Tonight April 18 2006 The Lord has worked through His children. Let me give you some background on what happened. First off I give thanksgiving to God for His amazing love and faithfulness for all. Every tuesday the men from Christ Is The Answer church gather together for prayer and God's word. Regularly we pray inside of a person's house but tonight The Holy Spirit has led us to burger king. Our plan was to eat there and come to someone's home to pray. We spent about 3 hours in there! I couldn't believe it but it was for God's glory. This is what happened when we came in: We ordered food, sat down, finished everything. As we were about to go on our way my pastor told us in the lines of "we should stay just for a bit". Surely enough we did and from there we studied God's word about being good stewards, being responsible, the truth will set you free. As we closed in prayer, little did I know we were actually praying inside the burger king. I didn't care that people saw us praying for I am not ashamed of Jesus my Savior. One prayer request was for God's divine direction , His will and purpose for the church. About 20 minutes after, we finish. As we were about to leave a homeless, native indian approached our table. He took a sit and told us in the lines of "I believe/appreciate in what you guys are doing". He then proceeded to cry and tell us his situation. Being God's child and what He has taught me, I came to him..hugged him and comforted him. He is still in tears by the way. I was truly moved!!
He told us how he was somehow led to burger king and little did we know he saw us praying. He told us he was about to fight a guy but he caught a glimpse of us and sat beside our table. He told us that he felt peace surrounding us. Oh yes The Holy Spirit was indeed there. After about an hour and a half we prayed the salvation prayer. I could tell He was a new creature in God's name! We gave him something to eat and two bags of empty bottles so he could get money. He was so grateful that we were "kind". But all glory comes to God. We do not enjoy praises from men but from God. Tonight God has answered so many prayers and he has given us direction and purpose for our church. Now he is coming to church this sunday!! Wooooooooooo praise the Lord for His wonderful ways. Let us all be obedient to Him and let us not act upon on our own will but only His! Glory to Him that shed His blood. Do not accept praises from men but direct them to God. Let us be vessels that the Lord can use and work through. His will be done in earth as it is in heaven! can I get an amen!?!?!

Just think that if you men had not followed GOD'S leading on where the prayer meeting should be held....PRAISE GOD for all of you listening to GOD. Praise GOD for the new person in Christ JESUS! Praise GOD that this person has a new family in JESUS and a church to nuture and grow in!

This is a true blessing. The testimony of following in what GOD wants us to do and to be...A LIGHT to the WORLD!
