Scripture Focus…

NOW AFTER the Sabbath, near dawn of the first day of the week, Mary of Magdala and the other Mary went to take a look at the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled the boulder back and sat upon it. His appearance was like lightning, and his garments as white as snow. And those keeping guard were so frightened at the sight of him that they were agitated and they trembled and became like dead men. But the angel said to the women, Do not be alarmed and frightened, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, Who was crucified. He is not here; He has risen, as He said [He would do]. Come, see the place where He lay. Then go quickly and tell His disciples, He has risen from the dead, and behold, He is going before you to Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you. So they left the tomb hastily with fear and great joy and ran to tell the disciples. And as they went, behold, Jesus met them and said, Hail (greetings)! And they went up to Him and clasped His feet and worshiped Him. Then Jesus said to them, Do not be alarmed and afraid; go and tell My brethren to go into Galilee, and there they will see Me. While they were on their way, behold, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had occurred. And when they [the chief priests] had gathered with the elders and had consulted together, they gave a sufficient sum of money to the soldiers, And said, Tell people, His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we were sleeping. And if the governor hears of it, we will appease him and make you safe and free from trouble and care. So they took the money and did as they were instructed; and this story has been current among the Jews to the present day. Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed and made appointment with them. And when they saw Him, they fell down and worshiped Him; but some doubted. Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).

We recently received a testimony of a person who had been diagnosed with cancer about three years ago. A lady who attends morning prayer, had taken the same confession we did yesterday and had the person repeat it after her. When x-rays were retaken, the cancer was completely gone. He had been healed! Hallelujah!

Today as we partake in communion, we are going to "double up" meaning, we are going to take two communions, one for ourselves and one, by faith, for whoever the Lord puts on our heart. We are going to stand in the gap for whatever it is that they need.

Before taking communion, there are four things we should consider:

1. Look inward and examine ourselves. Have we anything that needs to be removed? Cut out? Put under the Blood?
2. Look outward and see if we have any unforgiveness, strife, division with others.
3. Look upwards because through Him, through His Blood we are made whole in our spirit, soul, and body.
4. Look forward, out ahead of where we are right now. Live every day with expectancy that we will fulfill our God-given assignments.

…that the Lord Jesus on the night when He was treacherously delivered up and while His betrayal was in progress took bread, And when He had given thanks, He broke [it] and said, Take, eat. This is My body, which is broken for you. Do this to call Me [affectionately] to remembrance. Similarly when supper was ended, He took the cup also, saying, This cup is the new covenant [ratified and established] in My blood. Do this, as often as you drink [it], to call Me [affectionately] to remembrance. For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are representing and signifying and proclaiming the fact of the Lord's death until He comes [again].
(1 Cor. 11:23b-26 AMP)

Prayed…

* You are faithful and Your Word is working today and it always will
* Thank you for what You've done, for the place You've set us in, the call You've placed within
* We lift up those that have not been to church in years
* This Easter weekend we call for souls, we call for a mighty harvest
* They will hear the Word and be saved
* We thank you in advance for a supernatural presence
* That You would dominate the services
* Not something we could drum up but a supernatural presence
* Such a pull on hearts
* They'd hear a new note, a new plan
* They'll jump out of the old way and into the new—Your way
* Altars filled with those coming to You
* We come against hindrances in Jesus' name! Strife get out!
* We pray for Pastor Mac, the message, the music, every detail
* From the time people come in, the anointing of the Holy Ghost will fall on the people even as they sit their seats
* A touch and a change opening up eyes and hearts
* It's our heartfelt prayer that more souls would come in
* It is because of the Blood
* We also continue to pray that we would increase and take another step and move deeper into You
* We've not come this far to settle down, sit back or relax
* We've come to press through, go over and go where we haven't gone before
* Even if no one else wants to go, I'm going!
* Altering situations
* Building back some bridges
* Restoring things that seemed to be in disarray
* We're asking for a double increase of souls!
