When they had passed through the entire island of Cyprus as far as Paphos, they came upon a certain Jewish wizard or sorcerer, a false prophet named Bar-Jesus. He was closely associated with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, who was an intelligent and sensible man of sound understanding; he summoned to him Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the Word of God [concerning salvation in the kingdom of God attained through Christ]. But Elymas the wise man—for that is the translation of his name [which he had given himself]—opposed them, seeking to keep the proconsul from accepting the faith. But Saul, who is also called Paul, filled with and controlled by the Holy Spirit, looked steadily at [Elymas] And said, You master in every form of deception and recklessness, unscrupulousness, and wickedness, you son of the devil, you enemy of everything that is upright and good, will you never stop perverting and making crooked the straight paths of the Lord and plotting against His saving purposes? And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you will be blind, [so blind that you will be] unable to see the sun for a time. Instantly there fell upon him a mist and a darkness, and he groped about seeking persons who would lead him by the hand. Then the proconsul believed (became a Christian) when he saw what had occurred, for he was astonished and deeply touched at the teaching concerning the Lord and from Him.

Every believer is to walk in victory where we are commanding and demanding our rights and privileges in Christ Jesus. We are to demand nothing of the Father as He is the One Who made the provision. But we demand of the devil, who is endeavoring to thwart the plan of God, just like Elymas tried to do.

We have heard it prophesied that 2006 is the year of glory. Here are some definitions of the word "glory:" Wealth; commerce; when the Glory comes in stuff is moving; power; wisdom; promotion; superiority; dignity; authority; nobility; splendor; valor; magnificence; extraordinary privileges and advantages.

The devil is anti-glory: anti-wealth, anti-power, anti-superiority, etc. We must continue to command and demand what God has promised us.

All of the ability to command and demand is for one purpose: that cities and nations would come to God. That every tongue and tribe and nation would come out of darkness, hopelessness, desperation and come to Him.

On July 8, 1989, Kenneth E. Hagin delivered the following word in Detroit, MI:

That's yet to be manifest. There's a glory that's yet to be revealed. There's a power that is yet to be in operation. Hallelujah. We've seen a little speck of it here and a little speck of it there. And [tongues] satisfied to stay where you are. Satisfied to stay where you are. Satisfied to stay where you are. Satisfied to stay where you are. Satisfied to stay where you are. Stir up yourself and be satisfied only with the dissatisfaction that has to be satisfied again and again.

"Move on with Me," saith the Lord of hosts. "There's a work that must be done. There is a ministry that must be accomplished before the coming of the Son of Man. True the time of the end is at hand. For looking after the things that are coming to pass upon the earth. When you see these things begin to come to pass and certainly they have begun to come to pass. "There's a work, there's a ministry that must be accomplished. There's an army that must ARISE! And walk, walk, walk, walk, walk, walk, walk in the realm of the Spirit. Talk, talk, talk, talk in the power of the Spirit. Minister, minister, minister with the manifestation of the Spirit. Endowed, endued with power from on high. With the full equipment to stand in the office unto which you are called. To speak as of the oracles of God. To speak and devils will tremble. To speak and nations will change. To speak and cities, whole cities will change. And the glory of God shall be in manifestation and your heart shall have much cause for rejoicing."

"But prepare ye your hearts. Lay aside every weight and the sin which does so easily beset you. For they that bear the Arc of the Lord must be clean. They must be pure. Purify ye yourselves. Yea, cleanse ye yourselves by stopping. By refusing to walk further in sin and wrong doing. And then coming to the fountain filled with blood. And be cleansed from the spots that have been left by the contamination of sin. Persist in wrong doing. Persist in sin. And remember it is written not to sinners, though it may apply but it's written to the church. To believers. God's not mocked. Whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap! Walk on and the reaping day will come. But judge yourself and it's written you'll not be judged."

"Yea, I am preparing an army for these last days. You have a part in that preparation. There are leaders that I am preparing. And He said unto me, 'You must stand in the forefront to direct them and to lead them.' And He's saying unto you, 'Will you be one?' for there are not only officers in the army of the Lord, but there are foot soldiers. And every one is a soldier in the army of the Lord. Hear ye, hear ye what the Spirit is saying unto the churches fore these are the last days." Blessed be Your holy Name.

* Help us to keep this clear about the purpose of Your divine glory
* That signs and wonders and notable miracles are for strong purpose—for the souls of men
* There is a glory yet to be revealed (we all kneeled before the Lord)
* Jesus, the Messiah, the Name above all names
* Where there is victory, You get the glory
* There's healing in Your name and authority in Your Name
* Be Jesus in and through us
* Call them in
* A doorway, an entrance for more of Your presence
* Of and by the power of Your Name
* We use the Name as a covering, an opening
* Praying concerning the openings, in the center, the middle of it
* Unity, united purpose, one plan
* There's deliverance in the Name
* Deliveries showing up
* In Your name we push down every stronghold, every wall and bust through with Your Name
* We press ahead in the Name of Jesus
* We will not be status quo
* Standing and praying
* A completion
* Steady through the Name
* We come against division of any kind
* Reverencing Your glorious presence
* It'll be better than before
* Jesus, it's in and through the Name
* Your glory we contend for it, we must have it!
* We are hungry and thirsty for an increase of Your glorious presence
* Limitations be taken out and removed
* All the provision of God come forth
* All of heaven's resources
* It's a mandate, it has to come!
* Boundless and endless
* Unlimited change
* So the plan can be carried out in fullness and completeness
* Doorways, come out of these
* Cars, transportation and ways to move out and move forward into the plan
* Provision
* Steady increase
* The percentages, multiplication
* Tires
* Resources, heaven's resources, get them now!
* They're available now! Now is the time!
* We plead the Blood over the supply line
* Money, money, money! Money cometh!
* A new measure — it's part of the fullness
* It's more than that, it's supernatural
* Its been unlocked
* Fuel, local fuel
* To burn even brighter and hotter
* Getting over in the full way, get over in the other way, over into the full way
* What about the new way and plans?
* Opening it up
* We turn it, we take another turn now
* It is through the Blood and the authority of that name Jesus
