Don't know how much has gone on in the international press, but in my fantabulous little state of Tasmania, we've had a tradgedy and miracle unfold in the last 14 days. Two miners trapped after a 'seismic event' ( how beaurocraticlly spoken is that!) and a rock fall in a mine up at Beaconsfield. Well - they broke through to the dudes about 10 ish last night and somewher ebetween 4 & 5 this morning - the miners walked to freedom after spending the last 14 days underground in a little cage. A miracle - neither were hurt - but one man did end up dying in the rock fall.
Now for my husband - who is generally quiet on these things that he gets unless they're to do with EOTW preparation! He woke up this morning - I was again sleeping on the couch (pregnancy does that too me and the braxton hicks contractions are quite strong) - when it was still dark, sits up and says 'oh - they're out' and goes back to sleep. When he got out of bed I did have the tv on but turned down - the show I watch in the mornings has spent the last fortnight on-site waiting for the release. He looks at the screen briefly as he heads to the kitchen and says - they're out. Now - the chances are he would have been right anyway. But for him to wake up, sit up and make a statement and go back to sleep in the wee hours - that's odd. He told me about it properly after he had had his first hit of coffee. God told him he said. Which is fantastic to know - I said that I thought He was making sure that hubby was listening too him. Methinks there may be more coming too him soon. But we shall see.
