ALL things are NEW...In the Redemption Life in Christ Jesus.

2 Cor 5; 17

Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

The Fall of Adam...mankind is ancient history...done ...over...gone...and through the promises made by the Spirit to Abraham and his SEED... Christ Jesus...and YOU...that are in Him and Him in you... are "ALL" the things of God. We cannot separate our lives from the Spirit...that brings eternity!!! We were crucified with Him and resurrected with Him...Thus We live...crucifying our flesh ...that we live the Resurrection life in Christ Jesus.we do not live a crucified life. This is a lie from the pit of hell. We live Redeemed and Resurrected ...with Him...NOT FALLEN!!!

Gal 3; 26-29

You are ALL sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have "CLOTHED" yourselves "WITH" Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you ALL are "ONE" in Christ Jesus. And if ye [be] Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Do you "HEAR,SEE"... What the Holy Spirit saying? Clothed in Christ..."IS CHRIST"
Jesus said,"If you have "SEEN"me...You have "SEEN" the Father...
Who then is Christ...but those whom are "CLOTHED"in Him!!!
What ...By Faith...Are you wearing?Glory to God!!! Do you reject this Powerful Word...thus rejecting the "ONE" ...that "IS" ..."The WORD BECOME FLESH."..
The "CURSE IS REVERSED"!!! ALL of His Promises... Work by Faith...Faith works by Love... Faith comes by hearing ...and hearing ...by the "WORD of GOD".

Jesus is Lord

An Important Word For All Ye Sipping Saints

Let's face it! We probably all have encountered them every where that we go. If you haven't, just start preaching against drunkenness in your own "little world" and you will find either the "justified drunkards" or the "sipping saints." In other words, you will hear the same argument repeated over and over and over again. As soon as you touch this particular sin, you will hear people rise up adamantly and even "get in your face about it" saying - "Jesus turned the water into wine." With the "sipping saints," you might not receive such a vehement response, but you will hear the casual and smug justification for their drinking wine at the fine restaurants among their company associates or peers - while using the following portion of Scriptures to ease their "troubled consciences."

Here is the full account of the first miracle that the Lord Jesus ever performed in His ministry here on earth as found in the Holy Scriptures -

"And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there: And both Jesus was called, and His disciples, to the marriage. And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto Him, They have no wine. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? Mine hour is not yet come. His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it. And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. Jesus saith unto him, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. And He saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it. When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: but the servants which drew the water knew) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth His glory; and His disciples believed on Him"(John 2:1-11).

Before we get into our argument or the true facts about whether or not the Bible justifies drunkenness or even a little "sipping" of any form of alcohol for sinners and saints alike - let's delve into some background facts concerning this actual account.

The Lord Jesus and His disciples were on their way from the Jordan River where John the Baptist was preaching in Judea and were venturing into Galilee where there was a marriage feast in "Cana of Galilee." Along the way, He spoke to Andrew, Peter, Philip, and Nathanael. It was the third day after coming into Galilee.

It is surmised that the wedding party was kin to the family of Jesus' - being Mary's (His Mother) relative. It was conducted in "Cana of Galilee." There were two other towns having the same name as "Cana." However, this one was distinguished as being "Cana of Galilee" - which was situated six miles Northeast of Nazareth.

In the village culture of Palestine at that time, weddings were very important events - announced well in advance...recognized by the entire village...and lasting for about seven days. To attend a wedding was considered to be an act of great kindness. Hence, "both Jesus and His disciples" were invited and came.

Something very tragic happened during the feast. They ran out of wine.

Since the marriage feast lasted for a whole week, we can very easily see something like this happening. However, in the East, hospitality was so lavish - making this problem a matter of great mortification.

Mary somehow knew of the need and alarmed Jesus of it. His response - "Woman, what have I to do with thee?" - has troubled many people. Was Jesus being disrespectful to His Mother in addressing her as "Woman"? Absolutely not! There was no severity or disrespect intended here. In fact, "Woman" was a highly respectful and affectionate mode of address. It expressed the greatest and strongest tenderness, concern, and affection.

However, His response - "Mine hour is not yet come" - was intended as a mild reproof - letting her know that He could not act under her authority - simply because she was not God or any kind of authority equal to God. He had to only follow the leading of His Father.

Somehow by His response to her, she knew that He was about to relieve the difficulty. At the proper time - given by God - He would move. Therefore, she cautioned the servants ahead of time to be ready for His orders - "Whatsoever He saith unto you, do it."

His instructions from God came, and He ordered the servants to fill the "six waterpots of stone" with water. These pots were available for the guests because of the Jewish custom of ceremonially washing before and after a meal - lest they be considered unclean. There were "six pots" in proportion to the number of guests at the feast. Each pot held about twenty gallons of water.

At a wedding, there were oftentimes set vessels of varying sizes. One vessel could be a large pitcher or basin for the entire company to use for washing, while there might be set a smaller and more beautiful one for the bride.

Jesus instructed the servants to - "Fill the waterpots with water." He also told them to "fill them up to the brim." These two factors negate any possible tampering in the miracle. Total strangers were called upon to perform this task - rather than His own disciples. And they were told to fill the waterpots to the brim - lest any would say that the disciples slipped in some wine to give the appearance of a mixture.

These pots were strictly used for water. At no previous time did they ever have wine in them. And they just so happened to be empty.

The servants were instructed by Jesus to - "...Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast..." Who was this "governor of the feast"? He was a rather interesting character. He was considered to be the chief or head over three couches or tables. He had the charge of the entertainment, provided the food, and gave directions to the servants. He also was in charge of arranging the tables and tasting the food. It was an acceptable custom among the Greeks and Romans for this man to be chosen by the throwing of dice. The success of the feast depended on him.

To taste the wine - this was the function of "the ruler of the feast" or "the governor of the feast." Hence, we read - "...When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine..." In this case, he found the wine to be of the richest and best kind.

It was a common custom to offer the guests at a feast the best wine in the beginning when their appetites were the sharpest and most critical. Then after a period of time, they would bring forth something of a weaker or inferior quality - "...Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine: and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now..."

But what about Jesus' statement - "...and when men have well drunk..."? Was He referring to people being drunk? Was He justifying drunkenness here or even drinking in moderation?

These words in the original language mean - when men have drunk freely. It does not mean to be intoxicated but to have drunk considerably or sufficiently to satisfy.

What most people do not realize is that there were three kinds of wine in Palestine at this time. The People's New Testament outlines them as such -

1. There was the fermented wine which was very unlike the liquor that we have today. It contained only a small percentage of alcohol and was mixed with two or three parts of water.

2. Then there was the unfermented juice of the grape.

3. Lastly, there was the intoxicated drink called "the new wine."

The "good wine" that Jesus produced was the wine commonly drunk in Palestine - the pure juice of the grape. In other words, it was Grape Juice. In no way was it brandied, drugged, or compounded with various substances.

In today's society, people understand that when someone classifies wine as being - "good wine" - it is understood to be the strongest with the greatest power to intoxicate. But this is not how the people thought in the Bible times. "Good wine" was considered to be that which had little strength...was the most useful or wholesome...and hadn't been adulterated by anything. It was the simple juice of the grape.

The comments found in Barnes' Notes really serve to add further clarity to this issue -
"The common wine drunk in Palestine was that which was the simple juice of the grape. We use the word 'wine' now to denote the kind of liquid which passes under that name in this country - always containing a considerable portion of alcohol not only the alcohol produced by fermentation, but alcohol 'added' to keep it or make it stronger. But we have no right to take that sense of the word, and go with it to the interpretation of the Scriptures. We should endeavor to place ourselves in the exact circumstances of those times, ascertain precisely what idea the word would convey to those who used it then, and apply that sense to the word in the interpretation of the Bible; and there is not the slightest evidence that the word so used would have conveyed any idea but that of the pure juice of the grape, nor the slightest circumstance mentioned in this account that would not be fully met by such a supposition.
No man should adduce this instance in favor of drinking wine unless he can prove that the wine made in the waterpots of Cana was just like the wine which he proposes to drink. The Saviour's example may be always pleaded just as it was; but it is a matter of obvious and simple justice that we should find out exactly what the example was before we plead it."
Also, we must consider some very important factors here. First of all, Jesus - being the Holy Son of God that He was and is - would not be a part of a drunken feast - except perhaps to rebuke sinners and call them to repentance. As the Savior of the world, He came to set the captives free - not to bind them up in the sin of drunkenness or to give them an excuse to "give place to the devil"(Ephesians 4:27) through moderate drinking.
He - being the Word of God - would not contradict His own words as outlined in the Book of Proverbs -
Proverbs 20:1 says - "Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise."
Proverbs 23:31-33 says - "Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder. Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things."
Normally, when people begin to drink alcohol of any kind, they lose all restraints and give place to "divers lusts" and "pleasures."
Would the Living Son of God - Who is so Holy in character - give anyone - especially His own children who are supposed to be washed from all sin in His Precious Blood - an excuse or a license to drink alcohol - knowing that even after one drink their moral and spiritual restraints become loosened?
Perhaps, in the past, you used John 2 - "Jesus turned the water into wine" - as an excuse for why you are a "sipping saint."
Our prayer is that you will see - after reading this message - that you have been sorely deceived. You have no excuse - especially from the Bible - for drinking alcohol in any form or in any measure.
God doesn't have any "sipping saints." And the Bible - of all books - certainly doesn't give any one "a license to sip."

"new s".

A new year, a fresh move of the Spirit of God in our hearts and an increasing capacity to contain all that He wants to do and change in us.

In practical everyday terms a wineskin was just a disposable drink container in Biblical times. Like a coke bottle or a milk carton, it's real significance was in the drink it held.

The new wine of the Holy Ghost is flowing from the throne of God into our hearts. But to contain such a effervescent liquid a pliable flexible container is required. The rigid dry leather of an old wineskin would not work for new wine, neither will the old patterns of thinking and behavior contain the heavenly wine.

If we are to conserve the wine that is being poured out then we must be willing to change personally as well as work with ever changing circumstances and patterns required by the forward moving, glory to glory path that is conforming us to the image of Jesus—from the inside out!

Rapid change is the order of the day. It is the understatement of all time to say that there is a whole lot of shaking going on right now. Governments, political alignments, social order, not to mention the earth itself are being shaken and realigned. And so it is with The Church, God's covenant people. But for The Church this is the best of times. As the shaking fulfills God's intended prophetic purpose, what remains standing will be what God has ordained.

The day of the Lord has always been a day of judgment for the enemies of God but a day of restoration and vindication for His people. This is a day for the people of God to shine with the glory of Jesus Christ. The increasing natural disasters and man made catastrophes in the days to come will give The Church unprecedented opportunity to display the goodness of God in the midst of a cruel and fallen world. Increasingly, the world will be turning to someone for help. It should be us.
