Maz,

and.....
Well said. God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. He wants us to seek Him out and find His thoughts....given in the Bible. Jesus was about His Father's business at a very young age too! Jesus teaches us through parables, through His Crucifiction, His ressurection, and through the Prophets that He often quoted. His legacy is a clear cut path for Christians to follow. Why we veer is because the path that Christ made for us-has been overgrown with weeds! They are the weeds of sin in our life. We often choose to take the path well traveled, instead of the one less traveled. Unfortunately, they both lead somewhere and end to the same place, before the Judgement Seat of God! What stands between Christ and Man? SIN & FLESH. Man's Sinfulness in the flesh of worldly wants and pleasures! That is why we are to keep our eyes on Jesus! He is the Author and finisher of our faith. I want to hear the words...well done, my good and faithful servant! I am still seeking HIM! Praise God, and one day we will understand all that the Father has been telling us, through His Word. Jesus gives me hope for thing not seen! How precious is the Blood that covered all my sins, and I am called a joint heir with HIM.
Mary pondered the things that God did in her life. Jesus! How she must have felt when she did not know where He was. It is a reflection of us, when we are in sin and not heeding our Lord and Savior. We are lost but we think that God has forsaken us. He's been in the temple all along, about His Father's business, and yet we miss that! It wasn't Jesus that was lost, but two parents that missed Him, and went searching for Him. The fear of being in a sinful path, is a simular feeling to a Christian. The Holy Ghost begins grieving our very souls, until we turn back to God!
