Yesterday I was resting and watching one of those old biblical epics - the 1965 movie "The Greatest Story Ever Told". Telly Savalas played Pontius Pilot and he was firing questions at 'Jesus'. There were idols of gods carved out of stone behind him and he said 'this God of yours, where is he? How come I have never met him?'. Jesus replied "because you havent looked for Him". BANG! You know when the hairs on the back of your head stand up on end of your neck and you get one of 'those' moments? Well, that happened to me.

Our God IS NOT A DICTATOR, He is a loving God with whom one has a two way relationship with. You will only get an answer if you ask, you will find God if you actively seek him, the door will be opened if you knock. So many times I have muttered to God, 'Oh why didnt you do this or that or the other', its because I didnt ask. If I want a closer relationship with God and a more deeping understanding of His Word, then I make the first steps, ask Him.
