True Perspective
On the night of April 20, 2006 I had a dream I believe was a forewarning for myself. Whenever the Lord sends me a dream it's always for His children as a whole, so I'm going to post this dream to see if anyone has any feedback. I don't want to move outside of the will of God.

In the dream I was in a modest house with my husband and we were VERY prosperous, VERY happy, and VERY united. We were EXTREMELY prosperous, beyond what our home appeared to be. Our home was filled with livestock, mainly sheep. All of a sudden a plot was formed by my 'father,' but he wasn't my father. This plot he formed was to destroy everything I had and get me back 'home' with him. He found a man who was willing to do the job. At one point, only for a moment, I became that man, but when I was back in the perspective of myself I was able to set things up so that if this 'father' destroyed my life the authorities would be made aware of it and they would know that it was him. This cause the 'father' to back off.

In the dream I stood in autority. I remember I was afraid for a split second, but I stood strong against this 'father' and retained my blessings.

Any Godly insight would be greatly appreciated.

Your dream and its imagery remind a lot of the story of Job. Job had plenty of livestock, many children, and was very prosperous and he was a righteous man. Then Satan stands before God and asks "Does Job fear God for nothing? Have you not put a fence around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands and his pocessions have increased in the land, but stretch out your hand, and touch all he has, and he will surely curse you to your face!" Job chapter 1 verses 10 thorugh 12. Satan is saying to God that Job is only being righteous because of the blessing he got, and says if you take his blessings, he will sin. Job never curses God. The only problem God had with him is that JOB thought His righteousness was as good as God's but later Job corrected himself, my righteousness is as filthy rags compared to God. I think in this instance, it may be that Satan is looking for the chink in your spiritual armour to knock you down but you beat him to the punch by taking it to GOD, if you cry to GOD, Satan knows He's got your back.

Job. Wow! I didn't see the similarity. I'm encouraged. Thank you so much for responding.
