This week we are focusing on the nation of Japan.

* Japan is the largest unreached people group in the world and
has recently witnessed the explosive growth of hundreds of new religions often with an added New Age twist.
* Japan is a very methodical society presenting a false sense of unity. The fear of breaking out and going against the grain lies at the root of the control over this nation.
* Japan has strongly resisted the Gospel but is also very closed naturally speaking. Immigration is extremely low and even their language limits outsiders from acclimating to this culture.

* Life Expectancy: 81.2 years
* Literacy Rate: Male 99%, Female 99%

Prayer Points

* Christians are a tiny minority in a society where consensus is important. Few families come to faith and those who do, feel exposed. Pray that the spirit of fear would be broken and that believers would boldly and courageously testify of their faith in God.
* Of all churches, 70% have an average attendance of less than 30 and the number of
Christian church leaders is at an all-time low. Pray for God to raise up men and women who will not only spiritually feed the people but lead them in the ways of God.
* New religions and sects have grown faster than evangelical Christianity and there is a resurgence of Shintoism which is hostile to anything un-Japanese. Pray that all those involved would be set free.

Government

* Chief of State: Emperor Akihito
* Head of Government: Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi
* Type of Government: Constitutional Monarchy with a Parliamentary Government
* Koizumi was criticized for sending troops to Iraq. This was the first Japanese combat zone deployment since World War II.

Prayer Points

* Japan's economy has experienced rapid growth as they have cornered the market on taking an invention such as the car or television and making them better. Pray for opportunities for the Gospel to be preached through Christian business men and women.
* Japan is currently experiencing a negative birth rate and although youth live at home until they are married, sexual activity is high and "love hotels" where you pay by the hour are very popular. Pray for ways to reach this generation with the Gospel.
* Pregnancies are many, resulting in a high abortion rate. Due to the number of abortions, many women have difficulty conceiving and carrying a baby full-term when they do marry. Pray for God to heal these women emotionally and physically as only He can do.

Prayed…

* We are asking for ways and means that are beyond the abilities of man to penetrate Japan with the Gospel
* Cracks would break open wider and wider
* Send forth laborers that are specifically called for a time as this
* Anointings and equipment being released
* Obedience to go forth
* Japan would be touched and changed with the Gospel
* Greater boldness and courage on believers to speak
* Touch Your people Lord beyond prayer for us to "Go ye"
* Our hearts are crying and calling for the precious fruit in Japan
* We lift up the young generation to be raised up and go
* Loose them now to bring about dramatic change
* The "sonlight" would penetrate from the north to the south and east to the west
* That the mission of the church would be seen and apprehended for Japan
* Revelation that they don't need to remain stuck and hopeless
* We loose the angels, ministering spirits to go
* Where spiritual leaders have felt helpless, angels go and encourage and strengthen them
* Signs and wonders
* Financial and human resources
* Revisit those who have been called to Japan and make it plain the pathway
* No longer questioning, but responding and saying "Yes" to the call
* Stretch out the borders
* All nations, every tongue and every tribe would hear the glorious Gospel
* Arising to the hunger and the plan
* There must be more!
* Men, women would raise up here and there and their voice would be amplified
* The voice of God would pierce and penetrate
* Signs and wonders and your Word would be attended to
* Holy Spirit blow in the land of Japan
* Flood the land with Your power Lord (we sang in the Spirit over Japan)
* Moving into places of authority, moving into religious establishments in Japan
* Every place, every home, every office opening it up by the Blood
* We apply the Blood and enter in by the Blood
* There is a way
* Going forth, the church in power, the church in it's glory
* Mountains will move, get out! Move!
* False religions, false spirits are broken, be revealed and be removed!
* Rising, the church is rising up by Your power!
* Rising in the light
* Unusual manifestations
* A time of demonstrations and miracles
* Not just in Japan but all over the globe, every region, every nation
* Signs and wonders
* Alterations, transformations!
* Changing into the new!
* Glory! Miracles! The glory is here!
* The wonder of it all, how You shine in great splendor
* It's Your goodness that we see, it's Your glory
* Nothing compares to Your glory
* Your love is why we're here
* Your Blood brings healing, restoration, wholeness and fullness
