I believe this maniac has this backwards. If anyone will be wiped out, it will be him.
Keep talking against Israel and see what happens. Tempting God would not be a fun position to put oneself in.

The president of Iran again lashed out at Israel on Friday and said it was "heading toward annihilation," just days after Tehran raised fears about its nuclear activities by saying it successfully enriched uranium for the first time.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called Israel a "permanent threat" to the Middle East that will "soon" be liberated. He also appeared to again question whether the Holocaust really happened.



"Like it or not, the Zionist regime is heading toward annihilation," Ahmadinejad said at the opening of a conference in support of the Palestinians. "The Zionist regime is a rotten, dried tree that will be eliminated by one storm."

Ahmadinejad provoked a world outcry in October when he said Israel should be "wiped off the map."

On Friday, he repeated his previous line on the Holocaust, saying: "If such a disaster is true, why should the people of this region pay the price? Why does the Palestinian nation have to be suppressed and have its land occupied?"

The land of Palestine, he said, referring to the British mandated territory that includes all of Israel, Gaza and the West Bank, "will be freed soon."

He did not say how this would be achieved, but insisted to the audience of at least 900 people: "Believe that Palestine will be freed soon."

"The existence of this (Israeli) regime is a permanent threat" to the Middle East, he added. "Its existence has harmed the dignity of Islamic nations."

Why does it not surprise me this is released on GOOD FRIDAY?

Doesn't surprise me, either, Tig! And Israel is the one that will soon be liberated!

I've always believed that it would be a major part of the Two Witnesses' role to protect Israel from that kind of stuff, but I know God can do it on His own, even without the help of any men. Still, it would be a powerful witness to the people of Israel to have people testify to them of Jesus and at the same time protect them from their enemies. How could you deny that? It would be really cool.

Here's a different take:

One of the main reasons behind the U.S. wanting to control Iran and their nukes perhaps resides within this discovery I have to offer:

In the bible it states that during Armageddon, "peoples tongues shall melt in their mouths" and, "Peoples eye balls will melt in their sockets".

At the time this was written there were no such weapons that could create such an outcome, but now, we have the weapon and it is called nukes. The fear that Iran, a Muslim state, would gain access to nukes is ever more in need of control because this Muslim country would love to challenge the western belief in revelations by trying to kick it off. The threat that Iran would love to "test the prophesy" by sending nukes into Armageddon, Israel, is real and therefore the U.S. may take every measure to insure that this does not happen.

And why not you may ask? Because quite simply it isn't a challenge of us against them, or preaching about how my religion is the right way and the only way, rather it is about the ultimate challenge; the very essence of our countries making, that from one nation from many people, who God has favored their undertaking, shall bring a new order for the world. By choice, and by action, we, the diverse people, have been challenged by God to help create a more divine existence upon earth; Heaven on Earth. The founding forefathers knew this, the more enlightened know this, it's time that everyone knows this.

And on the Legal tender of the U.S. One Dollar bill you will find in Latin the reminders:

"E PLURIBUS UNUM", meaning "one nation from many people."

ANNUIT COEPTIS, means "God has favored our undertaking."'

NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM, is interpreted to mean "a new order for the world."

What can you do to help bring a more divine presence upon earth? Choose goodness, as it is the ultimate way to Heaven.

By the way, another note on this. Iran's leader said that Israel will be Annihilated soon, which makes me immediately think of the Ezekiel prophecy involving Russia, Perhaps there is a plan in place to go against Israel soon.

Look at what Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said recently as posted on fox news internet site:

The defiant stance came hours before a meeting in Moscow of senior diplomats from the five permanent U.N. Security Council members and Germany to discuss the issue and less than two weeks before a council deadline for Iran to stop uranium enrichment.

"Today, you are among the world's most powerful armies because you rely on God," Ahmadinejad declared at a parade to commemorate Army Day.

"Iran's enemies know your courage, faith and commitment to Islam and the land of Iran has created a powerful army that can powerfully defend the political borders and the integrity of the Iranian nation and cut off the hand of any aggressor and place the sign of disgrace on their forehead," Ahmadinejad said.

Later in the article he says:

While threatening possible aggressors, Ahmadinejad said Iran's army would "serve peace and security for mankind especially the region and its neighbors."

The "power of our army will be no threat to any country. Our army carries the message of peace and security... . It is humble toward friends and a shooting star toward enemies," he said.

On the one hand he talks about peace and security, but on the other he seems to want to invite a confrontation with the West.
