My dear Selene.
You have been in my heart, thoughts and prayers!!
We serve an awesome God!
You are such an inspiration to us all with your faith.
You bless us dearly.
I feel we will all go through these storms soon and you
are helping us with the help of God to always keep
our eyes on Him.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Heaven is our home

Dear Rosie...
God bless YOU my sister! I agree with you...I really believe that like in James 1:2-4 and the Gospel of Acts, that the Lord is preparing us for what is to come...that as His bride He wants us ready and waiting for Him...EVER watching and ACTIVE in the things that were AND STILL ARE close to His heart....to live as He lived and follow Him in ALL that we say and do...to cause us to be strengthened in our walk with Him. People talk about how many aren't physically active and in shape...I think the same analogy can be applied spiritually as well...I Cor 9:24-27 tells us that-
24)"Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.
25)"And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.
26)"Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.
27)" But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified."
Volumes are spoken by Paul here when one looks at these words and then applies them to how an athlete prepares for whatever activity he or she wishes to "get the gold" in.
And then there is Phil 3:13-14-
13)"Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,
14)"I press towards the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."
I just figure I'm getting my spiritual workout...besides how can I share effectively with others how the Lord saves...loves...cares...and is there for us ALWAYS...if I have no firsthand knowledge of such things. Exercise is not necessarily fun...but needed to maintain good health...and combined with a good diet of the Word...prayer and praise...can do wonders!!!!!! And thankfully I've been blessed with brothers and sisters in Christ who care and who will help stand with me in prayer...in support and encouragement...and in praise... when things tend to stretch me to my limits!!!
Sorry if I got a bit off track...just some overflow taught from things of late....ALL PRAISE TO THE LORD...WHO LOVES EACH AND ALL OF US BEYOND WORDS!!!!!!!!\0/
All love in Him!!!!
selene
a PS...which I HAVE TO GIVE HIM PRAISE FOR...He surprised me with other blessings that I didn't even ask Him for today...BLESSED BE HIS PRECIOUS, HOLY NAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'VE NEVER KNOWN SUCH LOVE!!!!!!!And IT'S NOT ABOUT THE GIFTS GIVEN BUT THE LOVE OF THE GIVER WHO CARES SO MUCH!!!! AND NOT ONLY FOR MYSELF AND MY SON BUT FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE THAT PLACES ALL THAT THEY ARE AND CAN EVER HOPE TO BE AT HIS PRECIOUS FEET AND GIVE HIM COMPLETE LORDSHIP OF THEIR LIVES!!!!!!!!PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!\0/

We really do have a great God. I love your choice of Phil. 3. I am constantly reminded that it is the evil one who keeps pointing out things in the past. But it is our God that keeps saying, Just look at what I have waiting for you my beloved. God is able to keep you until that day when He says, That's enough! Come on up here with Me!!
You have a great day and a great New Year.
