I guess recently that many of you have taken notice of Irans uranium enrichment program. the Iranians have 5 nuclear facilities and possibly 1 secret location. Recently Israel purchased 500 bunker busters,5000 smart bombs&ect. afterwards Iran stated that Israel would pay dearly if she attacked Iran. Itelligence reports at one time stated that It is believed Iran will have developed a nucear bomb by this coming midsummer. Isaiah indicates that Damascus will be a city no more in the spring [ planting season]. the Hezbollah, a terrorist organization,which is brokard by Syria and Iran. Isaiah 17 also says that the fortress of ephriam shall be destroyed...that is located in the westbank.The picture I get is when Israel attacks Iran{and she must}...the Hezbollah will launch chemical weapons at Israel.In return, Israel retaliates by nukeing damascus. The Palestinians decide to attack Israel also......thus the end result...three arab nations are humbled.

Not just three Arab nations...... but seven. As in the seven under Gog of Magog in Ezekiel 38.

I too believe that war with Iran is next. Not just for Israel but for the U.S. as well. I believe that the Goat in Daniel chapter 8 is the U.S. (we(Tarshish) come from Javan(Greece) Genisis 10)

Miche, thanks for your reply. I too believe it will spur the ezekial 38 war. And that it may happen sooner than we think, but yet, that the 7 yr. covenant may be a little ways off yet . I will explain why I believe this may be so. in Ezekial 39...the aftermath ...the LORD instructs Israel to not go into the forest to cut down any trees, but they are instead to burn the weapons from this war as a fuel for a period of seven yrs. now with that knowledge in mind, In luke 21, The Lord is explaining about the abomination of desolation. HE says that the moment they see this event come to pass ,that they are to FLEE! Now we know that this event happens 1,260 days after the signing of the seven yr. covenant...My question is, how is Israel going to burn those weapons for seven yrs, if they must flee at the halfway point?.... If my understanding is correct this tells me at best minimum,the Ezekial 38 war must take place at least three and a half yrs. prior to the signing of the seven yr. covenant. I would like to get some feedback on this. No one can be certain to exactly when the rapture will take place, but I think it is possible it may wait until Isaiah 17;1 happens because in that line of verses,it says that in those days man will look to his Maker, I take that to mean that a whole lot of people are going to come to the cross of calvery.

I thought that I would a little more to this. There is no doubt that a lot of these pieces to the Ezekial 38 puzzle have come together. I believe though that all the pieces must be in place for the picture to be complete.Israel is still building a wall or fence and she is not yet at rest. yes I do believe that after Isaiah 17;1 comes to pass, that it will and does lead to Ezekial 38. but not as Qwickly as we may think. Eitherway we are soon to find out.

How do we know that Isaiah 17:1 has not already been fulfilled?

The Northern Kingdom and Aram made an alliance to fight against Assyria. But Tiglath-pileser III captured Damascus, the capital of Aram, in 732 BC, and annexed the Northern Kingdom to the Assyrian empire.

So, maybe Damascus "disappeared" in 732 BC.

Or, maybe there will be another fulfillment in the future?

Revelation 13:7 says, "It was granted to him (the anti-Christ) to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation." This is the ultimate authority of the one-world government. And many people just do not see how one man could gain control over the entire world. In fact, it never has been done. There will be an event, perhaps a war or a terrorist attack or a cataclysmic natural disaster that will enable the anti-Christ to rise to power. But these nations must be willing participants to cede their power. There must be credibility among them that the majority of people will follow in submission rather than rise in rebellion. And by all modern standards, credible alliances are in place to facilitate these nations coming together.

Here's another thought.......When it talks about a hook in the jaw;
Ezekiel chapter 38, verse 3b:

Behold, I am against you, O Gog, prince of Rosh of Meshech and Tubal; and I will turn you about, and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you forth,......

Some of you remember the vision l had of Gaza (see the post under dreams and visions..) It would be a sign...well l haven't been able to let it go. I keep thinking about it because if God does something it's usually loaded with meaning. If you look at Gaza on a map you will see that it is shaped like an axe....

Then if you do a search on pictures of axe's you'll find the battle axe had a hook on one side.... It was used for just that. Hooking...

I too , have for years believed that it would take a shock to convince nations to form a global government. In revelation 17;11 the part that says.........he is the eight, but is from the seventh......I suspicously felt that the seventh would be the coming united nations of europe or whatever name.....and whenever a big enough shock happened such as the Ezekial 38 war,then they would go global.

But something could happen.....and this 7 yr. confirmation, could become put off at a later time......As I see it,...In order for Recommendation 666....There must be a crisses or an emergancy,before it can become activated. I believe that solana, will activate Recommendation 666....When Isaiah 17;1 comes to pass......But keep in mind......In Ezekial 39.......That before russia attacks Israel,......Israel....must be at peace,and her cities must be defenced....which is not the case at this time. In this coming Isiah 17;1 war.......Israel will become wounded,....which I believe at that time it is then when russia and her allies will " Devise an evil plan"......The topic that I had written awhile back points out that this coming Ezekial 38 war could happen 3 1/2 yrs prior to the 7 yr.confirmation......If anyone....can explain that this could not be true.....I welcome you with all ears......but Please .....think this through....................................benny
