Dear friends
I strongly suspect trojan "sploit[1].anr" to have infected my computer. Detected by my (free version) of McAfee who could not erase it; have since installed free limited time adware (can't afford to buy one now) but it's too late, have tried my luck on the net but after they all promise to "kill for free the trojan", all they do is scan your PC and then try to make you buy the version
and I am just about crazy with it!
It freezes, won't let me access the net or my files, and when I click on "scan" using the software I already have, it won't let me do anything else; it's either let the whole scan run through or restart the computer and access then the internet.
The Bible says that "Everything that has a name has to bow down to the name of Jesus"; well I already did it (yesterday) but I need some backup here. My PC is playing crazier by the minute and I don't wish my financial data to be pirated; I definitely cannot afford it!
Please pray for me to have the funds to buy me a decent firewall and to get rid of this nasty horsie!
Thanks
Senteami

I had one of those nasty little wormies one day. The more you try to remove it the more it digs in. I copied all of the important things I wanted onto a cd then had to reformat the hard drive. It's a big hassle, but at least I was able to save some files. If you do decide to do it make sure you scan the files again before you put them back on your computer. More than likely the only part of your computer that's infected is your system files, but sometimes you get a nasty one that infects everything. I've lost several computers in my business due to these nasties!!! So far, Norton antivirus has been the most reliable for me. Haven't had a problem since... I really dislike Mcafee...too many bugs! Wish I could help more!
I'll pray for you!!
Love, Lisa

Senteami, Our internet provider gave us online help with some of the problem viruses, and walked me through them step by step, without extra charge; to eradicate the virus from our computer.
You may be able to back your computer data to a date before the virus attacked. You will need to put your computer in safe mode for the application. If you know when the virus attack happened. Go into your Accesories panel. Look under system tools, and see if you have a back-up option on your computer. If you are unsure, call a computer service. They usually can remove the virus for you. Some computer services may ask to have a maintenance policy on your pc. It may be worth the investment.
Hope this helps. I know it can be frustrating.
