QUOTE(onetiggerroo @ Jan 11 2006, 04:34 PM)
This song just keeps repeating in my head. So I said, Ok, Lord, You have done so many things for me. I can relate to this song. You have healed my body on more than one occasion. And, although my kids say I'm crazy, you have touched my mind. And Yea, You did save me....Just in Time!...So He tells me, " well, start praising MY NAME!"
So I'm gonna praise Him!!! I'm just gonna praise His Name!
Have you got any praise reports? Post 'em here!

We sing that song!! I could hear it running thru my mind as I read your post!

Last night, God kept probing me...reminding me...that if we don't praise Him, the trees, and rocks and mountains will.
I look to David and the Psalms, sometimes, to get motivated to praise Him, when things seem the darkest. David did this in His writtings. He would see the darkness, and then remember that God had control of every situation. David, with all his humanly failures and faults, knew it was God who wins His battles!
There's another song, "mountains bow down before Him...." but I can't remember the rest of it.
Then I got to thinking about the doxology we used to sing when I was younger.
"Praise God from whom all blessings flow, praise Him all creatures here below, Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts, Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost."
All creatures will praise Him....the Bible tells us this. So why do we as humans, not see His wonder and Majesty in everything...Why do we question His authority? He gave us a mind like His mind, a form like His form and He breathed life into a bunch of dirt, that he had formed into this body that I wear, and called us human! How often do we fret over what we look like? Then the answer he gave me is , "why, I gave you that body, and nothing I do is wrong!" I repented of my sins right there!
He wants us to remember HIM! Praise HIM! LOVE HIM! ACCEPT HIM!
Amazing grace, that's what He is to me.
No matter our song style, He wants us to Praise Him.
If you Praise Me, I will hear you.....
Even in the prayers, I read from the Bible, God must be praised!
He is our giver of Life. Without Him, we have no life......
He is the Author and Finisher of our Faith! I praise HIM.
He is the rock of my salvation....An Awesome God.
When Satan sets up trapes for us to fall into, "He is our Buckler and Shield", He fights the battles for us.
Praise Him, from whom all blessings flow.....
He blesses our comming and our going....Gives us protection in the form of a heavenly hedge. The angels fight our battles, lest we stumble and dash our foot on a rock. God is Awesome!
Praise Him in silence....or with much shouting.... and singing....in stillness...in prayer.....just Glorify His name! Father, Son & Holy Ghost, Jehovah, Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissay. and on, and on, and on.
I often wonder if the Heavenly Host will love it when we drown them out with our praises! How awesome, that we have a song that they can't sing! Because we are His redeemed, remant!
Yes, God is very REAL!!! He is my ROCK!
I want to shout above the groanings that the earth will put forth. He's MY GOD, in HIM WILL I TRUST!
I want to drown out the trees and the mountains and all other creatures! I don't want them to drown me out. I want God to hear from above....I praise HIM! I want to join in with all the others, and PRAISE HIM IN UNITY! What a ringing there will be when we see Him for the very first time, "such shouting you will hear, never heard by mortal ear... oh, what singing, oh what souting, on that blessed morning, when we all shall see!"
No, I'm not crazy, Just Praising Him!
What's your praises?

When the battle is raging, Lord, and we don't know what to do, I know that you are my shelter from the storms that can brew. You are the giver of life and you can take it away so easily too.
These thoughts are running thru my head today, as I pondered on King David and Joshua and all those who fought with the Lord in front of them and behind them...How then can we not have joy? Are we trying to win the battles in this life all by ourselves?.....Then I remembered hearing songs that King David wrote! O how I want to praise Him like King David. He really knew the Lord, and trusted in His words.
Yesterday, my younger daughter sang for me....my heart lept! She sang, The Wonder of His Name, by CC Wynans. There is no name... above the name... of Jesus! In Him I am set free.... His name is marvelous.... His name is Holy.... I can't wait to look upon His face.
Then I thought about another song, that is very dear to my heart; Imagine, by Mercy Me. I can only imagine...what it will be like...when your face I see.....
If these two songs, are that powerful in moving our spirits, then how much more will there be in Heaven? No more wars, no more sickness or hurting. No more broken hearts and minds...Oh! we will be too busy seeking to look upon Him, the One who saved us from our sins and eternal death. Joy will be our healing spirit!
"A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones." Proverbs 17:22 (KJV)
"I will extol thee, O LORD, for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes rejoice over me. O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me. O LORD thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved. LORD, by thy favor thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled. I cried unto thee, O LORD, and unto the LORD I made supplication. What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth? Hear O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD be thou my helper. Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my GOD. I will give thanks unto thee for ever." Psalms 30 (KJV)
I look forward to the day, when the weapons of war are turned into pruning hooks. God gives me so much to be thankful for.
I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the LORD. The houses, my Lord is building for us, are mansions!
How much He loves us!
Praise His Holy Name!!!!!

Are you needing some more Joy! Me too....
God, help us to see the Joy that You Alone can give to us...Fill us to overflowing in Your Warm Embrace. Give us, Peace like a river...my soul is searching for You, thirsting for Your Word.
My daughter sings one of David's Psalms. "As the deer panteth after water, soul my soul longeth after You....You alone are my hearts desire and I long.....to be with You." Give us this thirsting after You, O' LORD.
She sings about the potter too. Mold me and make me, O' LORD.
Put Your praises on my lips for all to hear! I want to praise You more each day. When the enemy sneaks in, and I am caught unaware, put Your Joy, in my heart so that he leaves. Keep me in Your precence. I know that You are my buckler and shield. When I am on my knees, seeking You...My joy overflows...This world seems strangely distant.
I can find peace in the time I spend praising You, even when the world around me....darkens. I praise you for this time. Help me to seek more of this. I am thirsting Lord for the day, You call us home!
In Jesus Name, Amen.

"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in all tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly." Romans 5:1-6 (KJV)Lord, I praise You that YOUR WORD does not come back void! I praise You even when I don't feel like praising You. But when I come to You in obedience of Your Word, I can claim Joy unspeakable and full of Your Glory! Thank You for being a God who understands our needs and have wirtten out instruction for us to follow. I praise you that Your Son, Jesus, died upon a cross for our sins, and on the third day HE ROSE AGAIN! He has conquered the grave for us and I am truly thankful that You loved us so much, to put Your Son in our place, so that we do not have to suffer this death, because of sin. You alone are worthy of MY PRAISES....I thank You for all the Prophecies in Your Word and that they are being fulfilled. All of the prophecies concerning Your Son, Jesus, has been fulfilled and that He is coming again to take us in Your Rapture and into Your Presence! Thank You God for your unending Love for us....

It is by Your Justification that we can PRAISE YOUR HOLY NAME. In Jesus Name, Amen.

He is our Faith our Hope and Our Joy!

Give God the Glory!

Psalms 27:6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
2 Samuel 22:4 I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
2 Samuel 22:50 Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.
Isaiah 12:3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
Why do you Praise Him with JOY?

Today I am feeling down and out and disfunctional among a midst of other things. But I am clinging on to God. You know the feeling that something is just not right in the world around you....sick to your stomach kind of feeling? I know that God is still there, but yet I feel distant, something in my spirit is saying quiet down....I am about to do something BIG. I have been looking at the news on the net....today and I have made some posts this way, but something deep down is nawing at my spirit. It is an uneasy restlessness, that I cannot shake. In moments like this, I come to Him....and sit at His feet and wait for His Word! I want to feel the warmness, of being close to my Savior! I can tell that the Holy Spirit is greived right now....something getting ready to be birthed.....Nothing yet.....so I am waiting for some feeling of Joy to return.....sometimes God calls for wailing! He wants us to cry out to HIM. Oh, the news is so bad these days, Lord, what can I do? Use me Lord, I beg You, don't let me become dry and un-usable! Pick me Lord....even my posts are a struggle today! I want to get Your Word out, help me LORD. There is nothing! Yet I know He is here. Light within me... Your Holy Fire, Lord.....so I come to You with greiving and You turn it into praise.....
It only takes a spark, to get a fire going....and soon all those around...are warmed up in its glowing.......that's how it is with God's love....once you've experienced it....its fresh like spring.....you want to sing........you want to pass it on.....
I am seeking You Lord, warm me in Your embrace, replace this emptiness that I am feeling today with Your Joy. Give me what I need to stay focussed on YOU! Bring the tears and wailing, if that is what You desire of me, just use me! Help me to understand this feeling of unrest! Give me the Words to comfort others who are feeling just like this today. Bring us back to Your Joy inspeakable and full of Your Glory! I am quietly seeking You....in the stillness of my heart...it feels like it is going to jump out of my body right now. O Lord, help me to understand moments like this are for refining me. Jesus, I need You! Holy Spirit, stir within me.....help me to understand Lord! In Jesus Name, I pray, Amen.
Psalms 23 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
King David knew this feeling too......
Psalms 2828:1 Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.
28:2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.
28:3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.
28:4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.
28:5 Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.
28:6 Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.
28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
28:8 The LORD is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.
28:9 Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.

Oh, how I long for the day when His face I shall see! Every knee will bow down to YOU O'Lord!
......it's raining outside my house today, but there is sunshine on the way and a rainbow of the Promises of GOD!
...even in the midst of all I am feeling, I must lift my voice to You Lord! The praises are there, but in tears today......my heart is heavy....but my burden is light!
Psalms 4343:1 Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.
43:2 For thou art the God of my strength: why dost thou cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
43:3 O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.
43:4 Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.
43:5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
AMEN!

Coming after you and me, joy is ours to share
What rejoicing there will be, when the saints shall rise
Headed for that jubilee, yonder in the skies
Chorus
Oh what singing, oh what shouting
On that happy morning when we all shall rise
Oh what glory, Hallelujah
When we meet our blessed Savior in the skies
Hope you enjoy listening to the piano being played and singing along as much as I am! Have a blessed Day with God! Get ready to praise Him, for HE is WORTHY of ALL our praises!!!!!!

My joy is back Tigger and that is in part for your beautiful posts.
God has brought back the joy.
I have had some anger issues and I hardly ever get angry.
I have been angry because our Lord is being mocked so much lately.
I feel Jesus is weeping for what is going on in the world.
He knew this woud happen, but it still must make Him sad.
But He will not be mocked for very long. Just like Tzeitel said.
He has the victory, we have the victory through Him.
I don't know why everyone doesn't love our Lord.
We love Him sooooooooooooo much, that there aren't any
words to descirbe it. So it is difficult for me to understand why
others can't follow Him and love Him as much as He loves them.
So I have cried and flushed the anger kleenex in the toilet where it
belongs. God has restored my joy. For it is Him who I wait on always.
He makes me move into action and witness and sometimes He has
me be still and quiet and just know that He is my Father.
I love Him and blow Him kisses every night. This is something my
daughter does. She does her prayer and blows Him a kiss and says thank you for always being with us.
We can sleep well and have restful days in knowing that our God
is taking caring of us and everything will come to completion by Him
in His time.
God bless you Tigger-you are such a blessing to me.

The more difficult life is and the more severe the temptations we
face, the more we realize how much we need God. When we
are at our weakest, God's power takes on added significance for us. We begin
to understand how precious his compassionate care toward us really is.
This should lead us to praise (just like Tigger did)Him fo his goodness toward
us. LOOK AT Psalm 63:15
Psalm 64: 7-10 look there too.
God knows exactly where our enemies are, and thus he is able to help us thwart
their attack. As we call upon God to help us, others will be awed at what he does
for us. And as we share the good news of God's marvelous deeds,our victory
will fill others with hope and celebration,too.
I like that word thwart, I think I am going to use this a lot.
I hope I don't spit when I say it.

Rosie, thanks for all the things you said... I couldn't find Psalms 63:15 lol
But, I am posting Psalms 63 63:1 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
63:2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
63:3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
63:4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
63:5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:
63:6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.
63:7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
63:8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
63:9 But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
63:10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.
63:11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
and Psalms 64:7-1064:7 But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
64:8 So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
64:9 And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.
64:10 The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
When I am down, Psalms always soothes my soul!

I had tears in my eyes, Sunday morning as I heard the ensamble sing Squire Parson's song,
I'm Not Giving Up,....here is the first three verses....
"Well, I'm not givin' up, no, I'm not turnin' 'round,
By the grace of God, I'll win a shinin' crown someday.
Well, I'll keep holdin' on to that nail scarred hand;
I'm not givin' up, No, I'll keep goin' on.
I've been walkin' through the valley, thru this vale of tears;
At times I've even questioned even if my Lord was near.
Many times that ol' tempter says, "Why not turn around?
You can't get any farther, you're just losin' ground."
But, I'm not givin' up, no, I'm not turnin' 'round,
By the grace of God, I'll win a shinin' crown someday.
Well, I'll keep holdin' on to that nail scarred hand;
I'm not givin' up, No, I'll keep goin' on."
I found a link that has the words to many southern gospel songs. I could not get the link towork that lets you hear the songs, but the words are very moving....

Getting aligned in God's Word.....hum...makes me think that the Bible has so much more to offer us and we have just began to tap into the fountains of GOD's WORD!
First God spoke it into existance....Genesis 1:3
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Genesis 1:6
And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
Genesis 1:9
And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
Genesis 1:11
And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
Genesis 1:14
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
Genesis 1:20
And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
Genesis 1:24
And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Genesis 1:28
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Genesis 1:29
And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
Genesis 6:13
And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
Everything that God said, He did! God's Word will not be made void.....Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. 12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. 13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

One that lasts throughout eternity!

And it really won't matter how well or how bad we'll be singing in heaven, cause we're gonna drown out the angels then, I tell you, we have a song that they can't sing!!!! JUST Imagine that! All of us who believed in Jesus, and were Saved by HIS BLOOD, singing about the KING OF KINGS and the LORD OF LORDS!
I don't sing too much like I used to, losing my voice...too many broncitus attacks and upper respitory, but one day, my lungs will never suffer again! Whew weee...them'll be shouting days!
Reminds me of the story of the old man who wanted to be in the choir, he'd go to the practices, and volunteer, but he never made the choir...because he sang out of tune. But one day, God sent the angels to his little church....he had passed away, and guess who the lead singer was in heaven? He was! And on key too! GOD has a plan and uses us where HE will us! Ain't it great!

THE WORD SAYS STAND....
Stand on HIS WORD. STAND when the Storms are ragging, STAND on the PROMISES, so stand in FAITH....
There is a song, my daughter used to sing...."Stand"....' with my face to the wind'....
the words....to Susan Ashton's song- STAND......
With visible breath, I'm calling your name. With visible tracks, I'm finding my way. With a sorrowful heart, I honor this place and offer these tears to your name. In a moment of truth at the top of the hill, I open my arms and let go of my will.
And stand with my face to the wind with this storm beating down, on this sacred ground. If I stand, for the grace that I've known, for what I believe then I won't stand alone.
There's a new pair of eyes to embrace all I see, a new peace of mind that comes quietly. There's a joy in my heart that you've given to me and I offer this soul's melody. So I beat on my chest till my song has been sung, and I cry like the wolf at the top of my lungs.
And stand with my face to the wind with this storm beating down, on this sacred ground. If I stand, for the grace that I've known, for what I believe then I won't stand alone.Proverbs 3:5-8: Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path. Be not wise in thine own eyes, fear the Lord and depart from evil and it shall be health to thy navel and marrow to thine bone.
Mark 10:27 – All things are possible with God.
Philippians 4:7 – And the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Standing here- FOCUSED ON THE THINGS OF GOD! When we are Gounded in GOD, the gates of hell cannot prevail!Exodus 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
1 Samuel 12:7 Now therefore stand still, that I may reason with you before the LORD of all the righteous acts of the LORD, which he did to you and to your fathers.
1 Samuel 12:16 Now therefore stand and see this great thing, which the LORD will do before your eyes.
2Chronicles 20:17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.

Well, I'll keep holdin' on to that nail scarred hand;
I'm not givin' up, No, I'll keep goin' on.
I've been walkin' through the valley, thru this vale of tears;
Well, I'll keep holdin' on to that nail scarred hand;
I'm not givin' up, No, I'll keep goin' on."

Isaiah 6:3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
I BOWED ON MY KNEES AND CRIED HOLY
by Final Authority
I dreamed of a city called Glory,
So bright and so fair.
As I entered the gate I cried, "Holy"
The angels all met me there:
They carried me from mansion to mansion,
And oh the sites I saw.
But I said, "I want to see Jesus,
The One who died for all."
Then I bowed on my knees and cried,
"Holy, Holy, Holy."
I clapped my hands and sang, "Glory,
Glory to the Son of God;
Glory to the Son of God."
As I entered the gates of that city,
My loved ones all knew me well.
They took me down the streets of Heaven;
Oh the scenes too many to tell;
Oh I saw Abraham, Jacob and Isaac,
And I talked to Timothy.
I said, "Timothy, I want to see Jesus,
For He's the One who died for me."
Then I bowed on my knees and cried,
"Holy, Holy, Holy."
I clapped my hands and sang, "Glory, Glory, Glory
Glory" I clapped my hands and sang, "Glory",
Yes I sang "Glory to the Son of God".

LOOKING FOR A CITY
by Final Authority
Here among the shadows in a lonely land,
We're a band of pilgrims on the move;
Burdened down with sorrows, shunned on every hand,
Looking for a city built above.
Looking for a city, where we'll never die,
There the sainted millions, never say good-by,
There we'll meet our Savior, and our loved ones too,
Come O Holy Spirit, all our hopes renew.
Here in disappointment we so sadly roam,
Friends no longer speak one word of love;
O we have found contentment, Jesus promised us a home,
And I'm looking for a city built above.
We're looking for a city, where we'll never die,
There the sainted millions, never say good-by,
There we'll meet our Savior, and our loved ones too,
Come O Holy Spirit, all our hopes renew.
In this land of dangers going here and there
Trusting in the blessed Saviors love;
Tho' we may be strangers, in this world of care,
Looking for a city built above.
We're looking for a city, where we'll never die,
There the sainted millions, never say good-by,
There we'll meet our Savior, and our loved ones too,
Come O Holy Spirit, all our hopes renew.
Come O Holy Spirit, all our hopes renew.

Rosie, thanks for all the things you said... I couldn't find Psalms 63:15 lol
But, I am posting Psalms 63 63:1 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
63:2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
"OOWWWEEE! Ain't God Good!":D

I’m gonna take a trip in that good old gospel ship,
And go sailing through the air.
O, I’m gonna take a trip in the good old Gospel ship,
I’m going far beyond the sky;
O, I’m gonna shout and sing until the heavens ring,
While I’m bidding this world goodbye.
If you’re ashamed of me you have no cause to be,
For with Christ I am an heir;
If too much fault you find you'll surely be left behind,
While I'm sailing through the air.
O, I’m gonna take a trip in the good old Gospel ship,
I’m going far beyond the sky;
O, I’m gonna shout and sing until the heavens ring,
While I’m bidding this world goodbye.
O, I can scarcely wait, I know I’ll not be late,
For I’ll spend my time in prayer;
And when my ship comes in I will leave this world of sin,
And go sailing through the air.
O, I’m gonna take a trip in the good old Gospel ship,
I’m going far beyond the sky;
O, I’m gonna shout and sing until the heavens ring,
While I’m bidding this world goodbye.
O, I’m gonna take a trip in the good old Gospel ship,
I’m going far beyond the sky;
O, I’m gonna shout and sing until the heavens ring,
While I’m bidding this world goodbye.
While I’m bidding this world goodbye.
Goodbye!

But, I am posting Psalms 63 63:1 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
63:2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
"OOWWWEEE! Ain't God Good!":D

Isaiah 66:5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
WHY DID DAVID DANCE BEFORE THE LORD?1 Chronicles 15:25 So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the house of Obededom with joy. 26 And it came to pass, when God helped the Levites that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, that they offered seven bullocks and seven rams.
27 And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bare the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: David also had upon him an ephod of linen. 28 Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries and harps. 29 And it came to pass, as the ark of the covenant of the LORD came to the city of David, that Michal, the daughter of Saul looking out at a window saw king David dancing and playing: and she despised him in her heart.
2 Samuel 61 Again, David gathered together all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand. 2 And David arose, and went with all the people that were with him from Baale of Judah, to bring up from thence the ark of God, whose name is called by the name of the LORD of hosts that dwelleth between the cherubim. 3 And they set the ark of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was in Gibeah: and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drave the new cart. 4 And they brought it out of the house of Abinadab which was at Gibeah, accompanying the ark of God: and Ahio went before the ark.
5 And David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals. 6 And when they came to Nachon's threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it. 7 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God. 8 And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzzah: and he called the name of the place Perezuzzah to this day. 9 And David was afraid of the LORD that day, and said, How shall the ark of the LORD come to me? 10 So David would not remove the ark of the LORD unto him into the city of David: but David carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite. 11 And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household. 12 And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness. 13 And it was so, that when they that bare the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed oxen and fatlings. 14 And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod. 15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet. 16 And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart. 17 And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD. 18 And as soon as David had made an end of offering burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD of hosts. 19 And he dealt among all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, as well to the women as men, to every one a cake of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. So all the people departed every one to his house. 20 Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself! 21 And David said unto Michal, It was before the LORD, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel: therefore will I play before the LORD. 22 And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honor. 23 Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death. Sometimes when we are in the joy of the LORD, someone comes to blow us out of that joyful moment. We need to remember that we are joyful for the LORD, and that is what matters most. GOD takes care of the rest. Amen.

GO REST HIGH ON THAT MOUNTAIN
by Vince Gill
I know your life
On earth was troubled,
And only you could know the pain;
You weren't afraid to face the devil,
You were no stranger to the rain.
Go rest high on that mountain,
Son, your work on earth is done;
Go to heaven a shoutin',
Love for the Father and the Son.
Oh, how we cried the day you left us,
We gathered round your grave to grieve;
I wish I could see the angels faces,
When they hear your sweet voice sing.
Go rest high on that mountain,
Son, your work on earth is done;
Go to heaven a shoutin',
Love for the Father and the Son.
Go rest high on that mountain,
Son, your work on earth is done;
Go to heaven a shoutin',
Love for the Father and the Son.
Go to heaven a shoutin',
Love for the Father and the Son.

John 19:17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha: 18 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst. 19 And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS. 20 This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin. 21 Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews. 22 Pilate answered, What I have written I have written. 23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout. 24 They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did. 25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! 27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home. 28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. 29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. 30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
John 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Revelation 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
Revelation 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
He will come again! I am holding on to the promise!

Yolanda Adams Lyrics
That Name
There is a name that is so precious,
a name so wonderful to me.
This name is worthy of all praises.
Because of him, I am made free.
That name is Jesus, oh how I love him.
The one who gave, his life for me.
Because of love, so unconditional,
I will have life, eternally.
This name speaks peace, unto my storm clouds,
This name speaks calm, unto me fears.
And when I feel, that no one loves me.
His loving presence is so near.
That name is Jesus, oh how I love him.
The one who gave, his life for me.
Because of love, so unconditional,
I will have life, eternally.
Praise that name!
Praise that name!
Praise that name!
Praise that name!
Someday I'll leave, this earthly dwelling,
To find a place, my soul will soar.
And finally see, the face of Jesus.
And praise his name, forevermore!
That name is Jesus, oh how I love him!
The one who gave, his life for me!
Because of love, so unconditional,
I will have life, eternally.
Excellent is that name!
Glorious is that name!
Wonderful is that name!
Oh praise that name!

When I am at my lowest and weakest... He is at His strongest.
He lifts me up.
He loves me when I am unlovable.
He is glorious and I will forever, FOREVER, worship my King.
Master, right now I wish I had something more to give than a simple prayer or praise. I have nothing of worth. Just my heart. I take it out of my chest and present it to you. It is yours because of what you did for me, because of your unfailing love, and because of your absolute power and authority. I bow my knee and kiss your feet.
The blessings you have given are endless.
You have saved me. If you did nothing else Lord- you deserve all praises for ever and ever for this act alone.
You've rescued me from enemies.
You have preserved an intimate friendship that was attacked. Sin entered into the picture, yet your grace saved our relationship.
Thank you for giving me a spiritual mother.
You have poured out a blessing when my checkbook was at $0 and my bills were due. I was able to eat and have heat because of you.
You have healed my son of a 103 fever in 10 minutes. Thank you GOD for your healing!
You have given me joy when there was nothing physically in my life to put a smile on my face.
You have given me the gift of life.
You have given me a talent to dance. Nothing on earth is better than dancing- exploding- with utter joy. I close my eyes and imagine dancing for you. I can't wait to dance around your throne in heaven. Thank you for giving me the gift of dance.
Thank you for giving me the gift of joy. It is a bold statement to say that I bring joy to others- but I know that is one of the gifts you have blessed me with. My name means Cheerful. You make no mistakes and by my very name you tell me you know me.
Thank you for giving me the gift of mercy. My name means Grace. Your Spirit has put a supernatural ability to offer grace to people... and one of the reasons is because I am so dependent upon YOURS. Thank you FOR YOUR GRACE. Thank you for the blood that covers my sins.
Thank you for forgiving me when I mess up.
Thank you for my areas of weakness that keep me humble.
Thank you THAT I AM AN UNFINISHED WORK!!! Oh Jesus, you KNOW I need help in so many areas. I want to look like you, but I fall miserably short. I am filthy rags.
Thank you for being slow to anger and only disciplining me as a loving Father would.
Thank you for saving family members. I get to spend eternity with THEM!
I thank you for every word you have given me.
I thank you for all things mentioned here.
I could go on and on about your goodness. Jesus, you are the beginning of my beginnings and my total and complete end. I end at your feet, gazing up in total awe and admiration.
I love you. Amen.

I could have danced all night
I could have danced all night
And still have begged for more
I could have spread my wings
And done a thousand things
I'd never done before
I'll never know what made it so exciting
When all at once my heart took flight
I only know when he began to dance with me
I could have danced, danced, danced..all night

I dare say this is only the introduction...the music is just getting warmed up.
You know...the rehearsal...

I have found that since last November or so I have had the need (EVERY DAY) to sing while I play guitar (all to myself mind you) Angels We Have Heard on High, O Holy Night, and Little Drummer Boy. And always in that order.
One day a thought came into my mind that angels were listening. I was humbled.
It has become a form of praise for me. After the kids get on the bus, I walk back home and pick up the guitar, start the day with these 3 songs, then move on from there... strange huh?
Last week I wanted to play and sing "He is Risen" songs... but I haven't transposed any for guitar... let alone my voice.

Rosie loves Jesus, I am doing a happy dance today! Singing and dancing for my LORD! Like King David did! YEPPERS! Love that GOD of mine! HE never ceases to AMAZE me!
The simple message that one little scripture verse can give....
John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
GOD is GOOD all the TIME He's good all the TIME, Yea, GOD is good all the time, He's good all the time!

Tigger, you have the joy of the Lord. My joy is from the Lord too, so I will
dance with you and sing with you. Praising our Lord all the days of our lives.
That is better than watching Days of our Lives isn't it!
love ya,
