You guys my friend really needs some major prayers tomorrow! She has had it very rough past two years. Several years ago I meet her when she 1st came to the Lord, 13 years ago. We became very close, we studied the Word of God and served at the same church. Her husband just would never submit his life to Christ. This put a major strain on their marriage.

I had a dream aprox. 6 or 7 years ago that she was face down in the mud at the edge of a pond! I knew she was alive but she was very hard to recongnize. She was covered in mud and was unresponsive. My husband told me to leave her she was dead, but I knew she was still alive. I helped her get up and took her to the hospital. When we walked in everyone in the Hospital recongnized her and began calling her by name. When I woke up from the dream I knew it was from the Lord! I immediately called her on the phone at about 7:00 in the morning. For years the dream haunted me. I knew that the Lord had showed me this was going to be her life (spirtually) and that I was going to have to be there for her when the time came. I would have to help her up and take her to the Hospital. The Lord's House!

Well that day has come. Two years ago Cindy lost her marriage, she lost custody of her children , lost her home, car and everything she owned. In her dispair she turned to Meth. For 2 years I had only two contacts from her. And those were at the end. I had no idea what had happened to my friend. One day she called from jail. That was 10 months ago!

I reached out to help her and she has found her way back to the Lord! She has been clean for 10 months. We started praying for her children her life and for a job and a home. The Lord has restored all of this to her. She has went to court for 2 other things and the Lord has worked all of it out.

Tomorrow is her big court date! Big I am telling you Please you must know that the things she did was a result of severe depression she needed to be in treatment for this a few years ago. I know the Lord has been so faithful to her and I just pray that tomorrow goes the same! Her husband is on drugs severely and the grandmother that would get the kids if something were to happen is not a christian. I will be going to court with her at 1:30. Pray that God will get the Glory in all of this.

Praying so ferverntly! He is SOOO awesome, and so good to us, even though we are undeserving. You are such a blessing of a friend to her, and I look forward to hearing something positive from you tomorrow, in regards to her court date!

Let Cindy know that we are praying for her! She definately has a great friend in you, Val...and I am glad that she came back to the LORD. He will restore her completely!

Sigh. I hate to see this things happening. . Makes me very sad. She will be in my prayer .

Like to ask u something.
1. Why do people divorce and marry other female or male. That is adultery.
2. I hear divorce commonly in america throught majority are Christians and they do all this stuff.
3. This is really harming children to full extent?. Why do parents do this terrible stuff. Children are like Gold.

I hate to see this things.

We just got back from court. She did not get a sentence today. She was kind of bummed. I told her the Lord just does not have everything ironed out. I just told Pamela that when I first got there today that I had a spirit of fear come over me. I immediately went to the Lord. His response to me was:

STAND STILL AND SEE THE SALVATION OF THE LORD!

WOW! The Lord is so good. I am just going to sit back and watch Him work!

Thank you for all of your prayers. I told Cindy that I had shared her story and ask for prayer. I also told her that I put it on here because I knew that there would be no doubt she would be lifted up. Thank you for your prayers and concern.

I'm praying to Valerie! Cindy will conquer this!!!

I hate to see these things too. It breaks my heart.

1.Sometimes the adultery is the cause of the divorce and the other partner has no say in that.
2. Why is divorce common? Because in the last days, their hearts will grow cold. If both partners are true God-fearing Christians than divorce is rare.
3. Children are gold. The most precious thing that anyone can have in their life, next to God and Jesus and they can teach us so much about our Father in heaven.

Whiteknight, these are good questions. Did you know that in the Bible, God actually divorced himself from Israel due to their sin? So divorce really isn't that new. And adultery can mean more than choosing another partner or marrying another. You can have spiritual adultery going on in your heart as well. Do you know you are committing adultery if you have any other idols than the Lord? That means anything... if means putting something other than the 1st commandment first in your life, which is to love God. So there are many reasons for adultery, and there always will be due to our fallen condition. I agree, parents should not do this to their children, but it has been going on since the beginning of time. I think we are just aware of it more now.
