God is being removed everywhere.....That's what is happening all over!
onetiggerroo
Sorry, the error, is the removal of God in schools, courtroom's and even in our Military Chaplains are being told not to pray in the Name of Jesus....Our government is limiting our freedoms of religious beliefs. Something that our country was and is built on. When they have completely removed our right to praise Our Maker, will you see then, the error.

Yes, the battle is His, I agree with you there, but even a boy named David, had to face a giant! He did so, with God before him and God behind him....His faith in God also lead him to become King. Sometimes God uses us to right the wrong's in man's thinking.

Well i will share the convictions i have with you all. Please read the following words of the Messiah

Mathew: 5: 33-37

“Again you have heard that it was said to those of old, You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform your oaths to the lord, but I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for that is Gods throne; nor by the earth, for that is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black. But let your Yes be your Yes and your No be your No. For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.”

I believe that Christians should never swear oaths for anything. That includes a oath take in court, one taken by the president, one taken by army recruits and many other oaths of office.

Ad, it was not the oath that was bad. It was the lack of God in it...."MY OATH IS TO HIM WHO SAVED ME", not to thin air...the oath is not swearing as in this context of scripture, that you gave us. The pledge of allegence is a oath to God, The Lord's prayer is an Oath to God, Psalms 23 is an oath to God. The Prayer of Jabez is an oath to God. When taking an oath in a courtroom, it is for the telling of truth as we know it to be. Removing God, removes the truth.

Reread the scripture....do not swear, "but give an oath to God...."

Never swear an oath to a government, society, anything worldly, EVER. That'll get you killed in the long run, maybe even by God Himself! The Mark of the Beast is actually a physical oath to a government!

You can swear something to God, but you best keep your promise or you might get punished.

While I find this troubling, I find the "Is Jesus real" programs and "Scietific Bible" programs on TLC, The Dicorvery Channel,a nd other 'learning channels' to be a lot more worrisome. It's an outward questioning of God by some scientists who pretty much stand alone in their beliefs, supported only by unprovable theories and science based on the thought and ideas of a racist, eugenicist like Darwin. There is so much in the Bible that is porvable, but the proper lines of cash flow cut off the minute you mention God, even from supposed Christian colleges. I proposed a very legitimate theory on the flood, and if it went before any review board, it would be shut down and unfunded, simply because it would prove ALL of their professors and books wrong.

The minority now controls the cards, and sacrifices values and morals for the nice feewies of the atheist minority that gets all up in arms everytime you bring up God. I say, from now on, we answer their "Prove God exists" banter with, "Prove He doesn't or shut up and call yourself a cosmic accident, and leave the rest of us out of it."

That's just my $.02.

Waving my christian flag here.

This is what we say in our school

I pledge allegiance to the christian flag
and to the Saviour whose Kingdom it stands

One Saviour crucified, risen and coming again,
For life and liberty for all who believe.

Then we say The Lord's Prayer

Knowledge versus wisdom

Knowledge without God is a recipe for disaster. We simply cannot
and will not survive without a clear moral direction.

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosopy and vain deceit,
after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world,
and not after Christ (Colossians 2:8

All non-biblical education assumes man can become learned without
God. Biblical education makes knowledge the foundation of learning.

You see where the world is going when Christ is taken out of everything-
moral disaster!!

I can understand why i would be killed by worldly powers. But I would never be killed by God for following the Words of My Messiah Jesus. His words are clear to me. When He says "but I say to you, do not swear at all" thats what it means.

Let the Spirit convict
