Full Version: On Guard Against Another Atheist Jamboree!
Christian-Forum.net > General discussion > What do you say?

I'm just curious, after our recent influx of salivating atheists on this forum if the people (and moderators) are a bit on guard with the new members.

For those new members (who aren't atheists) that don't know what happened recently, a group of self-proclaimed atheists (which is funny in itself. Why would you actually be proud of being a fool?!), got together from another forum to hold an "experiment" here regarding the reaction of Christians to this and that. Needless to say, they were obnoxious and got kicked off to sum it up.

Any of these people can come back, and may use a different tact, meaning not a direct, "I'm an atheist" tact. They could masquarade as a "Christian" poster, being very subtle. I'm just saying be careful. None of the new posters that I've seen, seem to be this way and I believe the atheists got tired here anyway, but we always have to be on guard against this in the first place.

This was just on my mind lately for some reason. wink.gif

Again I stresss, new members are most likely what they are. Christians.
You shall know them by their fruits. Be aware.

The devil's game plan has never changed since the beginning of the world until now.....GOD reveals to us all we need to know. Are my senses hightlened since the influx of the atheist group? Yes. Am I worried about them here again. NO. I just remind them, everytime, I see them on our forum, that GOD is still here and WE are praying for them! Will they come as wolves in sheeps clothing? Yes....Will we know them? YES. The Bible says we will know them by their love. A person that is NOT in GOD'S love, and mascarading as a christian, can't hold up the mascarade for long. Sooner or later the true self takes over....and it isn't a pretty sight! But GOD is still in control and HE protects HIS children! AMEN!

I am not afraid to preach the gospel of Christ.

Tell them GOD Loves them right where they are.

Tell them you are praying for their souls to seek salvation.

Plant the seed of LOVE in JESUS NAME; everywhere you see them.....and let GOD send the laborer's to fertilizer and bring the harvest of souls.

GOD'S PLAN IS PERFECT. wub.gif

Indeed. The point of this thread was not from a worry perspective, for atheists that come here only make me stronger in Christ. The point was just to say be aware at the moment because of the recent influx. It could be more heightened. More games and all that. I have no particular problem with ANY non-Christian coming on this board, for there is a chance to witness. What I DO have a problem with is somebody who is not a Christian playing games within an "experiment" or being completely disprespectful and obnoxious towards my Lord, Jesus Christ. I DO have a problem with that. So there you go in a nutshell.

As far as paying attention to "our own fruits", HumbleBob, paraphrasing perhaps from this verse:

"And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thy say to thy brother, "Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?" Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye."

I could be wrong about that, but it sounds similar.

Needless to say, an atheist is NOT my brother. Someone that verbally spits on my Lord is NOT my brother. However, I am a sinner, this is a given. I, we, always have our own things to deal with as Christians, but when a bunch of mocking, atheists come here for fun, I will defend Jesus. (Not that He needs defending, mind you).

My own problems will come second to the defense of Christ. wink.gif

Something just occurred to me the other day regarding people who hold anti-christian feelings and act on them, be they atheists, militant muslims, new agers, etc....
Couldn't they also be anti-semitic?
Let us follow the logic here... Christianity is a sect of Judaism, so it follows that anyone bashing christians could also be indirectly bashing the jew. If I say that Genesis 1 contradicts Genesis 2 and only an idiot would believe in such rediculous nonsense, I am also saying the same about the Torah since the Torah is basicly the first few books of the OT and includes the text of Genesis. Hmmm... it looks like those jews are "idiots" too, so why not "experiment" on them as well? Oops-- I guess I can't do that because it just might tick off the Anti-Defamation League if word got around. Whaddya know, it's just un-PC. lol
Do understand evengelical atheists are often very careful not to step on jewish toes. Let us bear this in mind.
