So many of us who love the Lord are certain that when the time should come that we are asked to denounce Him or lose our heads, we will stand on our faith in Christ.
Over the weekend the Lord led me to study every mention of the word faith starting at Revelation and goin back toward the gospels. Before I got thru all the epistles, I found a trend that, when push comes to shove, it is 'Christ's Faith' that He GIVES to us.
Number two:
Before we are even asked to go to a guillotine, we will be asked to resist the WORLD peer pressure to believe the great deception that is coming. That pressure is much stronger than going to get your head chopped off, because you walk that plank alone.
Admit to the Lord that your faith, your faith is too weak for some things and pray and ask for Christ's Faith; the Faith He used to go to the cross seeing the Joy that would come. We do not want to give the enemy even a toe hold to think that we with our own will-full faith can stand the hardest trials. Remember it is Christ's Faith.

I can easily see how it would be that us westerners who have had a heavy dose of easy believerism would secumb to the kind of martyrdom that many in other countries have had to accept as the norm. I think it may well be the litmus test of standing or falling.

We all need the strength of the Lord, because our own strength is not enough to get us through these times. I think I'll try your study of of faith--great idea!

Isn’t turning from the name Jesus unto even the Hebrew names for him or his father falling away from him? What about HaShem? Yahweh?
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, [even] by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. When I accepted Jesus Christ, repented of my sins (and I was baptized), I took upon myself His name. And that is one name I am not about to let go of! I follow Jesus Christ, I serve Him, I worship Him, I am teaching my children about Him and trying to bring them unto Him, and there is no way on this earth or in heaven that I will water it down and give Him another name. And I won't worship that way, either. Not Baptist, not Methodist, not World Church, not Church of the United World of the Sanhedrin or whatever they come up with, but Jesus Christ. His church. His name.
