Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord...

I come today asking for the prayers of my family in Christ...regardless of religious denomination, those of us who place our trust in Him and what He accomplished for us...because He loved (and loves) us so...are family. And it's to that part of the family here on-site that I come, requesting prayer. Over the past month I've had to deal with serious illness (which caused me to be admitted to the local ER), had to give up two jobs (the first, my tax preparer's job due to the doctor's advice...and a second one I took in hopes of having some kind of employment to support my son and I but which I had to give up not only for reasons of health issues but also because of a conflict of conscience)...I've spent the last month trying to locate some other means of employment...because I was honest, and told all my reasons for having to leave my last job, I can no longer receive federal assistance for food for us or obtain unemployment...I've went around town handing out and putting up on bulletin boards handwritten cards in the hopes of getting some kind of work to do while I am healing. I was able to get a babysitting job, but at a much lower rate of pay (just a little over $3 an hour)...I have no insurance and things are getting critical...in so many areas. Please pray for us...God bless and thanks!!!!!

Father I thank you for hearing my prayer as I lift up devorah to you right now in Jesus Name. Father I ask that you pour over her your healing balm and allow her body to recovery quickly so she may go out and find employement that will supply her and her son's needs. Father watch over them and keep them safe from the enemies schemes and don't allow the enemy to steal anymore from them. Build her up in her faith as she hears your word Father. I ask these things in Jesus Name....amen..

I stand with you in prayer! Devorah, keep your eyes on Him.. He will provide for you and your son. Keep your faith strong!

Please continue to pray...am facing a very real battle here!!! I'm getting the feeling like I'm on the devil's most wanted list...things are crashing all over...now even the babysitting job I had has hit a snag...I was to begin work yesterday but now I'm not so sure that I'll be getting it after all...But GOD'S HERE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STORM WITH US...and I KNOW HE SEES AND WILL PROVIDE (that He IS Jehovah-Jireh!!!!)...PLEASE STAND WITH ME!!!!!!!!!! PS. The job that I was to have babysitting (as well as doing some bookkeeping) have both disappeared like so much smoke...but I STILL KNOW AND BELIEVE THAT GOD SEES AND IS MY PROVIDER...and praise HIM for the victory that HE will have in this (and all areas of our lives)...and if any of you are also facing difficult times, join me in keeping your eyes on Jesus...for HE WILL SEE US THROUGH!!!!!!!!!!!

A song I learned as a child comes to mind and is my praise to Him tonight:

Don't worry about being on the hit list of him underneath your shoe (thats were he belongs and thats were he is...
he can write you on his little list and look at you but just think of 1john 5vs18 the wicked one shall not touch him(or her)..thats you and me....he can't touch us....we are untouchable because we are in Christ.....
i read some were about smith- wigglesworth being woke up during the night to see the devil at the edge of his bed...........he didn't panic like we might or try and bind him and drive him away...
he just said "oh it's you" and turned over and went back to sleep
that really stuck in my mind and when i feel the devil or his cohrts are after me i just think on that story and remember he has no power..only to decieve....ecept what we allow him to have...all his power was stripped from him by Jesus....the devil is absolutely scared of us (in case we actualy realise hat power we have and use it against him....We have the living spirit of God in us...we have the love of almighty God pouring out from heaven to bless us 24/7...blessings poured out ,overtaking us.......we can ask God for something in jesus name and he hears and answers!!

A positive came to mind as I was reading your post...PTL , he tends to stir up stuff for those connected with and who in everything submit lordship to Jesus Christ alone...a VERY COMFORTING THOUGHT!!!!!!!!!!! And I hope you all won't take that like I'm saying "I'm all that and a bag of chips" because that's NOT what I mean...just trying to look for the positives instead of the negatives in what's going on...and I DO believe that what he means for hurt, God'll use to draw me closer to Him and to touch others' lives too!!!!! So PTL, I DO count it "all joy" because I KNOW something incredible is going to come out of all this...and I can hardly wait!!!!!!!

Girl, I'm praying for you & Bradley. You are prescious in His sight. Ps 37:18-19, 39-40.

God bless you David...I feel all "itchy" in my spirit...excited and jittery...but not in a bad way...just REALLY "wound for sound" for what's about to take place through all this...and about the things He's using to teach and sharpen me with ...I'm clinging to Isaiah 54, knowing Him to be my Husband...a father like none other for my son...and our Provider and Protector...there's just something "in the air" and it's got me feeling like a kid at Christmas...Praise His Name!!!!! God is SOOOOOOOOOO wonderful!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys!

Sorry that it's been a bit since I've been here...I ended up tearing a couple of muscles in my knee and was unable to sit at the desk to type...

A lot has occurred since I was last here...I've placed ads on bulletin boards and in the newspaper to try and get work that will allow me to heal up and work with my son's school schedules but without any visible success...I'm still listed with an employment agency here in town but no responses there either. I'm qualified (I'm told) to be a substitute teacher here in our school system but without a car have no means of transportation to get me to the different schools that I'd be working at. And we've lost the majority of our Federal assistance...the hardest part is I've talked with the doctor who told me it would be good to do to get a less stressful job...and he's telling me now that he will not sign anything stating that he even hinted at having said such a thing...and that REALLY hurts!!!!!!!!!! Because if it wasn't for him having said it, I would have tried to stick it out with the job I was at anyway...BUT I KNOW THAT THERE IS NO MAN OR DEMON MORE POWERFUL THAN MY LORD...GOD KNOWS WHAT'S GOING DOWN...AND I WILL CONTINUE TO DECLARE THAT HE IS GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL forgive this doctor (not because I feel like it but because that's what Jesus told us to do and the example that He gave for us to follow!!!) and I say all this here because I'm taking a stand and I choose not to let the devil think he has won...God IS God and I KNOW and DECLARE in faith things will be OK!!!!!!!! In Jesus Name!!!!!!!!!!!
