Three years ago in the summer of 2002 the Lord began explaining more to me about the old man that is inside every human being. At some point many months later, in a single moment, I discovered that I was ready to kill the last of this FAKE ME, and as soon as I prayed that, this FAKE ME started to argue for its life?! And Praise be unto God, the Holy Spirit intervened and explained to me the deceit; that this voice inside me was NOT ME, and indeed, was the last of the old man, and the Holy Spirit killed him.

Has this happened to you?

I want to explain it. Lets say you are born Mary. God gives Mary His spirit of life, her own soul, and she gets a body from her parents. Remember that at death, the spirit goes back to God who gave it. Salvation is meant to save the soul. Mary develops her own soul according to her free will as she lives and grows. If she is saved when she dies, she gets to KEEP God's Spirit and her unique personality. You see many of the false religions teach people to kill their EGO but that is a lie. Your EGO self is your soul self that is uniquely you and developed by your choices (free will) in life. SO, in the experience I had above, I was NOT killing my ego, but a FALSE EGO, which I will explain more later.

So here is what happens. Mary is born, and immediately she is assailed by sin-filled influences in the world around her. Her entire free will soul is bombarded constantly by sin-sourced stimuli. Mary has free will, and in most cases on our world, as you know, she will conform to the world. This conformity actually develops a FALSE-MARY, or the person that Mary thinks that she is. She is not that person, because GOD intended for Mary to conform her soul to the image of His Son. Please let that sink in.

Later in life, Mary is drawn by the Holy Spirit to hear the Gospel and the Holy Spirit regenerates Mary's spirit - Mary is Born Again. Now Mary is supposed to ASK FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT and begin sancitfying herself by obeying he Holy Spirit's leading in her life, by reading the Bible to deposit God's Word into her heart so the Holy Spirit can use that to REMIND Mary of God's views, as Mary is living her life. This is an ongoin process in which Mary gradually is CLEANSED of all the worldly/sinful ideas she had previously taken on.

At some point in this process.. Mary should discover the FALSE-MARY that has been in her. This FALSE MARY pretends to be a Christian. This FALSE MARY pretends to be a Christian. This FALSE MARY pretends to be a Christian.

This FALSE MARY will be a religious spirit until you learn that you are not under the law, then it will pretend to be a free christian. This is the person that you must CRUCIFY. This person is not you... it is the sin version of you, and it controls you even though you believe you are a christian. Basically, it will be there until you mature enough to discover it and ask the Holy Spirit to kill it. Make sure you ask the Holy Spirit to explain this as to whether and how it may fit with you and crucify it for you.

What you can discover throughout this process that, like Paul said, the sin-nature in us is what is trying to stay in control of us. many people believe that bad thoughts come from demons or even that satan takes time out to wallop us... but the main enemy is YOU... no.. the FALSE YOU, the SIN-LADEN-YOU, its the one that is speaking in your head and sounds just like you, and you have thought it was you your WHOLE LIFE.

It will go along with christianity too.. because that doesnt kill it as long as you still IDENTIFY WITH THE IDEA THAT YOU STILL HAVE A SIN NATURE. You see.. that belief gives it power to stay in you and pretend to be you. You are still saved.. but your POWER is diminished...

Thats why I was so relieved when I listened to that bible study on Sunday nite January 29th, 2006 when I was given the understanding that there is NO PRESUMPTION OF SIN. At that very moment, HALLELUJAH, I was set free of even this last trick. Jesus freed us from presuming that we have a sin nature... I think even Paul may have misunderstood this; although he taught on it and all around it.

That old Sin man has no right to PRESUME that you have sin working in you anymore, once you know the TRUTH about him and have asked the Holy Spririt to crucify him. Of course, you have to live according to what you believe. So I am letting the Holy Spirit teach me how to live without the presumption of sin anymore, even since Sunday. its wonderful.

Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Gal 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

Col 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

I meant to post last night on this... Thank you very much for such a thought provoking message. My sister in law is a baby Christian and lately she is reeling far away from Jesus. This message will help me greatly with her. Thank you!
BTW... her name is Mary.... go figure! rolleyes.gif

Love to you Nada!!!

Roxygal,
your reply blesses my heart! thank you

you know I had some further thoughts on this last nite.. and that is that pride is a major block to receiving this message, and I had prayed over that before I posted it.

Also, I realized that at some point, every believer should face this crossroad, because it is logical. It is logical that the person we have by our free will created, BEFORE coming to Christ, is not the real us.....
