I would like to share a dream/vision I had. I share it because I want to help others that love the Lord, but have an issue with fear for these end times. I was so afraid of the end times, worrying about it all the time, and then I had this dream/vision.

It began with my children and I having fun on a Virginia Beach, Virginia (East Coast) beach. I was sitting down and my two children were playing near the surf. All of a sudden I heard a loud noise, a rumbling, coming from the North. I looked to the left and saw a huge mushroom shaped, billowing mass coming towards us. I began to scream for my kids, and we ran toward each other, meeting halfway. The beach was extremely crowded and people were screaming, panicking, and running toward the water. My kids were crying and looking to me, and all of a sudden, I was instantly submerged in the peace of the Lord. I calmly told my kids to get down on their knees with me, and we held each other in a little huddle. They were still crying and I could see the fear in both of their eyes. I saw myself smiling and I heard myself tell them not to be afraid. I told them to hold on to me, and that in just a minute we were all going to see Jesus. The noise was growing louder by the second. We began praying, asking God to forgive us for our sins, telling Him that we love Him. We held each other very tightly, huddled together in a little ball. And, very excited, I told them we were going to see Jesus in just a second. Then, we could no longer hear anything but the approaching wall of flames. I saw people beginning to disintegrate before my eyes, people screaming and burning to ash, and felt sand hitting all around us. I knew it would be over quick, and we would be with Jesus. But then, all of a sudden, there was perfect silence and calmness. I opened my eyes, and so did my children. All of the people around us were gone, and we were perfectly fine. No burns, no smoke, no nothing. We had been protected supernaturally. I lifted my forearm to my nose and smelled it, we didn't even smell a little smiokey. It was the most amazing experience. I was completely expecting to die quickly and then see the Lord. But, He had other plans for us. Absolutely amazing!

I'm not sure if I had this dream/vision because it's going to happen like this, or if the Lord just wanted to heal my uncontrollable fears that were beginning to take over my life. What I do know though, is that I am no longer afraid of the end times. Believe me, I have always been a very scared, worry wart, but during this dream/vision I was brave, and completely okay with dying because I understood that it an instant we would be with the Lord. There was such peace, it was the most safe and at the same time wonderfully exciting moment I have ever had.

We just recently moved from the Virginia Beach area (Chesapeake) to Monroe, NC (near Charlotte). We are planning to go back to VB though, for Spring Break in a couple of weeks. I will definitely be keeping an eye on the North. (grin.)

Welcome to the forum! Wow, that was a most powerful dream. My brother is in the Navy and lives in VA Beach, what a small world!

I am glad you posted, seems many of us are posting dreams lately and we are coming to terms with fear. I am grateful to hear what you have to say and the Lord is in Control at all times, you have to believe that and know he is watching over us ALL!!

Thank you to all of you that have welcomed me to this forum. What a blessing you are. I had initially doubted whether or not I should even post my dream, since I had only recently found this web forum. Now, I am so glad I did.

I am very excited about what the Lord is showing and teaching each of us. This forum is a true blessing to me.
