Full Version: Prayers For Israeli Elections

Many prayers should be directed towards Israel and her people this week. General elections are to be held on Mar. 28th.

Latest polls show that the Kadima party that Ariel Sharon started, and Ehud Olmert, Sharon's replacement, are leading with a significant majority.

It's been widely speculated that the Kadima party with Olmert at the helm claiming to carry out a plan that Sharon wanted to, and that was an Israeli pullout from 95% of the West Bank settlements AND divide Jerusalem.

This past Friday during a campaign rally, Olmert made his and Kadima's intentions public and clear, they WILL pullout from the west bankand divide Jerusalem.

I haven't been able to find any later polls that might reflect a change in Israeli attitude since making those statements and I pray that this news has swept the land of Israel opening thier eyes for what looks like to take place if they don't cast the right vote.

Benjamin Netanyahu seems to be the only candidate who knows what he's up against and what NOT to do, not to give up anymore land.(particularly ANY of Jerusalem)

Israeli Election And More

Posted: Tuesday, March 21, 2006
- written by jerry golden

One week from today (MARCH 28th TUESDAY),we go to the polls to vote here in Israel, if one is to believe the N.W.O. News Media and spin doctors Kadima will run away with the election. Hopefully the Israeli Jews have not been deceived and still understand what a Zionist Jewish State was meant to be in the eyes of God and the Jewish people.

The Disengagement of Gaza was the sadist day in the modern State of Israel, not only was 9,000 Jews kicked out of their homes losing their livelihood but have since been treated like second class citizens living in hotel rooms and tents around the country, with thousands of Jewish kids so traumatized they will never be able to understand what has happened to them, or ever be able to trust another Israeli Government. And the only reward is now we have an al-Qaida presence in Gaza and lead by a Terrorist group who still swears to destroy Israel. What is even harder to understand is the “Palestinians” who voted Hamas knew full well they were voting for a Terrorist group that has only one agenda, to destroy Israel, but still they think the world should continue to feed and take care of them, when they chose war instead of peace with Israel.

The EU says they will not send money to a PA Government led by Hamas but turned around and sent $78 Million to them knowing they are supporting a terrorist entity who will buy weapons with the money instead of feeding the hungry.

But it’s even harder for me to understand why so many still think that the party Sharon created “Kadima” is the answer when it brought us so much pain and misery. Even after Olmert ordered the IDF and Police to beat the kids at Amona who where protesting only to keep the land God has promised them, still the news media is so powerful in brainwashing with its new world order propaganda that this corrupt party Kadima still is the front runner. I would have never believe this could have happened in Israel and it is still necessary for me to see the election results before I can actually believe the Israeli Jews have sunk to such a low in their understanding of what a Jewish State was meant to be.

It is said about many things and many times, that it has to get worse before it will get better. Well hopefully that is the case, for some time soon the Jews of Israel must wake up if they want to keep what God has given them. The only real assurance we have is God’s Word and He says a lot in regards to His people and His city Jerusalem. But Holiness must start at home, and the cleaning must first be done in your own house before you can preach it to others. There is no doubt in my mind that God will shake this country in such a way that every Jew here will fall on his face asking God to forgive him, for God will not be mocked nor will He lie, and He has promised to save Israel from these Devil’s who want so badly to destroy us.

It is also obvious to me that Churches around the world are waking up and understanding the evil in the preaching of Replacement Theology. And coming to the knowledge of their Jewish Roots, understanding that to please God in these end days they must support Israel against those who wish to destroy us.

You may have heard that Israel now has many cases of the Bird Flu, but what you are not being told is they are all bordering around the Gaza Strip, there are 7 Moshavim that have millions of birds being destroyed. One thing we can be certain is if 7 Jewish Moshavim bordering the Gaza Strip has the bird flu it is also effected throughout the Gaza Strip. The question the world should be asking is will the Hamas led government report it if people are dying of it, or will they allow it to spread around the world.

I leave for Cyprus again in 2 days for meetings, and then back to Turkey to negotiate more on the larger boat and more meetings that are so very important to the future activities of this Ministry. Your prayers are asked for as is your support, we now have the needed finances to purchase the boat, but even that is on faith for the finances to pay the Israeli taxes and maintain her has not come in. God has shown us that He will touch those who He will but we must have faith believing Him to meet us as He would.

Today we bought 8 pairs of tennis shoes for the Iranian Jewish family for their kids. I think it is the first pair of new shoes some of them has ever had since arriving in Israel. They were over joyed but the real blessing is to those who sent in the support. We are also working on getting the father a much needed hearing aid.

The Christian Arab family no longer needs our support as the oldest son and one of the daughters are now working, we stay in close contact with those we give support to.

The Ethiopian Jewish family has also become self-supporting enough to make it on their own.

We are down to only one family now, and as soon as we can find the time we will talk with the social worker we know who has a heart of gold and find others to help until they can get on their own.

The support we give to three families (only one at this time) is not our main ministry but one God has directed us into on this level. We are hoping we can get others to do the same, in order to do a lot of good across Israel. When working with only three families we can keep a close watch over things and stop when the time comes in order to find another.

But as you know our Ministry of rescuing Jews is the heart and soul of what God is moving us into. There is so much to be accomplished in what I believe to be a small amount of time to do it in. The completion of the purchase of the larger boat and the taxes and the expenses of the boat as we prepare to move out in a most daring ministry. The groundwork may be more important than anything else for places and routes must be established and that takes a special kind of knowledge and understanding of the people of the region we are moving in. It also takes finances and when we are without the work simply stops. If God has touched you in regards to supporting this ministry now is the time for you to respond to that touch.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for our son Joel, and all the IDF soldiers. Pray for all those who have come to fight the Islamic enemy. Pray for this Ministry and your part in it.

Shalom, jerry golden

From what I've been reading Olmert's Kadima party has been slipping steadily in the polls for the last week. Also of interest, the wild-card in the elections could be young voters (age 21-28) who, according to DEBKA, are generally disinterested in the election because they believe all the major candidates to be incompetent. This cartoon seems to indirectly support DEBKA's analysis. This is pretty much what I've been thinking too, that no matter who wins all hell is going to break loose (literally) in relatively short order. Don't get me wrong though, I've been praying for Israel and the elections and I will continue to until the polls close.

Out of the depth I cry to thee,
O Lord!
Lord, hear my voice!
Let thy ears be attentive
to the voice of my supplications!

If thou, O Lord, shouldst mark iniquities,
Lord, who could stand?
But there is forgiveness with thee,
that thou mayest be feared.

I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope;
my soul waits for the Lord
more than watchmen for the
morning,
more than watchmen for the
morning.

O Israel, hope for the Lord!
For with the Lord there is steadfast
love,
and with him is plenteous
redemption.
And he will redeem Israel from all its
iniquities.

Israel victor sets out programme

Ehud Olmert says he is willing to talk to the Palestinians
Acting Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has declared victory in the election, saying it is now time to "create a new chapter" for the country.
In a speech to members of his centrist Kadima party, he outlined his plans to fulfil an election pledge to establish permanent borders for Israel by 2010.

He said he was prepared to hold peace talks with the Palestinians but would act unilaterally if he had to.

With 75% of votes counted, Kadima has 28 of the 120 seats in parliament.

Standing in front of a massive picture of Ariel Sharon, Mr Olmert paid tribute to the stricken prime minister before laying out his plans for his four-year term in office.

"In the coming period we will move to set the final borders of the state of Israel, a Jewish state with a Jewish majority," Mr Olmert told Kadima party members in what was effectively his victory speech.

"We will try to achieve this in an agreement with the Palestinians. This is our hope and prayer."

He told the Palestinian leadership: "We are ready to compromise, to give up parts of the beloved Land of Israel... and evacuate, under great pain, Jews living there, in order to create the conditions that will enable you to fulfil your dream and live alongside us."

But he said it was time for the Palestinians to "relate to the existence of the state of Israel, to accept only part of their dream, to stop terror, to accept democracy and accept compromise and peace with us."

'Important election'

Electoral officials said voter turnout was 62.3%, the lowest in Israel's history and 5.7 percentage points lower than in the 2003 elections.

With results from 75% of polling stations counted, Kadima has 28 seats, with the centre-left Labour party coming second with 20 seats.

RESULTS - 75% COUNTED
1. Kadima: 28 seats, centrist
2. Labour: 20 seats, centre-left
3. Likud: 12 seats, right-wing
4. Shas: 12 seats, ultra-orthodox
5. Yisrael Beitenu: 11 seats, Russian emigres, far-right
6. National Union-National Religious Party: 9 seats, far-right, pro-settler
7. Gil: 8 seats, right-wing, pensioners
8. United Torah Judaism:6 seats, ultra-orthodox
9. Meretz: 5 seats, left-wing

The BBC's Caroline Hawley says Kadima had hoped to win more seats but will feel the result has given them a mandate to begin forming a coalition.

The right-wing former ruling party, Likud, is trailing with just 12 seats - with the far-right Yisrael Beitenu party, which proposes forcibly transferring Arab towns inside Israel to Palestinian territory, winning 11.

Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu admitted they had "suffered a tough blow" but vowed to rebuild the party.

Israel's President Moshe Katsav earlier said the election was "among the most important in the history of our state".

Since the creation of Israel in 1948, the country has been governed either by the Labour or Likud parties, so a Kadima victory is historic.

Kadima was founded by Mr Sharon last year after leaving Likud amid bitter rows over his withdrawal of settlers and troops from the Gaza Strip.

Israel occupied Gaza and the West Bank, including east Jerusalem in the 1967 war. Its settlements are illegal under international law, although Israel disputes its validity.

After thinking and praying about it for a while I starting to believe that at the end of the day it's not really going to matter much who has won the elections.

Before much more land is given away, Israel will be forced to take action against Iran's nuclear progam, and all the candidates were unified in that respect.

We all know that should Iran get thier nukes that they will use them on Israel. So for Israel to do nothing isn't an option. When Israel does take that action, all hell WILL break loose and all bets are off.

UNLESS

Enter the Anti-christ offering his 7 year peace plan.

Psalm 33:12-15, 18-22

12
Happy is the nation whose God is the LORD! *
happy the people he has chosen to be his own!

13
The LORD looks down from heaven, *
and beholds all the people in the world.

14
From where he sits enthroned he turns his gaze *
on all who dwell on the earth.

15
He fashions all the hearts of them *
and understands all their works.

18
Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon those who fear him, *
on those who wait upon his love,

19
To pluck their lives from death, *
and to feed them in time of famine.

20
Our soul waits for the LORD; *
he is our help and our shield.

21
Indeed, our heart rejoices in him, *
for in his holy Name we put our trust.

22

I love Psalms,
He is our help and our Shield. This is so calming to me.

Today we had a small forest fire at our place. Went right into our woods at
the back of our property. It also started to go towards our barn.
I called 911 for the firetrucks. They came quickly, but my children wrapped their arms around me and told me to pray and not get so excited. God is with us.

Today i forgot about my Lord and took a fit when I saw the fire blazing at the back of our property and going into our bush. Lord forgive me for not going to you and thank you for my children to help me see the light.

My children have such great faith and were calm, when I their mother who should have shown some composure, ran around in a panic.

My husband got home from work and three fire trucks were at the back of the property. He was so calm too and said rosie no one got hurt. God protected us.

I said the devil is after me to my family and they told me he didn't get you.

I have been praising our Lord and worshiping Him in song every morning and then bamb the devil tries and gets a hold of me. He just about had me too, for I
should have prayed right away. My children did. Thank God.

I am praising Him tonight again. Thank you Lord that we are okay.
Forgive me for not going to you right away.
For where does my help come from. From You, I thank you my
Father.
Please forgive my panic.
Lord I need strength, for I know this is nothing compared to what is to come.

Today my children showed me again, that you are dwelling in their hearts.
For this too, I am sooooo thankful!

We had a big fire and still our tress are okay.
only two got singed. That is amazing!
