Joh 6:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Jam 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

Believing is not enough. You also have to be obedient. (Do the will of the Father.) Believing infers a commitment to adjust the mindset of the man to conform to the will of the Father.

Mat 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Part of the will of the Father...

Mar 11:26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Joh 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

Forgiveness and just judgment seem to be pretty much it.

Joh 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

Joh 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

The commandment is still new, the paint is barely worn on it as it is left in the box in many cases. WOW
