My wife told me today of two dreams that she keeps having. They occur at least once per month and always together. They don't seem to have an order - either one could happen first. However, they are always toghter. Here they are:

First Dream: My wife is in college. She is at the end of the semester and has 8 hours to get her things packed in order to leave for home. However, she nevers packs! She always waits until the last minute. She never knows if she makes it before she runs out of time.

Second Dream: My wife is pregnant. She is in the hospital having a sonogram. The Sonogram always reveals that the baby is a boy.

Background so you know:

I have been married to my wife for 15 years. We have two children, both girls.

Ask anything else you may need to interpret the dreams. Thanks!

Hello Todd,
Had some thoughts on your wifes dream. Let me know what you think.

Sounds like your wife may be trying to make a decision about something in her life and she has yet to bring it to the surface and discuss it with you.

College in her dream represents changes in her life and packing is significant of changes ahead. The number eight stands for her trusting her instincts. Possibly not packing until the last minute represents her still thinking about whether this change is right. Having the dream that she is pregnant signifies an aspect of herself needing change and not being able to bring this to the surface and talk about it. Being in the hospital represents her need to heal or her mental health and the sonogram shows her insecurities and fear of failure. I'm alittle fuzzy on the reasons for always seeing a boy other than it could be a masculine aspect in her life.
Just some thoughts. Is this of any help? Make any sense?
Praise the LORD!! \0/

Hi HIS!

Thanks for the interpetation! It makes sense to me.
let me fill you i on a few things to see if this helps:

My wife is anorexic. She has been for 5 years. She has been told she HAS to change her eating habts or she will die (she is 40 yrs old, 90 lbs or less right now, she is losing her hair and so thin you can see every bone and muscle in her body). She has been told this by many people - doctors, therapists, family and friends. She WILL NOT change. She resists every attempt to get her to see the damage it is doing. So I was thinking that when she told me the dream, I thought it might mean she has been warned for the last six months that she needs to change - pack up the stuff she is doing, put it away - or she will not be able to move into the next phase of her life.

The sonogram was interesting to me as well. But after I read what you said, it occurred to me that maybe the LORD JESUS wants to bring forth new life in her, but there is a time frame....she needs to pay attention before time runs out.

What do you think?

Thanks so much! Blessings to you in the NAME of JESUS CHRIST!

Oh....May the LORD be Praised! HE is so wonderful. HE loves us so much....HE cares about everyone of us and all of our troubles......I pray that your wife will listen to the LORD speaking to her heart. HE loves us more than we can imagine. I pray that your wife will be healed of this dibilitating disorder and become renewed and strong and healthy in her body and spirit in Jesus precious name.
