Last night I had two dreams, one was a dream with a recurring theme that I have had many times, the second was a new dream that I thought was just a silly dream until I received the interpretation shortly after I awoke.

The first dream I have fairly often. Some bad people, or bad forces are trying to get me and I start running, faster and faster and then the thought comes to me, "they can't touch me, I can just fly out of here" and I lift off the ground and take off like a jet, leaving them far behind.

In my second dream, my son was a teenager (he's 7 now). We were both homeless, living out of an old like 1960 impala, it was beatup but still running. We kept finding odd jobs that kept us fed but we weren't doing very good. I had a rich friend in the city that we were in but I hadn't turned to him because of pride, I didn't want him to see how poor I was. Finally I just couldn't take the poverty anymore and decided to turn to him. There was a market square near his house, my son was a painter and he was getting some work painting portraits in the square, while I went off to the public bathroom to cleanup as I was very dirty and unkempt and I didn't want my friend to see me that way. I got done taking a shower, I realized I didn't have a towel to dry off, so I went to my friend's house soaking wet. I told him I was sorry I was soaking wet and explained my circumstances. He told me, "Don't worry, I have to go on a trip for a month, in the meantime you can stay at my house and eat my food". Then he spoke to me with power and conviction in his voice and said, "When I get back, we are going to get you a really good job you will be successful at, a nice house to live in and we are going to fix up that old heap like it was brand new".

When I first woke up, I thought it was just a silly dream but then the interpretation came to me and it was powerful.

My friend was Jesus, he was always there for me, but I suffered needlessly because of pride, I thought I could fix the situation myself and didn't want to bother him. When I finally humbled myself, before I could see him, I had to cleanse myself (this means repentance). Completely humbled and dripping wet with the tears of my repentance, I turned to Jesus. He assured me that everything was going to be ok, he was not going to answer my prayers right away but will provide for my basic needs, when he comes back after a short time he will tell me what to do and where to live and completely heal me (the old heap is my old body suffering from an incurable condition).

I went for a walk during lunch and the following bible verse came to me, it fits in perfectly with my dream.

John 14
2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Wow as I read your dream I to thought of that verse! What an awesome dream and interpretion the Lord gave you. What an encouragement this is even for myself. As far as fiances I have always come up short. Yet to personally know the God of the Universe who owns it all is so comforting. And just to think for 2000 years He has been preparing me a place to spend eternity with Him.
It is overwhelming to me and has literally moved me to tears.
Thank You Jesus!

Thank You for sharing this,
Sometime we all need encouragement and this was mine today!

Your Friend in Christ,
