Full Version: Prayer Request
My wife's Dad isn't doing very well. He's diabetic and the doctors are talking about amputating one of his legs. He had a bypass surgery a year or so ago and just isn't looking good. My wife is scared to death he is dying. If you wouldn't mind I'd appreciate you sending some prayers out for him, Thanks.

Father, we lift this man to you. You know his condition, spiritual and physical. We ask first that you draw him to yourself, and heal his body. Lord, we ask for mercy that amputation won't have to be done. Give his wife peace we ask in Jesus name, amen.

I am standing in agreement with my fellow believer's. Lord surround this family with peace and understanding.

My girlfriend at church was undergoing the same thing with her mother. One leg already had to be taken off and she was in a wheel chair and that was devistating to her. Everyone around her showed her with love and let her know she was their mom always...nothing had changed.
When I pray for my friend, I will repeat my plea for your wife's dad. But most importantly, I will pray for your wife and your family. "Daddy" is a difficult thing for daughters. When they are bad, our live is devistated and when they are good they are our heros.

I don't know. My wife is going to find out. It's something we both worry about. I would do it but since I married his only little girl he barely tolerates me and dismisses pretty much anything I say.
