Hi all...I need word from the wise on a recuring dream my brother told me he was having...So if u can help me out here i'd be very grateful coz it's seems 2 be bothering him pretty much...

Anyway here it is,In the dream he say's there's a stream of lava flowing towards him and life just seems 2 be going on around him totally unaware 2 dis stream of lava...
Then when the lava gets 2 the tip of his toes he wakes up in cold sweats..

Something has just come 2 mind as i was reading this back..It seems 2 me that there is something destructive from his past that he needs 2 come 2 terms with(The lava stream)and he can't seem 2 undersand why life is going on even though this mishap occured...

What do the wise say on this matter???

First, let me say " hi ". This is my first time on the boards and I can't seem to get enough, so I will be becoming a member! smile.gif

I've never interpreted a dream before, nor do I claim to know how, but this dream reminds me of something I've been struggling with in every day life.
The part, life just seems to be going on around him totally unaware, is exactly what's going on in the world today. It's like non-Christians are unaware of the signs that are happening all around them that are predicted for the end times. They are oblivious to it and carrying on with their lives unaware that the end is getting closer.
My heart hurts when I think about anyone not realizing it. It's like I feel this is so urgent to get to them and talk with them, tell them about God, before it's too late!

Hope no one minds me jumping in like this.

God Bless!!

I believe th Lord is trying to speak to your brothers heart. Theres been signs and wonders in the middle East and around the world, the Lords coming is near and hes trying to warn us all,to wake up and get our life in order. We have to lay down our life and take up the cross and follow Him all the way. He's speaking through the codes and numbers on this web sight if were willing to hear.I believe the wicked one is covering our eyes with the lust of this world if we let him. We have to stay in the word and pray amen. May Gods blessings go with your brother as he walks softly before the Lord.

I have a circumstance that while I am sleeping, I will partially wake and won't be able to move. My head will have a buzzing sensation. I can see around me and nothing is there, but I have a sense of dread. I will say the Lord's prayer in my mind, and whatever is occurring will subside. I have had this for about 17-18 years. It is not a common occurrence, maybe once every three-7 months in intervals. ANy ideas anyone?

Obviously when you are praying in your head, your inner man is bearing witness to the truth that Jesus is Lord. The key to taking charge spiritually is to become spiritually cognizant of your power/authority in Christ. Jesus told his disciples to pray for at least one hour before sleeping. We are also told that we build ourselves up by praying in the Holy Ghost. So, just realize that in the flesh, none of us understands spiritual things. However, in the spirit, we know all things. That's why your inner man led you to pray. Joyce Meyers has a book on Mind Binding Spirits that attack us. You can get it for free by contacting her ministry. However, a simple thing for you to do would be to just humble yourself like a child and just trust in Jesus.

A Prayer: "Jesus, I'm getting ready to go to sleep, and You know that there is something bothering me. While I don't understand this entirely, I do believe that Your are my Lord and Saviour. I ask You to let me stand on Your name and let Your blood rebuke any evil spirit that is bothering me even while I'm sleeping"

I am sure this is not the answer you will want to hear, but I think that you should go get checked for a neurological disorder. I know another guy that goes through that at odd intervals and he has a problem on one of the halves of his brain. Not trying to scare you, but it is something that you should take seriously and consider.

don't worry JJ , we are all insane here , and anyhow ,

' in the Kingdom of the brainless , the half-brained man is King '

I actually wasnt implying that. The friend I talked about has some scar tissue on his brain and it causes similar effects when he tries to get out of bed sometimes. It is a physical problem, not a psychological one.

First of all guest, I'll always welcome you here.

For the previous post, someone made a suggestion to pray at least an hour before you sleep because satan uses sleep as an opportuntiy to attack and deceive. I'm not sure who said it, but I pray extensively prior to bedtime,. I agree that if you do this, you will be protected and such dreams will most likely subside.

Fear tactics on the defeated ones (satan) part I believe.

Faith in Jesus is the most precious gift.

pray, and praise him always. Our Lord Jesus is soooo worthy

God bless you, and your brother.
