The Mark

Revelation 13:16-18 - He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.
Revelation 14:9-11 - Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name.

Revelation 15:2 - And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.

Revelation 16:2 - The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly and painful sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped his image.

Revelation 19:20 - he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.

Revelation 20:4 - And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

Barcelona, Spain is on the northeast coast of Spain on the Mediterranean Sea. The EU super computer is housed in what used to be a chapel at Barcelona's Polytechnical University. The computer is named MareNostrum (Latin for 'Our Sea'). Professor Mateo Valero is director of this project. His specialty is biometrics. He researches interaction between human tissue and machines.
The MareNostrum project is financed by EU's sixth Framework Program (FP6). The EU's new control technology from this super computer is to be implemented in their Seventh Framework Program (FP7) on January 1, 2007 for the seven year EU fiscal term from 2007 to 2013 funded by Javier Solana's ENP Barcelona Process.

GOA-MEFISTO-666 is the title/heading used to refer to this project. MEFISTO is the Mathematical Engineering for Information and Communication Systems Technology. The name comes from the medieval name for Satan; Mephistopholus--the devil in Goethe's 'Faust,' a tale from the Middle Ages. MEFISTO is doing Gene Ontology Annotation (GOA) research for MareNostrum. (Just add a 't' to get 'goat,' a symbol of Satan.)

Biometrics is coming up with new technology. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags are used to monitor people. Finger and eye scans may be used to authorize certain individuals to buy/sell or access computer info. The RIFD (Radio Impulse Frequency Device) chip can be read by scanners like those at markets, and could be used to replace money and credit in our society. They can also monitor where you are, read state of your health, give electronic pulses to affect your mood and ability to function, etc.

Gallileo is the EU's GPS satallite program. It is also being honed to monitor our planet.
The plan appears to be for a tracked society in which all individuals are tagged to combine ID card, ATM/credit card, driving licence, health card, passport, and Social Security into a single biometric chip. This chip could also monitor the body it indwells, and be programmed to affect biological processes including heart rate, mood, health, and well-being by emitting electromagnetic impulses. This would explain why the Bible says that once a person takes the 'mark,' redemption is no longer possible. (Revelation 14:9-11)

It is true that when our salvation is sure, we are eternally secure, but the proof is in the pudding. If we belong to Christ, we trust Him for our eternal salvation. We will not choose to put our trust in the temporal 'world governance' system of Antichrist by taking his mark.
