Just a thought:

The Bible says that the Great Tribulation will last 1260 days and happy the one who waits 1335 days:

1335 - 1260 = 75

75 = 40 + 35

Let's see the 40 days first:
I believe that we will receive our glorified bodies during the Rapture and our clothes and skin will shine as Jesus did on the Mount of Transfiguration.

Just as Jesus stayed 40 DAYS AFTER HIS RESURRECTION to encourage his apostles and give them more power, we too will stay 40 days on earth in our glorified bodies to encourage and strengthen those left behind.

Thus the G. Tribulation can be counted either as:
day 1-40: witness of people in glorified bodies
Day 40-1300 : (1260 days) from the ascension to Heaven of people in their glorified bodies till the end of G. Tribulation.

Now the 35 days:
For a Jew, the 70th week of Daniel will last 2520 days, or 7 jewish/biblical years of 360 days each.

To a Jew counting the days during the G.Tribulation, it might look like after 1260 days, the end of his troubles are near, but I believe God meant to tell the Jews to calculate in modern years of 365 days each, will account for the 35 additional days.

It is interesting to note that the end of the 69th week will come with the...6.9 year-tribulation period since 2520 : 365 gives 6.9....!

this comes after " there will have been a finishing of the dashing of the power of the holy people to pieces, all these things will come to thier finish." 12:7.

I hope I have explained myself well. Last night I thought about it again, and thought to give more details to my explanation about what is to take place during the Seven-Year Tribulation. Of course, this is not the absolute truth, but often we tend to search too deep to find the most obvious facts. All I know is WHEN it all takes place, people will say: AH! I see, it's like that! How simple and so wise and so awesome, for God is not the author of confusion!

Yet with God's order, I understand and believe that there are MANY ways to calculate the same thing, and it all fits somehow together down the road... and it will too!

Since the Bible works by TYPES, the following scenario could very well be the case.


At an unknown day ("the day that no one knows"), people go shortly to Heaven to receive their glorified bodies just like Jesus received His after He had talked to Mary Magdalene, then like Jesus we will come down on earth WITH our glorified bodies and minister to the left behind for 40 days (day 1 - day 40 of Tribulation)

Then, like Jesus went back to Heaven after having stayed with his disciples 40 days, we too will go to Heaven, and stay there for exactly 7 years. (now I don't know if we will stay 360 x 7 days or 365 x 7 days, which is still "seven" years...

day 40 of Tribulation is actual start of first 1,260 day period (Day 40 - day 1300 of Tribulation)

day 1300 of Tribulation: Antichrist breaks covenant, desecrates Temple of God (abomination of desolation) by sacrificing a pig (like Antiochus Ephiphanes, another prototype of Antichrist), destroys temple and demands worship of himself (in New "interfaith" temple?). This period lasts 1260 days + 35 additional days to make up for the difference between our calendar year (365 days) and the Jewish calendar year (360 days). (respectively day 1300 - 2560 of Tribulation and day 2560 - 2595 of Tribulation)

So we have 40 days + 1260 days + 1260 days + 35 days.


remember the fishing of the 153 fishes (153, MAJOR symbol of the Rapture) took place AFTER the resurrection of Jesus and DURING these 40 days!

I was thinking: 40 DAYS OF AWE! start 1 Elul, LASTS 40 DAYS and end 10 Tishri (Yom Kippur); EVERY DAY, the Trumpet blows! People will (?) have 40 days to repent until the LAST TRUMPET BLOWS! Then people will go to Heaven!
They have a 40-day window/opportunity to repent...
