Full Version: Sudden Death
A friend's brother just passed away. They have an elderly Dad to break the news to, please pray as they are concerned what it will do to the dad who already buried one child. Also my friend had not reconciled with his brother and it is working on him. They will tell the dad about an hour after church when the other children arrive. He left behind a wife, a teenage son and a 10 year old daughter. Please pray, especially for his dad.
That is a difficult situation, and we know the Lord can strengthen all involved. I will definitely be praying for this family.

Have mercy on this family......... Lord please prepare this father. Let the whole family be drawn to you in your Grace.
Oh Lord, be with the wife and precious kids........ sustain them. Help them to draw near to you.

LORD, I ask you to touch this family, with your peace and heal thier brokeness over the loss of a father, husband, brother and son. LORD I ask you to reconile the family unit. Especially be with the Father of this man, and his wife and children, and his sibblings. In Jesus Name, AMEN.

It’s good to hear that their church goers since they should know by now that when we leave our bodies we go to be with The Lord. Obviously the world they live in is that much lonelier but knowing where their son is in itself should bring them a sense of well being.

True enough Jack. Thanks for the kind words but they don't believe that he was saved. My friend is a pastor that recently lost his church through slander and manipulation. It is his youngest brother who died. He sang a song for communion after being pulled from service to learn of his brother's death. I don't know how their dad took the news. Thanks for your prayers everyone. David
