I recall on a day that I had watched my nieces play with their dolls. They would hold them in their hands and put words in their mouths and play out their roles. Invariably there were some dolls they handled in the role of a hero or as a villian. But should they set down that doll it had no power so as to even lift itself off the floor.
Sometimes I feel people are like dolls in God's hands, his angles appointed to guard us, watch us. We are animated by forces of the spirit realm, that God has set in motion. We are as dolls but people see themselves as much more, as intelligent, self governing peoples empowered to make choices on their own.
I wonder....
Romans 9:20-21
Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? 21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
