1 Corinthians:5 But every woman who prays or "prophesies" with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved

When Paul says its shameful for a woman to speak in church is because wome in those days were not educated,and if they were to speak it would have caused confusion in the church. Which God is not the author of confusion.

Thanks for posting the particulars. Women have spoke on behalf of the Lord for a long time. She is man's help mate...And l don't mean doing dishes.
However the greatest serves...

Pastor and Prophet are two different offices..

As a women, I like having a man at the helm.

Its not the differences in offices that I'm refuting ,but the saying that we are not to speak in church. That's not so possible if a woman has to cover head to prophecy. The word says prophecy is the greater gift.

I also like being under the auothority of a man! No doubt its just. I am pursuing ministry and people say all the time you may be more annoited than your husband if that's Gods will then so be it,but I much rather have him be the more annoited.

Hello, I have understood the woman to be the soulish part of a person and the man to be the Christ mind. The Scripture is teaching that a person (man or woman) is not to preach out of the soulish or carnal nature of man, that the words of life are from the Christ mind within. IMHO.

How is one more annointed than another?
you go to church and understand things while he doesn't?

Sisters (and Brothers too),
God is not subject to any laws, rules, traditions, etc. He is a loving God and a righteous One. God will do whatever he wants. God has chosen women to be prophets, apostles, pastors or teachers. But, let us remember that it is not by the appointing of man but of the Holy Spirit alone through the chief apostle in the Church that they are chosen. And it is only for the benefit of God's Will through the Church we are chosen. Also no veils, etc are needed to cover women's heads in Church but only their long hair as a covering to glorify God. Let us also know that just as Jesus Christ and His Church are Holy so likewise a man and his wife are. Before marriage there must never be pre-marital sex otherwise there can be no holiness(no testimony of Christ and the Church(bride) thus no marriage in the Church. Also Brothers and Sisters must sit separately in the Church and no gossipping. All must be done decently and in order as the Holy Spirit leads. God has no need for schools for people to learn how to be a pastor, apostle, etc. They shall be revealed through the Holy Spirit (just as God is Spirit). Did Apostle Paul go to apostle school? Did Philip or Titus or Barnubus?? God bless you Sisters.

I have to say, while I appreciate your opinions, and I agree with you that gossip is sinful, and premarital sex is wrong, I don't for one minute believe it is wrong to sit next to a brother in church at all. I have never seen scripture that says this. Obviously a woman is expected to dress and speak modestly, however, that does not mean in my opinion that she is to have no contact with men, especially in a house of God. I don't recall (and correct me if I am wrong) Jesus demanding seperate audiences when he shared his teachings.

As well, I personally believe that furthering a person's education and understanding of biblical scripture is also important. The holy spirit can work just as well through guiding a student to a fuller understanding along with physical teachings. Those you speak of were fortunate enough to have the teachings from Jesus, in today's world, we have others who assist in this. God has given these holy people the gift of prophesy and the gifts of teaching and I believe we are to utilize those things that are from God.

Can you please point out any of the teachings where this states this in the Bible.

As Ingraceigo has pointed out some of what you said does hold merit, but this one is not one of them...

Think about the brain. Use your brain to think about the brain you are thinking from. Now, think about what you do when you are thinking from the the brain you are thinking from. It really gets annoying when you realize how the brain has been kept divided. Sure, it is a natural thing to have a divided brain, but it is unnatural to use only 10% of the brain, or so the studies say and it is obvious that there is something that is pounding mankind down into the ground. It is written, 'I will crush satan under your feet soon.' We are going down to the dust of the earth and there is no way to stop it. It is not a judgement that we can escape. Children born now have their parents mind to build from. A mind made up of things like computers, cars, houses, dogs, cats, wars, tanks, guns, etc. What can they do with these things that is different than what was done time after time before? It is not something that can be fixed. It will as it has been in times past be covered over with burning hot lava, like Krakatoa, and the earth will start again. The axis will shift. After thousands of years, we will again have Eden. If we don't do what the Catholic church has done and burn all of the books, Hell will start right along with it.
With man there is a division called woman. There was no creature led in front of Adam that could help with what Adam was to do. All of the animals have a carnal NATURE. Eve was from the carnal Nature. WOMAN is not. Woman was from the NATURE of man. Man was formed in the image and likeness of God. Eve shared the NATURE of the beast. How did she come to have the NATURE of the beast? The beast will not tell you. Saying that woman should keep silent in the church probably means that she knows something that the man should not.

I am open to a female Pastor as long as she is Biblcially correct in her preachings.
Unfortunately, every female Poator / preacher has been a modern day Jezabel.
