I cannot praise G-d enough!! We had RJ to have his eye checked, and
not only is there no sign whatsoever of a retinoblastoma, he actually
has very healthy eyes, and excellent eye sight!! I swear, G-d was in
the room with us. Normally, they have to use drops to dilate the
pupil, so they can see well into the eye and retina. With RJ, they
didn't have to do that at all, because his pupils were WIDE open on
their own, for the doctor. He even said he had never seen anyone's
pupils open that widely before on their own, for an exam. Truly, our
Father in heaven has been watching over my wee one. In all, the exam
took about 30 minutes. He was so wonderful with RJ, and RJ behaved
perfectly. Right at the end, they did an actual eye exam to
determine his eyesight. He read the 20/20 line with no problem, and
was able to read the two lines below that...what is that...20/10?
20/5?? I don't know if it is actually even better, but we stopped on
the second line after 20/20. I asked the doctor pointedly if he even
for a fleeting second had pause, or thought in even the most minute
way that there was something to be concerned with, and he answered
that he had no qualms whatsoever in saying that RJ's eyes are
extremely healthy, and that his eyesight is superb.

Naturally, after he said that, I sat down and sobbed in relief. This
has been quite a roller-coaster few days, for certain. Thank you
everyone for your thoughts and prayers...my gratitude runs deep. I cannot say thank you enough, and I don't know what I would have done without your support and prayers. Right now, I just cannot seem to get the waterworks turned off!
